Lovely converted barn, located a short drive from buxton and ideal for exploring the peak district. Property exactly as described and how it looked on the pictures. Loved the hot tub and sauna, made for a very relaxing stay!

Everything about this place was perfect. Beautiful location & beautiful accomodation. Greeted on check in by Caroline, very friendly and helpful, showed us around the accomodation and were everything was. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, well equipped and everything so well thought out. The beds were exceptionally comfy also. Location very lovely and peaceful. Gorgeous welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely gesture. Thank you for a lovely stay.

10000% would recommend anyone to stay here. I booked this as a suprise for my partners 30th. And we were both blown away. Firstly surrounding areas are breathtaking. The check in process was super ease. And the yurt, oh my how do I even begin to explain how perfect this was. My partner was so so happy with this suprise. The hot tub was an amazing end to the trip Thank you so much to Amy we will definitely return again in the future

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth, including a delicious home-baked cake that made us feel instantly at home. The cottage itself is stunning, blending cozy charm with lovely decor and thoughtful touches throughout. The views are absolutely breathtaking—perfect for unwinding and taking in the scenery. The hot tub was an added luxury, allowing us to relax under the stars. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a personal touch.

Lovey cottage, even though located on a working farm it was so quiet and peaceful (which is just what we needed). Cottage was lovely, clean and cosy. We booked to walk the alpacas which was amazing. Host was really friendly and helpful. Would defiantly book again.

We had a lovely week at Wood View, it felt like a home away from home which was surprising as often dog friendly places can seem uninviting. Karen was a fabulous host and couldn’t do more for us. We will be back!

Elliott house was such a lovely stay. Instructions were clear and check in was super easy. It's in a lovely location and it was spotless clean too. There was a basket eith biscuits and teas/coffee on arrival and the heating was on so it was lovely a cosy (especially handy when it's - 1* outside) the parking is right outside too. We all loved it. With some comments from others with us that the photos online didn't do it justice! The hot tub was a great addition and an added bonus was feeding the animals with Vic too. I'm pretty sure that's a activity for the kids but we (a group of 7 adult women) absolutly loved it. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a lovely touch (and delicious) I'd recommend this place for frienda and family and it's jst as good for adults only as it would be for families with children. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We had a great stay over New Year at the barn. So peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The children in our family loved the animals we could see from the kitchen and living room. Plenty of space and flexibility with the option to have a twin room if we needed it. We all appreciated having our own bathrooms. Thank you for a very memorable stay!

We absolutely loved our stay. The barn is beautiful and quirky and was absolutely perfect for the four of us plus our dog for a long weekend walking in the Peaks. It is cleverly laid out and has everything you could possibly need plus a fab addition of a pizza stove on the wood burner. We made dough and had the best pizza's - a real highlight.

Jane communicated all we needed to know. Getting in to the property was easy. lovely bungalow, very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Good shower. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Local walks were fantastic, would definitely book again

Terry was very helpful and responsive. The Forge is very quaint, its clean but not pristine (decor is aging) but homely and comfortable. My parents found it a little difficult as the sofas are very low., and the downstairs bedroom option is only a sofa bed so wasn't suitable for them as I had hoped. But there was room for everyone and it was lovely and warm. Kitchen well stocked for Christmas cooking, although there are no numbers left on the cooker dials so that was a bit of guess work. The parking was a bit irritating as only one space at the cottage so loading and unloading of multiple cars was messy. Chinley is a fantastic location with lovely views, ample shops and pubs for all the basics and a nature reserve where you can let the dogs off lead. A great place for large families to come together to cook and eat together, various comfort levels for the beds which were basic, bathroom facilities very basic/dated. This large house was a Christmas Blessing to our family

Fantastic find, a mile from Matlock but feels like you are deep into the countryside. So quiet and peaceful, the cottage was everything you could need, spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. Shower is a bit cramped if you are over 5ft 8ins though :-) Lovely enclosed garden ideal for the dogs and the views across the dale are stunning Would love to return one day, highly recommend a visit

A perfect house for our family Christmas gathering of 5 families including 10 adults and 2 children and a toddler. The house had plenty of space for everyone to share but also 'do their own thing' with toys in one corner, table board games, food prep and chatting on the barstools, plus a large, comfortable sitting room for quieter times and Christmas games. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and plenty of bathrooms and loos so no one had to queue! Lots of room for all 5 cars to park outside. This is the best house we have stayed in so far for our continually extending family and we hope to come again in a different season and for longer so that we can enjoy more lovely walks from the doorstep in the glorious surroundings. Really great stay with partner and pooch. Maeve is a fantastic host, very kind, friendly and happy to offer suggestions. The cottage was lovely, really clean, cosy and warm. The guestbook had a lovely personal touch and gave lots of great info about local pubs, restaurants etc. Great location for Mam Tor (fun in the mud in January 😀) and a walk to castleton for food and a pint after!

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

It was my first time using Airbnb, and Izzy set a standard that others will find hard to beat. The cottage beautiful was well situated and with Izzy’s list of recommendation we had a great time. I’d definitely look to come back!

Really lovely place to stay quiet with amazing views! Not far from Ashbourne town centre where you can get all your essentials we really enjoyed using the swimming pool as well that was a bonus for us!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great place for a get together, pool was nice and warm and kids loved it. Also useful to have different cottages so everyone could get a nap or work done. Would recommend

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We had an amazing week here over Christmas. Very spacious, immaculately clean with great social spacing. Outside space also amazing, with your own hot tub, swim spa and shared sauna. All of these were used and enjoyed by my family. James has really thought of everything to make the house a home from home. We would definitely go back! We drove to Matlock a few times , just a 10 minute drive. Visited a few local pubs, and we had some lovely walks. When we checked out we stopped off at chatsworth house, had a lovely breakfast and admired the views! Definitely worth a visit! Stunning.

Fantastic and quaint two night stay for my Wife's 35th birthday. The Manners apartment was lovely and had Christmas decorations up including a tree. The entire grounds were decorated with amazing lights and the place just looked brilliant inside and out. Hot tub was lovely and it was clear which hot tubs were designated to which property. We made good use of the pool too which was great and booking was very easy. It is an 8 minute drive to Bakewell which is where we spent our day on Saturday. Did a nice 2hr hike followed by pub lunch. Our beagle Baxter had a great time and so did we! We were also offered later checkout which was a lovely touch.
