From the moment we arrived we knew we’d booked the right house for our family get together, it was perfect with a lovely enclosed garden making it safe for dogs and our granddaughter. It was in our very favourite part of Aviemore and we loved everything about our stay. Sarah was super helpful and always responded to any questions I had. We’d totally recommend The Squirrels and would love to stay again.

Andrea and Steven’s home in Culloden is a fantastic base for anyone exploring Inverness and the surrounding areas of Scotland. The location is both safe and incredibly convenient, with a Tesco Extra just a stone’s throw away. Additionally, the property is ideally situated for easy access to major tourist attractions such as Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness, and the stunning Highlands. The home itself is comfortable, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and accessibility to Scotland’s most iconic sites, this is it. Highly recommended!

Perfect little base for our family trip to Inverness. The enclosed garden was a real plus for our dog. The area was lovely and peaceful for sleeping baby while being a convenient drive for everything we wanted to do in town. Just what we wanted!

Wee House is a great place to stay, well equipped, very cosy especially with the log burner (logs and kindling all supplied), and a comfy king-size bed. A number of books, maps, walk suggestions were all in the house. Heather has included so many little extras and excellent instructions for everything, and the 'goodies' in the kitchen and fridge were very much welcomed. We arrived late at night and in not great weather, and Heather had gone before us to unlock the property so we wouldn't have to fumble in the dark and sleet for the key box. Very much appreciated. Even though this was January, there was a lot to do in the area although not enough snow for skiing... but not Heather's fault!!! Some great walks, even in the snow, lovely eating places.. Cairngorm Hotel did a very tasty Burns meal. All in all a great stay that we wished could have been longer.

The place was wonderful for our purposes (i.e. celebrating our daughters 30th birthday with the entire family). It is a spacious place which was well equipped and clean. The location was fine and the weather excellent if cold. The check in time was brought forward by a few hours to suit us and the jacuzzi was ready when we arrived. Gillian was responsive to our requests.

We had a lovely short stay at zippididoda house. It is an incredible home that is much bigger than it appears! Everything was very clean and the large hamper filled with essentials and treats was a lovely welcome. George’s communication was excellent. The view from the back of the house is just incredible. The photos don’t do it justice. Would definitely consider staying here again :)

House is great location can see the river, Airbnb has all amenities for a great stay. House is so cozy it’s really home away from home. Just was very helpful and had a lovely time in Inverness

We had a wonderful time. The house and grounds were beautiful! The view was AMAZING! Helen and Mike were very quick to respond and very helpful. We were greeted with fresh garden flowers, milk, butter, coffee, tea and biscuits. Lots of little extras to make you feel at home! Would absolutely recommend this place!

Agnes and Ania were very warm and welcoming. I booked last minute as my previous accommodation had fell through. After an hour of booking I was able to check in. They directed me how to enter the property using a code for the lock box and even gave me advice of where to park. The apartment was beautiful, warm and very clean. My daughter and her friend loved that they had breakfast provided and of course Netflix. Property is located near a beauty salon so the next morning I booked myself for a treatment. Was a haven away from home. Thank you!

A lovely apartment. We spent a weekend in late January so the weather was atrocious but we had a nice stay. I think it would be a pretty spot in Summer overlooking the marina.

Wow is all we can say! Having recently stayed in 9 locations during our family travels, this was by far the best thought out, and best presented residence. Felt right at home in the comfy unit, and the host had provided a thoughtful arrangement of things we would need. Spotlessly prepared and a credit to the host! Always communicative and pleasant interaction.

Suz’s place is perfectly located in Inverness to see the city center. Parking and entry into the flat is super easy. Suz left a ton of personal touches like breakfast and fresh fruit. The space was the perfect size for my husband and I and the bed was so comfy. We were so comfortable during our stay and easy navigated the city on foot. Suz was responsive, kind, and very helpful.

Great midway location between Clava Cairn, Loch Ness, Inverness and Fairy Glen. Cozy, homey and sweet two bedroom. Very clean and appliances easy to use. Free private parking. Great place to stay and would recommend.

We had a great stay at Inverness at Rodjana & Ann’s place! The flat looks exactly as the pictures and was clean and well-stocked. I initially had some trouble finding the key box but Rodjana & Ann were super responsive and helped me out immediately. When I discovered a broken handle on the washer and lightbulb in one of the lamps, they sent a staff to look into the problem and fixed it the next day. The beds are super comfortable and we had a fun time cooking at the kitchen. The location was also great - we could easily walk to downtown and access train station, shops and restaurants.

We spent 3 nights at Fraser's place and it was perfect for us. Very warm and cozy, good bed, great WiFi, good kitchen, small but practical bathroom, parking space. All good! Would recommend!

Very easy to find, and normally straight forward to get parked. Small, cosy studio but it has absolutely everything you need. 10 seconds walk to Crofters, which does wonderful food all day long. The window views are immaculate. It can be a wee bit noisy due to the cafe with lots of activity, but that’s to be expected when you’re in such close proximity. We’ll be back.

Stephen place was welcoming and just what I wanted. It was comfortable and had everything i needed. Very close to high street and within easy walk to beach. If i ever visit again I would use this property again.

Really great location, private building with a 5 minute walk into town, really clean all throughout the house, will definitely be staying again and I recommended others to stay if you are looking to stay in aviemore.
