Cabin holiday rentals in Bass Lake

The A frame cabin is such a cozy place amongst the trees. We loved our family getaway and felt right at home. The host had a lit Christmas tree awaiting us and a bottle of wine! We felt very cared for by the host as he/she responded immediately to all our questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had great time. The cabin was as described. It was clean and cozy and in a convenient location for wineries and Yosemite. The hot tub under the stars at night was a highlight! Thanks for a great stay.

Overall we had a lovely stay. Everything was as described in the listing and it was a great base to explore Yosemite from. It was easy to find, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was great! We found a few things the cleaners seemed to have missed, which we communicated to Jessica; she did mention getting the cleaners to come back but we had just been cleaning up ourselves as we discovered them. There was firewood outside, but none dry inside, and no matches, fire starters or kindling. We let Jessica know but need to buy our own matches, etc; a bit troublesome since the fire is the main source of heating for the house. Jessica did let us know the day we checked out about a specific wood pile that was supposed to be drier than the one by the door we used. Once the fire was lit the house was very warm. We'd definitely recommend Jessica's property - it's in a great location and was a really cosy place for a winter holiday.

For our 20 yr anniversary we want take a break from all our hard work. We said peaceful, cabin-esq, fireplace, gorgeous scenery that looks and smells like fall, and a hot tub. Sara And Tony's place delivered that and more on a silver platter. Everything was pristine upon arrival clean , beautiful carpet in bedrooms, comfortable beds, relaxing living room, and all the conveniences you could want. The hot tub was so clean, natural gas plumbed to the grill and fire pit. Plenty of seating around the wrap around porch. We loved that they didn't have a long list of chores, they were prompt with communication. We rolled right into the driveway and opened the door to a little peace of heaven! We can't wait to come back!!! Thank you for thinking of everything, so we didn't have to!

Beautiful place my fiancé and I stayed at and very relaxing, especially the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Everything was also close like local stores and restaurants but still located in a quiet and remote place. Definitely will come back someday!.

My wife, 2 dogs, and I loved staying here! There was plenty of space on the property for our dogs to run around. The house was great and cozy! The hot tub was a plus, too! We would definitely recommend this place!

This was a great cabin and was perfect to relax with friends! Location was private, but close to town and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely stay again :)

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was flawless. Carolina was quick, friendly and proactive. Her house was perfect for our families with 2 toddlers. The toys, puzzles bath toys and set up kept our littles busy. They have great amenities that many houses don’t. The outdoor fire pit and jacuzzi were a perfect touch. It allowed my husband to have some couple time while the littles were asleep. There’s also a creek and dog park that we walked down to each day. I was surprised that the kids room isn’t fully enclosed. There is about 2 feet of the ceiling wasn’t attached, due to the angled roof. Anytime our littles were sleeping we needed to be extra quiet when in the kitchen or avoided it all together. We also brought our hatch sound machine and placed it in the kitchen, due to our kids being light sleepers. It was a great stay. We plan on coming back!

This is great place to stay. The cabin is well equipped. Really liked the layout and having an upstairs and downstairs bathroom is great.

My family and I had a great stay. The cottage is located close to downtown Oakhurts and not too far from Yosemite. The place is private and has quiet surroundings. Also, we got to see deer on two occasions. Highly recommend.

Noella is a great host! The spot is warm and spacious, and secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our dogs loved roaming around and sniffing through the woods. We actually needed salt and I messaged Noella, and she brought a pack of salt right to our door- very kind of her and responsive.

We had a lovely stay at this Farmhouse. It was super quiet and secluded. The town of Mariposa is just an easy few minutes away by car. Also Yosemite is an easy drive. We would definitely come again. We would highly advise arriving during daylight or it may be hard to find.

Chad's place was one of the most stunning Airbnb's we have rented. Watching the dawn creep over the eastern mountains and highlight the ridges on the southern hills was equalled by drifting in the hot tub at night underneath a sky filled with stars. We were surprised by how quiet it was, both at night and during the day. There was so much thoughtfulness in how the house was laid out, how the wide porch wrapped around three sides, and the cleanliness of all surfaces, the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Chad and Brian were easy to reach with any questions and helped us find the lovely walk along the Chowchilla River. We also celebrated at the nearby Elderberry House - what wonderful restaurant! When we were cooking and cleaning up, we enjoyed listening to the old school radio station, 97.9, on their receiver. The whole vacation was such a gift. We would certainly come back!

Quick and Responsive. The fire pit was a beautiful touch, thank you to the host for assisting on turning it on. This is a glamping experience, but I was amazed at the amount of supplies and amenities this cabin was equipped with. Beautiful views. Quiet as well.

Absolutely Perfect Stay at the Cali Cabin! This cabin exceeded our expectations! The property was spotless, and the thoughtfully arranged interior created a relaxing atmosphere. The host was incredibly responsive and kept the cabin well-stocked with essentials. The kitchen was a highlight with new appliances and mountain views. The location was ideal - walking distance to local food options, short drive to Bass Lake and Oakhurst, and about an hour to Yosemite's West entrance. Perfect size for 2-4 people with bedrooms on both floors. The heating system kept us cozy during chilly mornings and nights. All amenities worked perfectly, including the full-sized washer/dryer. The best part was the stunning environment - mountain views by day and stargazing by night. A true gem for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. Can't wait to return!

Cozy Cottage for Couples! Loved the peaceful vibes and positive energy. Phil greeted and welcomed us with a lovely tour of the grounds. Lisa was super responsive and helpful with recommendations. Oakhurst is a charming town and perfectly situated near Yosemite, Sierra Natl Forest, Bass Lake, and so much more - yet it feels pleasantly secluded, and you can't beat the starry nights seen from the property. The BBQ at Smokehouse41 was great, the Mariposa Coffee Roaster should not be missed - say howdy to "Gerry," Judy's donuts were yum, and the Thrift /Antique stores are full of treasures...enjoy the outdoors, majestic nature, and the nearby towns are full of quirky businesses and historical structures and sites. Thank you so much for a comfy bed, a restful retreat, and a beautiful stay. Peace. :)

It’s a great location if your visiting Yosemite to tourist. The space was impeccable and they responded fast to all inquiries, the only thing was the gas chimney that I couldn’t get to turn on but over all everything was great
