This stay inFinland for the Christmas holidays will remain etched in the memory of our little family and especially thanks to Tiina's beautiful family cottage. What could be better than feeling like home... It was the case in this house. Everything is there for a very nice time. The host is very available and responsive. The flexible arrival with Tiina's charming mom who awaits us warmly. From the first minutes to the start, you can feel good. The beds are comfortable, all the necessary equipment is lá and even more. It really feels like home. The must....the traditional sauna (and like the snow arrived at the same time as us0 with the traditional diving in the snow that follows. What beautiful things to say. Tranquility being a little out of town but in the lilieu of wonderful forested and snowy landscapes. Go with confidence you will not regret this authentic approach to Finland.... Thanks again to Tiina and her mom.

Incredible location, peaceful surroundings and easy access to northern lights views. We felt the mix of Scandinavian taste and feminine energy in the place which made it beautiful, cozy and made us feel right at home. Absolute recommendation! The House was very welcoming, lots of Christmas lights on. All feature/stuff available which you have at home as well, even Sandwichtoaster/ wafflemaker. We felt at home 2300 miles away. 100% recommendable

The house and location combination are extraordinary. The whole location was pitch perfect with snow covered trees north northern lights, and a frozen river in the background. The perfect Christmas setting. The house is also super well equipped and beautifully warm.

Incredibly beautiful location. Peaceful and scenic. The cottage is simple (as advertised: no electricity or running water) but cosy & has everything one needs. Would gladly return.

Our visit during the swedish winter was beautiful. Thanks to Mikaels hints we even saw the northern lights on our first evening. The house is quite isloated, very quiet and great if you are looking for a retreat. Despite this, mobile data is easily available. Amenities like a Sauna and sea access are readily available. The hosts where also very accomodating. They reacted quickly to all questions and even picked us up from the train in Lulea. All in all a very big recommendation to experience swedish Lappland!

It’s the perfect spot for a family or group getaway, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the lake and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. We loved sitting on the patio, taking in the peaceful views, and using the barbecue for some unforgettable meals. The large sauna in the basement was a highlight after days spent exploring the nearby trails and the snowmobile routes—it was such a relaxing way to unwind. The host was fantastic, providing everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. From clear communication to thoughtful recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Would love to come back!
