Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Awatere Valley

Karen's place was prefect with our family of 4 (kids aged 4 and 1.5 years)! it felt like a home away from home, so comfortable and spacious and there was even toys and books for our young kids which they loved. Kitchenette was all we needed for our stay. Really is perfect location in walking distance to Richmond centre and great for a 15-30min bike into stoke and nelson. Definately would be staying here again!

Fiona’s place was simply perfect. It was beautiful , clean, and right on the water. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. The apartment had every amenity you could possibly want, including toys and books that our kids loved. Fiona was an incredible host, she was home during our stay, introduced herself and gave us local recommendations. She was so friendly and our kids loved her and her 2 charming dogs! This was the perfect location to explore kaikoura, in walking distance from both the downtown shops and dining in the north bay and the seal colony and walk along the South Bay. The stay was one of the nicest and cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. We would love to stay here again and would 100% recommend it.

Very nice place, clean and modern. The host was helpful and gave us clean towels every day. The kitchen is a little small for a longer stay but still functional.

Traditional old fashioned motel accommodation with a newly renovated bathroom- fabulous hot shower with superb pressure. The room was as you would expect in a motel, not big, but a comfy bed and small workable kitchen. Nice laundry and playground on site. Staff were all friendly and Donald was especially nice to stop and chat a minute to give good local advice on directions and restaurants.

Had the best stay, the place is modern and clean with the best views of the ocean and mountains.

We stayed for 2 nights. Lovely space, comfortable bed. The kitchen has everything you need. We were able to do laundry. Beautiful backyard and very friendly dogs.

Very spacious home with everything we needed. Spectacular mountain views made even more stunning by the snow that fell during the first night we were there. Great to have wood stove which we used the first morning we awoke because the temperature had dipped to 12c! Lots of extra blankets in the hall cupboard for which we were most grateful. Too bad we booked only two nights - certainly worth a longer stay (and, due to the size of the house, with more people!) Highly recommend Gerhard’s place.

Elizabeth was a great hostess. All communication was timely. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. The toys were a big bonus for our grandson.

Ryan and Ania were excellent hosts and their house exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly clean, loaded with every amenity we needed, and a very close walk to the center of town. The garage game room was a fun bonus. We loved our stay and hope to return the next time our travels bring us to Hanmer Springs.

A large comfortable house for a group. Lovely sunny courtyard for the afternoon and evening. Great to have three bathrooms. And the table tennis was a hit!

After getting stuck in the area following a crash 15mins up the road, Jane was kind enough to let us book her Airbnb the same day. Jane is so responsive and the Airbnb was beautiful. It was so comfortable and clean, the road was quiet with plenty of space to park, there are some lovely restaurants 5mins down the road and it’s definitely one we will be saving to stay at again. Thank you Jane!

Jessica’s house was in an excellent location. Walkable distance to shops and cafes. The house was well appointed and spotlessly clean. There were plenty of pantry items, fresh bread, fruit bowl and home made choc chip cookies.

This place had everything as listed - place was even more spacious and inviting than the photos show! Super friendly and responsive host, spotless place with plenty of room for a group booking. Went down with my family for a wedding and would stay again in a heart beat!! The morning views with your coffee in hand were a highlight!

Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. Spacious and clean with floor to ceiling windows and great views. Only concern was the lack of air conditioning. We were there during a period of beautiful weather in the high 70s and the house was uncomfortably hot in the late afternoon and evening. Fans are provided in the bedrooms which helped at night. Otherwise the house and location were perfect for our family of three adults.
