Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bateau Bay

The place is magnificent, photos don’t even do it justice. We loved spending time on the front deck with cocktails and using the jacuzzi at night. Gauri was responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

Loved staying in Kathy and Dave’s home. Was using it while working nights in the area. Comfy bed, clean apartment and all amenities one needs. Would happily stay again

Thank you Craig and Tiffany for letting our family stay here. The property is as described and was very comfortable for the 6 of us. It is very close to the beach (a bit further if you want to swim between the flags), to the lake where we went fishing and convenient to get to the local shops and start our bike ride around Tuggerah Lake. The games room was fun and we enjoyed playing pool along with some retro games on the joystick controllers eg. Tetris, Pacman, Street Fighter, etc. Craig was great to deal with, being responsive and extremely accommodating. Despite it raining for 3 days whilst we were there, there was plenty of things to keep us busy. Thank you for your hospitality and we would love to visit again.

A beautiful retreat in a family friendly home, meeting the brief for beachy charm and hygge. Sunrise greeted each morning through floor to ceiling windows spanning the length of the house - alarms quickly replaced by birdsong and distant waves. Mac’s Tree House managed to offer us even more welcome than expected and our whole family quickly fell into the gentle rhythm of the house central coast area. Books, boardgames and jigsaw puzzles were conquered, and we relished lots of walks to the beach and special moments together snuggling by the indoor log fire. We hope to return one day.

Elly was very responsive and helpful with all communication leading up to our stay. All instruction provided for access was on point and very helpful. All local recommendations were very well received as well. The building manager Colin was very helpful and responsive as well when assistance was needed. Overall very positive experience.

A lovely house in a gorgeous part of the world - walking distance to beautiful Avalon Beach, with so many other wonderful places to visit nearby. Emma is very communicative, gave us so many great tips re restaurants and other things to do in the area. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.

It is the best boathouse I have ever been to and will definitely comes back. Tracey is a fantastic super host and nice lady also invited me to her birthday party during my stay.

A beautiful oasis setting, in the trees. Wonderful western aspect offering evening opportunities to sit on the balcony and watch the sudnown. Easy 2 minute drive to Avoca beach. Really well set up kitchen with double cooktop and oven. Great communication from Janine and Henk.

Stayed here for 3 nights ahead of and during my wedding. Christine was a wonderful host, responsive beforehand. The nest is so beautiful, air con great, and the whole property was exactly what we needed. Lots of space. Would highly recommend.

We had another wonderful stay at Liz and Larry's cabin. The whole family loves going back there! The are both excellent hosts and the cabin is super comfortable and has everything you need!

Kate's place was exactly like the photos and a great location for what we wanted to do whilst in that region, not to mention the awesome view from the balcony! The only constructive (not negative) feedback was that we took our 4 month old German Shepherd puppy with us and didn't have any actual yard for the dog to roam around, or to do it's business, so were out and about walking the streets at all hours of the night to accommodate our dog requirements. Overall we loved Kate and her home but in regards to being pet friendly, perhaps not an active puppy dog. :-). We will certainly stay at Kates place again, just not with the dog. Thanks Kate!!

The view and location were breathtaking

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming holiday house in Caves Beach. The house was exactly as described, with plenty of space for our family. We loved the modern decor, comfortable furniture, and well-equipped kitchen. Great sized backyard for our dog. The house is in a prime location, just a short walk to the beach and close to local shops and cafes. Our host, Sue, was incredibly welcoming and gave us clear instructions to get into the house. We highly recommend this house for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home!"

We had a fantastic time at The Sanctuary, which absolutely stood up to its name. Super well located and had everything we could possibly need for an escape to the beach, we loved every minute.

We had such a wonderful stay at Vivienne’s place in Terrigal that we ended up extending for two more nights! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, close to the beach, great restaurants, coffee spots, and a shopping center. The surroundings were beautiful, making it the perfect spot to relax while still being near everything. Vivienne was a great host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Tim and Nicole’s. All appliances and amenities were top of the range ! Every amenities we could think of were provided, even exceeding our expectations. We had an amazing stay at Lisa’s place. The photos don’t do it justice!! The pool was a beautiful temperature and the beach cabana was so relaxing. Lisa was a great host, provided flexible check in and was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Can’t wait to come back here again!

We had a great stay at Lily‘s place. The children loved the pool and enjoyed the spacious grounds. There were plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The beaches and walking tracks were close by car.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Everything available, great pool , welcome provisions including bottle of wine. Would definitely book this venue again, great value for money.

We are a family of 4 with an 11 and 8 yr old. This house was perfectly located in relation to the the main town road, the lake behind us, which you could see from the dining room, and the beach. The walk to the beach is 10 min through the cozy town, very easily accessible. The house was amazingly clean, she had every amenity that you could possibly want including salt, pepper, oils, glad wrap, tin foil, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable, which I find important when you're staying for a week like we did. Felicity was very responsive. there was lots of storage space for your groceries, a washer and dryer were available, lots of places to hang up your towels to dry after a day at the beach. it truly was a very beautiful and cozy place to stay.

Epic family house. Lots to do and plenty of space. Great having all the bathrooms and the outdoor space is so cool. Shops close by made it easy to really never get in the car. Beach walking distance too!! We had sing alongs around the fire pit and fun in the pool. Great space everywhere. Super private too! Loved it so much.

We stayed for 4 nights and had an excellent time. We were multiple families and had lots of room to spread out into our respective places (as there is the main house, a somewhat separated downstairs area, a studio, a cabin). The pool was incredible and the heater meant we swam every day, even when it was overcast and raining. This house is stocked so well with all the things you’ll need for your stay - we did not need to drop a huge amount of money at the grocery store buying dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, tissues or foil/glad wrap/sandwich bags. Less than 10 minute drive to the beach. It has a somewhat tropical feel on the property. Being acreage with lots of trees there are a lot of sounds of nature (birds, cicadas) which did not bother us or affect our stay. We also appreciated that there were gates everywhere on the outside of the property which meant our younger children were not in immediate danger at any time.

What a lovely find in a magic spot! House was perfectly located within such close walking distance to the Boathouse, beach and creek. The pool was great for a refreshing dip and the covered deck made relaxing enjoyable both in sunny and rainy weather. We also loved being able to bring our dog!
