We stayed here over New Year and it was the perfect place for a chilled celebration. The location is great, close to Harrogate, Ripon and Skipton for day trips and there are plenty of walks on the doorstep. The house was so tidy when we arrived and the hosts made us feel welcome with a cake and champagne on arrival.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The location was great for some amazing walks and waterfalls. The house was spotless and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again

Lovely place to stay. We booked very last minute after new year and arrived within three hours of booking. Lisa had the place all ready and even some juice and milk in the fridge. She was great at communicating when needed during our stay but left us to enjoy it which we appreciated. The place is spacious and homey and the hot tub is perfect. The area is great with lots of walks and pubs and plenty to do.

Unfussy, cosy, well equipped cottage in friendly residential village, located in a beautiful part of the world. Short walk to lovely estuary and 5 mins drive to Arnside Village. Spotlessly clean and well looked after. Everything worked as it should. Greeted on arrival by Anne, who was cheerful and helpful. Village shop 10 feet from the back gate! Nearby Milnthorpe and Kendal for other amenities. Would love to go back.

Stayed here for a second time in two weeks on our way back from holiday in Scotland (having stayed on our way up too). Spotless and cosy as before although weather had cooled a bit (last weekend of Sept) so was a little chilly at night even with the heater on. Worth noting for late autumn/winter stays. Great to see Mike again - top host. Also it’s worth the half hour drive to the Drover’s Rest pub in Monkhill with its great range of draft beers from local independents, amazing 10 inch hot dogs and ridiculously friendly staff. Also great for dogs. We had a brilliant dinner there.

Great apartment! Clean and quiet for a couples weekend getaway. Close to many parks and walkable paths if you bring your pet. Will be visiting again!

Great location for a three day work trip Shower has a height restriction so max 6ft like me, Great that biscuits coffee and milk provided Ie If you are Peter Crouch it is not for you :)

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

Luan is hands down the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, she made our weekend spectacular with thoughtful gifts that instantly made us feel welcome. The house was beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and we especially loved the games and the hot tub—it made our girls’ weekend so much fun and extra relaxing. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations; this was truly more than a 5-star experience. We’re already planning to come back because we didn’t want to leave!
