Atanaska's house is the perfect base for skiing in Bansko or for hiking in Rila or Pirin. The house is close to the mountains, but located in a beautiful, quiet small village. The views from the balconies are breathtaking. The house itself is very modern and charming and has everything you might need during your stay. Atanaska is a wonderful host. She gave us very clear instructions and was always available to answer questions about the area. I recommend the house highly and look forward to our next stay.

Can definitely recommend

Great communication and flexibility from the start which made planning the trip simple. Mountain Lodge is located on the quieter side of Bansko but within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and cafes. We did find the cheapest place for groceries was Billa (just down the hill) and it is worth noting that the que for the gondola starts forming at 7.30am. We hired a locker at traventuria which is located opposite the gondola car park (also cheapest ski pass rates if booked in advance) we would highly recommend doing this so your gear fires overnight and you don’t have to carry in daily. Overall we had a great stay at the apartments four adults, thank you for hosting us.

Verka and her family were incredible. From helping us transfer from the airport to getting rental equipment for the slopes and lessons. She knew all the best people and places and looked after us. The rooms were clean spacious and perfect for our group breakfast was provided daily and great. As a group of 14 we took the entire house and it was just perfect we will definitely stay here again. Everything was fine.

This was a perfect spot for me, I was so cozy and comfortable here. I needed a clean and quiet place to stay with my pet while looking for flats in town, and this spot was just right. The sitting area was especially nice by candlelight (a high-quality candle was provided :), and there was plenty of privacy in the room and on the balcony, which was good for me and my pet. The hosts were super sweet and helped me with everything I needed. For example, I asked to leave my bags in storage at checkout time, and they told me I could just keep them in the room until I was ready to get them 3 hours later (this helped so much!). Also, there are lots of good restaurants and shops nearby, but you don't hear the noise of the city in the room at all --it's tucked away. I could not have been happier with my stay and would definitely come back.

The place was great and in a good location close too the gondola and the centre. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Great set up in the bedrooms with wifi and smart TVs so we could watch anything we could in england. Would be perfect for 2 couples or two friends as there is a comfy double bed in each room. Over all we had a great stay and would definitely come back and stay again!! Thankyou Elka.

1st time in Bansko for the skiing which I have to say was amazing. A 10 minute walk from the apartment to the gondola & ski pass ticket office or a 5 minute drive to one of many car parks which I opted for as I had a 9 & a 13yr old with me + ski equipment. Lots of really good places to eat in Bansko and pretty reasonable. If buying food to eat at home then there is a Lidl 10 minute drive away as the food shops in Bansko are expensive. Dimitar’s place was great with plenty of room for the 3 of us. 2 double bedrooms & a sofa bed. 2 bathrooms & a lounge + kitchen/diner. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedding & towels. The flat was warm. Actually had to turn the heating down as the flat holds the temperature really well. The balcony was nice also. We made use of the swimming facility which was great after a days skiing. Downstairs in the lobby is a small bar, pool table & restaurant. We walked into town every evening to eat which was pretty close. Many thanks.

Play Airbnb we originally booked cancelled on us last minute. Adelina responded quickly, confirmed quickly and met us at the door last minute. Although this is not a luxury apartment, it does not promise to be. However, It is incredibly convenient , right next to the gondola has a great shower, comfy bed and a fantastic host!

Ivan apartment is very spacious , and has everything you need for a comfortable stay , it’s 20 min of walking to the city centrum and in a quiet area with parking, great value for monay

Great place to stay, perfect location. Pool, hot tub and sauna was great after a day of skiing. Close to gondola and restaurants in town.

I really recommend this place, close to the gondola, ski rent, restaurants and supermarket. Everything was ok.

Good size apartment for a 5 night stay with 3 friends. Great location, convenience store just next door - just up the hill from the best hire store (MegaSki center) and a couple of minutes from the main road full of stores, restaurants and bars. The apartment has plenty of amminities to get you through your stay. Pans/ hair dryer/ spare blankets ect. Note: we didn't see in the listing that we would need to provide some supplies ourselves, toilet roll/ washing up bits. Conveniently for us some had been left presumably by previous guests. Pleasant spa area. Both the apartment and spa are could do with a little more attention to detail which could really maximise satisfaction with the facilities. Easy fixes that I have notified the host of. Ex, new shower curtain. All in all a great stay! Our favourite food location this trip was The Chefs House & drinks location Amigos.

Svetla and Anne are the best. I don't think we've had better hosts. Friendly, helpful, and unbelievably generous. I hope to come back to Bansko soon and this is where I would stay. The apartment is in a great location, right across from the gondola, and has everything you need for a long or short stay. My wife and I were there in the summer for two months and it felt like home. My highest recommendation. One of the best places we've stayed.

I enjoyed my stay here at this location. It is very close to nearby hiking trails that connect up to the the high mountain. It is a little far from the center for the Sunday farmers market but is very quiet at night. There was some unexpected construction on the property during the last week of my stay to install reliable internet into every house. The property lists that it includes a/c but there are no a/c units or fans in the house. Also note that there are no screens on the windows to prevent bugs from entering the house when open. Luckily Bansko doesn't have too many bugs and it is fairly cool at night even during June and early July. Other than these minor things I enjoyed my stay here and would certainly book the home again.

A fabulous place in the woods! The house is equipped with everything you need for a complete stay. Cozy, quiet and peaceful! The road is convenient and easy to get to the place. The hosts are kind and responsive, willing to help if there is a need. We would certainly come back again in the summer! ❤️❤️

Wonderful, friendly and very helpful host. The house was cosy, clean and we were all by ourselves in the woods, which was the reason for us to land on The Life House in the first place. Nature is nice, clean and there is a lot to do in the area. Overall 5 ⭐️ for both Plamen (host) and another 5 ⭐️ for his wonderful property.
