Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ballarat Central

Beautiful place to stay! The house was spacious for 5 people with a beautiful outdoor area as well. The town is walking distance so heaps to do around the area. Geraldine is friendly and super easy to communicate with! She left us a welcome pack with some treats and snacks that were greatly appreciated!! Would definitely be back.

Karen’s place provided a wonderful retreat whilst we were at Golden Plains festival with our children (3&5yo). The children loved the garden Karen provided thoughtful bubble bath, the kitchen was very well equipped (we even baked muffins) and the BBQ was spotless! Buninyong is a lovely town close by and it’s so close to Ballarat if you want to explore those sights and delights. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We so needed this stay at "Artisan". never was a place more accurately named - with the place being filled with curated curios and art from around the world without seeming cluttered. absolutely modern facilities, the place was spotless and private. bedding and bed was perfect. John greeted us on arrival, and the advice on what to see and do was very welcome. we will be back! just want it to be colder so we can take advantage of the fire...

We wanted a homely experience and that is exactly what we got. Comfortable, great location and suited what we needed. My mum picked this as her first foray into the Air bnb world and she was happy

Great little property for an overnight stay, has everything you need and a great location for exploring Ballarat. Linda was a great host and super helpful!

Loved the place and the fire pit. Such a lovely place to be. Nice and open plan. Tough with young kids and older folks trying to sleep, but we made it work. Close to the made road and Sovereign Hills. A little noisy from weekday traffic in the mornings, but not too bad. Very grateful for the lovely fire pit out the back that was VERY warm, and had a lovely time cooking a meal over it. Lovely BIG backyard for kids. Plenty of parking on the street as there is only one car space in the driveway. The bathrooms are as beautiful as they look!

We had a lovely stay at Magnolia Cottage! The space was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. The Rebecca was responsive and welcoming, making check-in and communication seamless. Just a little side note, The cottage is located on a main road, which I didn’t realise until we checked in, so there was some road noise at times for the two front bedrooms. It didn’t bother us much, but it did wake us at bedtime and first thing in the morning. Overall, a delightful spot that we’d definitely consider booking again!

Robert has gone above and beyond to make this a delightful place to stay. The house is beautifully decorated and filled with everything you need for a great stay. There are so many thoughtful extra touches that I have never seen in any AirBnb like plant based milk, treats in the kitchen, and multiple phone charges. He has even thought about safety with a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. The work desk is fully stocked with everything you need to plug in your laptop and work. The outdoor area is comfortable and the garden has wonderful lights that change colours in the evening. Robert was highly responsive and accommodating and has provided everything you need to know for your stay. Perfect 5 star accommodation and host.

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

The Unit was spot on! Close walk to city centre (3 minutes) if you can’t be bothered walking that far there is a place to eat across the road, lots of thing to do within walking distance, train ride, market on a Sunday, lots of restaurants, cafe’s, shops, museums! Quick walk to the Wombats garden. Wineries within driving distance (great wines!) Thanks Renee & Izzy! We enjoyed our Easter trip away from Geelong..

Really nice, kinda period New York laid out apartment. Directions are good. Master bedroom is enormous and nice n dark n quiet at night. Well located close to Sturt Street. We enjoyed our stay for 4 over Christmas

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

Great location and close to ammenities. Can be a little noisy at night due to the building being directly on the main stretch, but this is no different to any other apartment in a similar position. It's a beautiful apartment and well appointed.

Hepburn springs and surrounding area are generally expensive but this accommodation was very reasonably priced.Unfortunately most of Hepburn Springs is either up for sale or closed down but Daylesford is only 5 minutes away by car and theres plenty to see or do there.

Had such a lovely weekend getaway. Feels very private with such stunning views and heaps of wildlife. The hot tub is awesome and it’s only a short drive into town. Would definitely stay again!

We had an extra long weekend in one of the 2 story villas at Hepburn Springs for the Daylesford Chillout Festival. We could not have been more delighted! Beautiful surroundings and view from our villa, perfect 2 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms and all the amenities we could want. Parking easy, coffee machines and aircon, lovely clean and comfy beds. This place is a special find for us and we will definitely return. We also loved the location within easy reach of all the local shops and restaurants.

Really enjoyed the stay, the place was clean and the spot 2nd to none right on the lake.

Spent 2 nights La Boheme. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is in the middle of nature with plenty of wildlife. The highlight was definitely the regular kangaroos bouncy past the house. The location is perfect with plenty to do and plenty to see.

Amber, you are truly the most wonderful host - from initial booking, right through our stay (including great local recommendations). The information around the home was faultless, and clear / easy. From the ambience of the front retreat room, the fully appointed kitchen (truly, it has everything and more!!), the quality linen (and plenty of towels, which are often lacking), to the lounges, the gorgeous table and the best sleep I’ve had in months…. I cannot fault this magnificent property. Quality, class, and spotless!! I’ve not even started on the swim spa! I cannot wait to be back, thank you for sharing this piece of heaven. So grateful. Our stay at the Vicarage was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived—lights on, music playing—we felt instantly relaxed. The home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and charm and Dean is an incredibly thoughtful host. The fires were set, the hot tub was ready, and a generous selection of provisions welcomed us. There were no tedious rules, just an open invitation to unwind and enjoy. The gardens were gorgeous too with plenty of quiet spots to enjoy a book or a cuppa, and Sammy the cat made us feel right at home. Every detail was focused on comfort and ease.
