Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bangor

We cannot recommend this place highly enough and (as with the other reviews) would like to mention the view from the lounge/balcony because it is absolutely fantastic! We had lovely sunrise and sunset skies and even had the bonus of being able to hear the "Carols at the Castle" on Christmas Eve evening followed by an amazing fireworks display from the Castle, just brilliant! The property was spotlessly clean and looked exactly like the photographs. We stayed 23-27 December and there was a Christmas Tree with lights (thanks Keri) and we also got lots of use out of the real log burning fire. The Castle View pub up the road is definitely worth a visit, the management are really friendly and we had some lovely food there, and Morfa Conwy beach is highly recommended for the sand and scenery. Overall a brilliant location and we will certainly stay here again. Thanks again Keri, we couldn't fault it!

We had the most magical Christmas stay at Jill’s property. The location is perfect, everything within Beaumaris is within walking distance. The house is warm and cozy with the fire lit and everywhere you look you see charm and character. It’s a real gem of a property. Everything is well catered for including parking.

Had the pleasure of staying at the woodmans cottage last week. It was absolutely fantastic and perfect for a quiet getaway. Its about a 10 minute drive from conwy (the nearest town) and 30-40 minutes from snowdonia too. Becky and Phil were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond on making sure we had an incredible stay. Would definitely recommend this place and i can’t wait to return in the future :)

Debra’s place was exactly what we had expected. It felt homely and the location was perfect for us to access the coastal walk and explore other parts of Anglesey. Would definitely look to book again!

We loved our stay at Glasfryn House. The house is gorgeous - it is spacious, beautifully decorated and felt like home. The lay out is fantastic - a large kitchen with dining area, comfy couches and wood fireplace in the living room with a second large dining table, bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and another living room, two bedrooms and large modern bathroom downstairs. There's a large deck, a hot tub in a private area, and a large wooded area to explore at the back of the property. Freda welcomed our two dogs and they loved the wooded area. This beautiful property is located just a couple of minutes walk away from the centre of Beddgelert, with lots of walking paths. It is the perfect location for exploring the area. Freda was a lovely host - very friendly and helpful. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which made for an extra special stay in the lead up to Christmas. Thanks Freda for having us to stay.

We recently stayed in this wonderful two-bedroom apartment in Abersoch, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The apartment was impeccably clean and had a fresh, welcoming feel. It was well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like the heating being on when we arrived, making it cozy and inviting from the start & a bottle of bubbles and a box of chocs to help see in the New Year. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and Vaynol, making it convenient for exploring the area, this apartment has it all. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Abersoch!

This is the second time we have stayed here it’s great if you go with another couple as there are two bathrooms and two bedrooms, lovely and spacious. It’s great location on church walks and the bedrooms are at the back so it’s nice and quiet at night as there is a pub across the road.

We had a great stay, place was easy to find and get into. The apartment was a good size with plenty of space in the bedrooms for luggage etc and plenty of storage for clothes. Really quite area, didn't hear any noise at all. Kitchen had those important little extras (pint of milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee) and handsoap in all bathrooms. Just that little bit of thought that makes a stay more convenient.

Cosy home in the mountains, great as a base for a wintery weekend spent in Wales. Snacks in arrival and the cinema room made for extra relaxing evenings.

Wonderful host, friendly and helpful. The property was clean and spacious, had all the amenities you could need and extras, such as cleaning products, tea coffee etc. We even had a Christmas tree and some Quality Street left for us which was a lovely touch! Location was great, we were unlucky with the weather so didn’t get to make the most of the surroundings. Would definitely recommend Maria and her property. Thank you ☺️

A really, really, really nice air b&b. Linda is amazing at communication and check in was really smooth. We loved our stay, it was such a cosy home from home after a long day hiking in Snowdonia national park, and my dog thoroughly enjoyed running around in the dunes down the road. The annexe had everything you could need, I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a relaxing break with their dog. The milk and surprise Welsh cakes were a great little bonus! Amazing place to spend my birthday - Thankyou! 😊

Perfect stay for a quiet January getaway. The flat had everything we could need, and the views from every window were amazing. We could have watched the ocean from the bedroom all day! Check in, communication and cleanliness were all fantastic. My partner and I would highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to return one day soon!

What can I say, we had such a wonderful stay over Christmas at the apartment! It is located right in the heart of Llanberis with easy access to all the beautiful spots around Snowdonia. The apartment itself was exactly as described and we had no trouble finding it. Parking was hassle free too! Iona was a lovely host and communicated very well, thank you very much for the stay and hope we can revisit during tire summer months!

Honestly out of every hotel and houses ive stayed at this is by far the best place i have stayed as well as my family. The views and surroundings are absolutely breath taking especially in the morning. The last night we stayed we managed to do some stargazing and omg it was just amazing. The house itself has a library room which my grandparents absolutely loved and couldn’t stay out of. We all played the piano and sat around the dinner table! This house really brought the family together and it was amazing! we will definitely 100% be coming back next year! thank you paul and claire for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Beautiful house in a lovely location, unfortunately the weather was very windy and wet so could not take advantage of the lovely walks in the area. There are no restaurants nearby so we took full advantage of the house. The hot tub was amazing, just need to be careful the decking is very slippery and one of our party slipped and fell and hurt his hip. Halina is very responsive, we had an issue with checking in on the Airbnb app it said from 3pm but it had been changed to 4pm and Airbnb had not informed us but Halina resolved the issue.

Amy is a great host who provided all we needed for a brilliant stay. The house is even better than expected and we hope to return again in the future.
