our original booked room had water damage inside but the staff was kind to transfer us to a different room. bathroom has a heater which was super helpful bc the weather was chilly. the place was very easy to find, whether you walk or take the tricycle. location was very near city proper and other establishments, while the beach is a tricycle ride away (but it was under rehab after super typhoon pepito). overall, it's a good area to experience history. it's like a mini manila

It was our second time staying here and we loved it as much as the first time. We had such great sleep that we almost spent most of our days in bed. A lot of the spots to hang out, eat, or drink are within walking distance which is always a plus. My friends and I are looking forward to coming back 😊

Kathleen’s house is large and clean and a five minute walk to the port and the village. The air con is only in the bedroom so it is hot in the living area. We had trouble finding the house so the best directions are when you reach the Paltic community hall turn left. It is the third house on the left

Samboy is good and accomodating host. Since we checked in earlier, he let us use 1 of his open cottages near the pool.area for us to have lunch and rest while.waiting for the other guest to check out...the room is big, ideal for family or tropahan of 6-8. Hot and/or cold potable water is always availble....his home is near to almost all the attractions in baler, around 10-20 min drive as well as the public market...overall, our stay in Baler is so much comfortable because we stayed in his place.

After a very long travel, Rodel's place was truly amazing. Anyone who is looking for a peaceful and quiet surroundings should definitely book the place. For me, the only thing that I would recommend is that there are sunbathing chairs for swimmers and for the swimming pool to have heaters - especially during night swimming. Overall, we were the only ones booking that day so we enjoyed the place ourselves. The caretaker also made sure that we made our stay comfortable. Will definitely go back again!!

Jessie is a great host as he is very sociable, warm, generous and hospitable! We highly recommend his place to those who want a peaceful stay and a scenic view of the mountains. We loved that they are a pet-friendly place and very patient with us when our dogs played around. The place is spotless and has an esthetic bathroom; it also has an amazing bonsai garden. He also owns a coffee shop in Ermita Hill, he serves affordable unique drinks such as Baler Sunrise Tea and Peanut Butter Coffee Blend which we also highly recommend! Try it, you will never regret it! PS: Thanks so much for the free coffee, cookies and very delicious laksa! I hope the next time we visit your restaurant with laksa on the menu is up and running.

If you are looking for a serene, peaceful and relaxing place in Baler, this place is the best choice! We stayed for two nights and we really couldn’t stop planning for our next trip already! We will surely come back, with our whole family 😁 The room is spacious enough for two people, AC’s working well and water pressure was stable. One thing though; I hope you can put some rack to hang clothes. Thank you and see you again soon!

The place was gorgeous. A little bit older but the classic feels stands out. Cons: Needs newer linens and bedsheets . Loud /old AC in the Master's. TV in the Master's is not working , Lampshade's bulb is not working .One bedroom's A/C did'nt work. The Map is not accurate in the Air BnB app. Karaoke machine didnt work well .Beach was a bit dirty Pros: The host is so responsive, Kitchen is very beautiful and classy, Front and back porch has classy furnitures , Pool is spectacular, Koi pond and garden is very beautiful , Free Welcome coffee and Suman( Delicacy) on the area. Fee steps away from the beach .We were able to have coffee in the morning together while watching the sunrise . Frw meters away from the Surfing area. Surfing lessons is available few feets away. Flexible check out time. Caretaker is living on the area . To sum up . More pros than cons! Book this place. You don't regret it! Worth every penny.
