Holiday rentals with lake access in Barren River Lake

Our family so enjoyed our time at the cabin at the cabin. Everything was just as described. Gaby was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were so impressed by the accommodations, and the cabin was equipped with every detail. We are already discussing a return trip and have referred friends to this awesome place!

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with this place! Everything down to what we needed to cook in the kitchen was well thought out. The home was peaceful, pristine and perfect for our Christmas in the mountains. We also enjoyed walking the mountain bike path behind the house! We feel restored. We highly recommend you stay here!

This house was beautiful and perfect for our family weekend. We had a nice relaxing weekend, with some competitive games thrown in. The gas fireplace made it nice and cozy, and the pizza oven provided a fun dinner for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Kimberly’s cabin. It is even more beautiful than the photos. We loved the high ceilings and fireplace. It made the living room feel so cozy. The bed was very comfortable also, and I have sciatica so beds are always a gamble for me (I had a great night’s sleep every night!). Very clean and has everything you need. We came here for our elopement weekend, and we will always think fondly about this cabin when we remember our wedding. Thank you!

This home on the river is absolutely stunning and had plenty of room for my family to relax after long days in the sun. All of the sleeping arrangements were great too. The two decks in the back of the house were an outstanding place to drink our morning coffee. The views and scenery were fantastic and even saw many deer walking within feet of the house. Wow what a place!!! Will definitely be booking again for next year.

We were traveling through the area and needed to make a quick booking. Stephanie’s listing was so wonderful I wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well, there was an outstanding coffee bar, and even lots of snacks provided. The lines and home were clean and there were lots of games and goodies on hand for those going to the nearby lake. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay at Stephanie’s!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! The space was great and we did not run out of activities the whole time we were there. The dock was great and we got lots of great fishing in. The stairs were no joke, but manageable!

What a beautiful home! We had 3 families with lots of kids and had plenty of room for everyone. The place was stunning and had everything we needed plus more! We had a wonderful time.

Very cozy cottage, with a beautiful view and had all the amenities we needed. Loved that we were able to bring our pups and take them for long walks on the dead end road with basically no traffic. Really enjoyed our time there.

We took our family to the Caldwell home for a quiet weekend away from the city..or as quiet as it gets with kids. The home is situated with trees all around and with it being fall, it was so beautiful. The deck is the perfect place to sit with coffee and watch the leaves fall. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept amazingly. The home was very clean and well stocked. Cute, cozy extras like robes for all the guests. The walk down to the water is a little bit of a jaunt, but our crew was up an adventure. This time of year the lake is drained in this particular area, so keep that in mind. There is no lake to be seen October/November. Overall it was a wonderful stay. The next family will enjoy, I’m sure.

Our vacation was great! Mostly because of the lake. It was so warm for most of our stay and the sunset was amazing. It was 5 mins away but we were there almost every day twice! The place was clean and we love the Smore's set prepared for us. Ed was very nice and helpful. It was not that far from the Mammoth Cave and Sand Cave Traihead. We loved the hiking trail very close Brigadoon State Nature Preserve (like 8-9 mins). First time in Kentucky was very successfull. Thank you for the stay!

Beautiful home with everything we needed. Appreciated the thoughtful touches like makings for s’mores :) and peaceful view of the lake. The host kindly suggested we get our tickets early for a Mammoth cave tour and it was great advice!

Our stay had zero problems, no surprises and everything we were told was 100% accurate. The location is very peaceful and safe, the walk to the Lake each day was a great way to start the morning.
