Holiday houses in Baggekärr

Tremendous Swedish countryside. A lovely home, spacious and well furnished. Superb view over to the lake and most of all a very kind and helpful host. Would love to come back!

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!

The location right on the lake and playground is great. The house is very modern and beautiful.

Great host! Very beautiful house! gives you a great vibe! the jacuzzi and sauna was perfect in this cold weather! it was fantastic! Christoffer is very responsive and understanding host! I hope to come back in the future to his lovely house!

We were really thrilled with our stay! The house was fantastically beautiful on a hill with a stunning view of the water – just perfect. The amenities were both modern and lovingly designed so we immediately felt at home. Especially the beds were super comfortable, and also the wifi was impeccable. Directly from the house we could take wonderful hikes – the landscape was simply magical and reminded of a fairytale. Our host, Lisa, was incredibly friendly and always responded immediately to our questions which made the stay even more enjoyable. The small, charming village of Askersund was just 15 minutes away by car and perfect for a relaxing stroll. There was great shopping and cute cafes where we could enjoy the time. All in all it was a perfect holiday! Thank you for this unforgettable time!

Great place to stay. Super nice host couple. Great apartment. Cozy decorated, clean and nice. All the amenities you can wish for. Quiet and nice. Highly recommended!

We felt comfortable in the home of Lina and her family from the first moment - partly because of her cat, which we were allowed to take care of during our visit. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and cozy with a super great view of the lake. As a highlight, you can also mention the great, wood-heated sauna, which also allows a great view of the lake. All in all we had a wonderful stay, the communication with Lina was extremely friendly and we would come back any time.
