An incredible gem tucked away in the private woods. We enjoyed a hot tub soak overlooking a fantastic sunset on the frozen lake. Loved our time here and will return!

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

We brought our kids here as part of their Christmas present and something to look forward to over the winter. So they could have a chance at having a real Canadian winter experience and make snow forts and see the beauty of being up north. This place offered it all! The hot tub was very clean and the house was so warm and inviting and Nikki responded quickly whenever I had a question and her cottage was pristine. We will love to come back. Our kids had a blast!

We had a very pleasant stay at Kevin’s cottage. He is very responsive to my questions. We stayed in winter months and the place was cozy. The kitchen is well stocked We had nice walk on the frozen lake. petroglyph is closed for winter months but Kawartha Nordic is a great place to visit in winter .

We had a lovely weekend at The Cave. The house was easy to find and was exactly what we were looking for. The lake was great for snowshoeing and dog walks being so secluded and private. The lake was not deep enough for any ice fishing but the surrounding area has plenty to choose from. Other than a few dishes needing a second cleaning, we had no issues. Our host was great to communicate with and was open to all feedback.

We were booked for 4 adults staying 4 nights, just after New Years Day. We asked for a last minute change to 6 people, which Emily immediately accommodated without any difficulties or extra fees. The place was spotlessly clean. It exceeded my expectations from the photos - it felt larger and even nicer and more inviting than the photos. We immediately felt at home, cooked excellent meals in the well equipped kitchen, made ample use of the TV, game table, and hot tub (in minus 16 degree temperatures) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Emily is a friendly, courteous, responsive host. I would highly recommend this property and its host.

It was perfect for our girls getaway! Kathryn and Lora were very responsive and helpful. The place had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked and the fireplace was a beautiful touch! The interiors were cozy and warm as well. The hot tub was incredible to use as well and was ready for us to use. Thank you for an incredible stay, we will definitely be back!

nice renovated home . could use some more counter space for food prep but everything you need to make a meal is there.

Had a great time at this property. Even though we stayed at home due to snow we had great view. So many indoor games and fun things to do at the property. A perfect budget friendly weekend getaway. Would love to visit in the summers soon

We had a lovely winter getaway at Julie & Roger's. The home is very homey with a nice kitchen, wood fireplace and comfortable living area. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage and great location! Wonderful view of the water from all the main areas. Cottage was a bit chilly, but quickly warmed up with fireplace and heaters going. Good amenities in the area, but the wooded lot provides a beautiful private feel. Extremely well stocked kitchen! I would strongly recommend staying here.

Excellent value, super comfortable, clean and a great experience. Perfect location for visiting Algonquin. Lisa was a very responsive host, helpful and friendly. Hope to visit again soon! The wood stove was so cozy on a cold January weekend.

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

Laura is definitely a 5 star host she has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Laura responds to questions very quickly and has lots of information about the area and the cottage. I appreciated that she emailed me on a rainy day for things to do. From the time we entered the cottage we felt welcomed with a candle and a s’mores kit which was put to good use. The cottage is very peaceful and well stocked and very comfortable as show in the pictures. The host has thought of all your needs from newspapers to start a fire to coffee . Now make sure you are physically ok to climb stairs as my Apple Watch gave me a new 5 day trend for climbing stairs. However it’s a necessary evil to enjoy the cottage. If you want to relax and enjoy sitting on the dock watching a few ducks and reading a book than this is your place

Our stay was perfect, chalet had everything you could ask for and more! We stayed for work so we didn’t get a chance to go to the beach, or play any of the ample board games, but the kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the shower had great water pressure! Could not have asked for a better stay!

Spent new years here with a group of friends. It was the perfect space to relax and we loved the sauna. Super well appointed kitchen, and very close to beautiful hikes at Silent Lake Provincial Park

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

We were there for two nights for a much needed getaway, and even though things didn’t work out the way we thought they would (nothing to do with Lakepoint Cottage Resort) we had an amazing and relaxing weekend. We will definitely be returning.

I stayed here with 2 friends for a girls weekend. Everything was as described, and communication with Parul was very fast and friendly. What a wonderful host and a great place to stay! Something worth noting is that the hot tub was a great luxury to have but it is small. Ideal for 1-2 people, it was a bit crowded with 3 of us. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked even including oil and seasonings. We much appreciated the welcome bottle of wine and the informative Welcome Manual. We would love to visit the area again in warmer weather to explore the beautiful surroundings and we would stay at Parul’s again in a heartbeat!

Once again we had a great stay! This was our second year staying at Kunals' place and it was just as we expected. Kunal went above and beyond to accomodate us. Unfortunately a wk. before, due to a bad storm, the liner of the pool was damaged so the pool was inoperable. This is one of the main highlights of Kunals' place for us so it was a little disheartening because we were there for 8 days...HOWEVER, once again Kunal came through!! He purchased an 18ft back up pool and had it assembled and ready to go for our arrival so that we could still enjoy a pool!! My sister and I had a great time, enjoyed the peace and quiet and would stay at Kunals place over an all inclusive Carribbean trip anyday! House was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Kunal gave us late checkout which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be doing an extended stay next summer and are so looking forward to it! Thanks Kunal, you are a great host and we thank you for being so accomodating!!

Mihaela's cottage was a lovely little place surrounded by trees. Despite its location deep down the cottage roads, it took less than 15 minutes to drive wherever we needed to go (Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, Kawartha Highlands Signature Park). The cottage itself was comfortable and clean, but we especially enjoyed the lovely firepit and jacuzzi 😄 Mihaela was also a responsive and understanding host, leaving plenty of clear instructions and responding to questions in record time. Overall we had a great stay and I would happily recommend this cottage to others!

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?
