Very nice apartment. Clean and warm. Looked just like the pictures. 10-15 minute walk to Princes Street. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a wondeful weekend in Edinburgh and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is ideal, close enough to the main sites, but still private and quiet. Paul left some essentials in the apartment, which was much appreciated. The apartment felt bigger than on the pictures and had great touches, from original features to modernised fixtures.

Our stay at the Rock House was just as magical as we had hoped! The decor was as lovely as the photos and it had all the historic charm of its age combined with modern convenience and an incredible location. Furnishings were comfortable as well as beautiful. The historic photos, prints, and books around the house added charming interest. After exploring Edinburgh each day, we loved slipping behind the locked gate and coming home to our gorgeous cottage and enchanting garden tucked away in the middle of everything. We could not stop looking at the amazing views from every window -- it was worth every penny saved and each step climbed to reach this fantastic home. It was absolutely wonderful and we would not hesitate to return!

Beautiful and very spacious appartement with direct access to the beach. We very much enjoyed walking on the beach and exploring the charming region with highlights such as St. Andrews, Crail, St. Monans, Anstruther, Falkland, Dumfernline, which are all close by. Only 1 hour from Edinburgh Airport. Shona is a very attentive and kind host and she provided us impressively quickly with wood, torches, candles and power banks after a power cut in the town, thereby contributing to a romantic evening before the fireplace. We would definitely come back another time.

Fantastic stay, excellent location walking distance to Edinburgh Castle, Calton hill, Royle mile, Grass market location lovely pubs and restaurants nearby. Apartment was very comfortable and clean, Gavin the host was very helpful and very responsive.

My group and I had a lovely time at Mary's place! The caravan is very cozy and is just a short walk to a bus stop that takes you to Edinburgh proper. We loved having easy access to the city while also getting to Escape to a quieter area with such beautiful scenery. Mary is aso incredibly kind and responsive. When my group came up against unforseen circumstances, she was very caring, communicative, and helpful. A wonderful host and sweet place to stay!

We had a great stay, very clean & cosy! facilities were great we had everything we needed for our stay including games which were great entertainment for us after a long day exploring the city. Great location, will definitely be staying again. Thanks!
