Jill was a fantastic host and really made our stay perfect. I had a number of questions before arriving at the cottage which she answered promptly! The cottage is lovely inside, super clean and kitted out with everything we needed. There’s a lovely window seat and table that overlooks the quarry - the perfect reading and writing nook! As the island has no cars on it we made sure to bring what we needed (groceries) with us, but after realising we left an essential item behind (and the last ferry of the day had gone) Jill was incredible, going out her way to help - along with Allan who lives on the island. It saved our trip and also just made us feeling very looked after to know there were people around who could help! We wandered round the islands, went for a quick dip in the swimming quarry, had hot chocolate in the puffer and overall had a wonderful weekend winding down. Would highly recommend!

What a lovely house! Spacious, beautifully decorated with lots of natural materials, feels super cozy. It has everything you need and I especially liked the large kitchen. Traveling with two children we tend to cook a lot and it was a joy to do it here. The three (!) bathrooms are also super convenient. It was quite warm, so we didn't use the fireplace, but I bet it's lovely in winter. The horses right next to the backyard were a nice surprise (they like being fed and come around regularly :-) )! It's not too far into town with its shops, Cafés, restaurants etc. and of course the harbour (do the Staffa Tour if you have the time, well worth it). Finally, Alison herself was a great host. She provides any information you could need and answered super quickly when we had a small issue. We stayed a week on the island and couldn't have asked for a more perfect home. If we are lucky enough to come back to Tobermory one day, I'll certainly book this house again.

This cottage is in an amazing location. The views from the living room were outstanding at every time of day. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space to relax. Despite its remote location (which makes it so peaceful) there is plenty to do, with walks to wild places, boat trips and even a little bistro restaurant (Elgol Bistro) offering lovely food. We loved staying here.

Our visit to Ella's place on Mull exceeded expectations! The Blue House instantly felt like home, with all the amenities we needed. Located in a quiet area just a short distance from Tobermory, it’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to the town. The 10 minute walk into Tobermory was very pleasant. Ella was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and great recommendations for the area. The Blue House, part of a vibrant row of homes, felt like a beautiful homage to Tobermory's iconic colorful houses along the harbor. We highly recommend this charming house to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future!

The coziest of lodges in the most beautiful setting. Elizabeth was the best host we've had so far, and the lodge was immaculate. She met us on arrival and showed us around, she also left a few treats that were much appreciated. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the lodge for you. Ideally located for an off beat adventure. We loved ever minute.

We could not have had a better stay at Vanessa’s cottage. Everything was perfect. It’s lovely and clean with stunning decor. A compact kitchen with all of the essentials. There is a lovely view of the sea from the kitchen window. Tobermory is only a short walk away. We really enjoyed getting cosy in front of the wood burning stove in the evening. From start to finish Vanessa was a really friendly and responsive host. Thanks for a great stay Vanessa. ❤️

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our family getaway. Jeremy and Claire ensured we had excellent directions to find the place and were lovely hosts. The steading itself is beautifully designed and makes for an ideal escape. Lots of good memories made!

Beautifully decorated and well appointed home. Great location - 5 min walk from the co-op, 15 mins walk to the centre of Castlebay. We stayed with our two young kids and their grandparents. Everyone was comfortable, there were appropriately designed bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all ages. The house was warm throughout and features a comfy living room, big dining table - and a bright and welcoming kitchen with a nice, smaller table for breakfast. Definitely hope to stay here again and happily recommend.

Excellent accommodation in the ideal position to explore Islay. The house was spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable and warm.
