Cottage holiday rentals in Bala

Lovely little cottage! Exactly as described. Small but has everything that you need. We did need plenty of wood for the hot tub, we brought two big bags of our own so we had enough for 2 nights. First night took a few hours to heat (as it says in the book) but easy enough to do if you follow the instructions in the book which are very clear! Second day it heated up much quicker as we put the lid on right after we finished the night before and then got it started again first thing next morning. Bathroom is small but spotlessly clean! Kitchen very well equipped and they even left us lots of ice in the freezer, bonus! Tarvin high street is 20-30 min walk away (depending on your pace) where we had a lovely meal in Cornichon bistro. All in all a lovely little place to stay 😊

What a fantastic place, I'm so pleased I booked Beudy Bach Cottage for my last minute break! It was so peaceful and tranquil and just what I needed. It is in such a beautiful location. The bed is so comfortable, I slept so well. The cottage has everything you need and an added bonus of your own hot tub, and a gym. Lliwen and Paul were fantastic hosts! Lliwen searched for some vegan recommendations for me, which I was grateful for. Paul was helpful with local knowledge regarding the walks I wanted to go on. Overall, this break was perfect and I cannot wait to come back again to Beudy Bach for a bit of rest and relaxation. Thank you Lliwen and Paul!

needed somewhere to stay while visiting friends and so glad I found this little gem of a place, very spacious and comfortable, lovely garden and orchard. description was very accurate. paul was super helpful and responded to my messages super quick. the property is easy to find and is on a main road but I didn't find this an issue at all as once inside and gates shut its all secure in your own little bubble. everything you need is provided in the property and it was super spotless clean and tidy. highly recommend to anyone and those with dogs it's the perfect hideaway. lovely welcome gifts on my arrival and the heating had been put on so it was cosy and warm too. its older style furnished but i prefer this personally as it follows the feel of the cottage itself. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful cottage in the future, and wish them all the best with it too.

Stunning location, stunning cottage. Paul was fantastic and responded to any questions. The cleaner had only left two towels for 4 guests, messaged Paul and he got some dropped off, great service. The cottage is great, plenty of space, kitchen is stunning and good little forecourt garden. The cottage would be perfect if there was an upgrade on beds and sofas. Would happily return and recommend to people. The area is stunning:

Excellent accommodation with a great location. Very warm and cosy for the time of year. Hot tub was a big bonus, superb kitchen facilities, clean and tidy bathroom with a great shower. Loads of floor space and a comfortable bed. Tara was a great host, making sure we had a great stay. My wife and I wait to book again.

Lovely place to stay , with gorgeous views as described. The hot tub was warm and ready for us on arrival. Llinos was available if we needed help with anything, he was also happy to help with recommendations for places to eat. We did struggle to work out which house it was on arrival despite the great descriptive instructions (perhaps that was just us!) but we worked it out in the end quite quickly , the post code was spot on to get us there and the locals were very friendly. The bathroom is really quite something else, love the arrangement and style. Great to have a welcome package on arrival just missing a couple of UHT milk cartons for a brew with the tea bags! The bed and bedding was super comfortable - in fact an other hour for checkout would have been bliss, but 10am is reasonable and expected at most places. Fantastic location for Zipworld - we had a great time on Velocity and would highly recommend. Thanks and would love to stay again!

I had a great stay in this lovely, cosy cottage. I loved how close it was to the station for trips up and down the beautiful Cambrian Coast, and how quiet it was given its proximity to the town. Being in a pedestrian area full of steps probably helped! I would absolutely come back if I am in Barmouth again.

Fantastic few days at The Lock House. Spotlessly clean and warm with the house equipped with everything you would need. Lovely peaceful location but also close enough to the local supermarket. Everything was also well thought out for our 4 legged guest too. Great to be able to walk straight out the front gate and onto the canal towpath for a leisurely walk. Had a lovely sunday lunch at The Nags Head too which we would recommend.

Having visited the town over the years, we were glad to be in such a convenient location. Vicki was very responsive and accommodating when organising logistics and once we were in the house there were no issues.

Lisa and Chris were great hosts, very responsive and gave clear instructions on directions to the cottage upon arriving. The cottage itself was very clean and cosy and we felt comfortable straight away, the 360 views round the cottage were beautiful Won’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks to Lisa & Chris. The location was wonderfully remote, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The log burner was a fantastic feature, especially on the colder evenings! Us and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful walks nearby, there were a few books/leaflets of things to do, including one book of valley walks - the one starting at Dolwyddelan train station was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil outdoors getaway!

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in and around Beaumaris but this is my now my favourite. The house is much bigger downstairs than it appears from the outside with several cosy couches throughout the property and it was lovely and warm. The beds were really comfortable with lovely crisp bedding. The whole house was decorated beautifully and felt like a home from home. Even though the weather wasn't good it was really nice having the outdoor space and this would be great in summer with bi-fold doors open. The Central Bakery was a 2 minute walk for fresh hot croissants and bread, the shops and restaurant were all a short walk. I managed to park close to the property throughout the stay. Hopefully next time I come to Beaumaris I will be able to stay here again!

So warm and comfy - great to come back to after a cycle along the lake. Exceptionally well equipped cottage with a fabulous cooker which even tempted me to cook a few meals. It’s very well heated and with the wood burner positively toasty even in February. The village is exceptionally friendly - I spent a lot of time chatting and everyone says hello. The lake is just down the road a great place to swim in a few months time. Philip was very helpful and friendly and always got back really quickly.

Lovely few days stay at this cosy little cottage in a nice peaceful location . Steve is a great host and very welcoming and informative about the area and local wildlife. First of all a very friendly and personable host. An ideal property for a couple Cosy lounge, very usable kitchen, spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and a good sized bedroom with comfortable bed.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne’s beautiful little cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—Anne had even lit the fire for our arrival. Her communication was proactive and very helpful, making everything smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—an easy walk into Ludlow, and just a short drive to the stunning Shropshire Hills for scenic walks. The cottage itself was well-equipped, dog-friendly, and had a lovely enclosed courtyard, so our dog could roam safely. A truly relaxing getaway—we’d love to return!

Had such a welcoming and warm stay at the cat view lodge ! There was lots to see and do, and the lodge itself was beautiful and very comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition in a beautiful garden area. Looking forward to coming again soon.

If you're looking for a cosy place to stay whilst escaping to the mountains, look no further. This is the perfect location to climb snowden and many other mountains. We also enjoyed going to zip world (great for a rainy day) and harlech beach. The cottage is super warm, especially with the fire going and nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed playing cards, lots of TV options. The bedroom is really spacious and the bed is comfy. Chris was very accommodating and answered any questions we had quickly. Great value for money.

A beautifully converted and spacious barn in a great location. Jane is the perfect host. I would highly recommend.

This is a great option at an affordable price! The house is in pristine condition, and the rooms are actually slightly larger than they look on the photos! The beds were comfortable, and the decor was great. Dewi was a fantastic host: responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!
