Cabin holiday rentals in Auckland

We had a fabulous stay at Pinki’s cabin! The sunsets were AMAZING and the tranquility of the location something special. Great place from which to explore Karekare and piha as well as just relax on the deck. The cabin was perfectly set up for 2 people. Outdoor shower a real plus too. Only thing I would do differently next time would be to bring some mosquito coils and/or plug-in diffuser to help keep the bugs out of the cabin in the evening. And, if the weather is forecasted to be warm overnight, an electric fan. We would highly recommend Pinki’s place for your next stay!

This honestly has been my very best BnB experience. Stunning location, beautifully positioned, warm cozy accommodation, great outdoor area and incredible views. Hosts were like friends I’d not met before. They showed and detailed the area from a locals perspective. So tentative and genuine. I’ll definitely be returning…

Whhhhhat a place! The fire pit, the tub outside, the sunset over the hills, the comfortable bed and stunning bathroom with waterfall shower! Incredible place, saving for the future!

Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

Had a very chill holiday even when it was raining. The host gave clear instructions about checking in. The place is pretty much complete already so we didnt get bored at all even when we just stayed home. The view’s stunning and very relaxing.

Great little spot and fantastic that we could bring our dog. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Full sky tv was a novelty and much appreciated. Great escape from the rat race.

Beautiful place to stay, we had the most relaxing time away and loved Mangawhai. Such a cute and cozy cabin, such a neat idea for an airbnb. Highly recommend!!

Maybe one of the best views in the area, The location is really good. You don't really notice the road because you can't see it and it is below you. You are lined up with the public roadside overview, which also doesn't intrude on the space, it's private, but it means you have an amazing view. indoor outdoor living, I really liked it, but am used to cabin living. It's a bach, a bit quirky. You cook outdoors, which could be challenging if it were raining. Altogether I found it to be a very pleasant place.

We enjoyed our stay. Cosy accommodation with everything we needed. Also a great spot - close to town, the marina and the beach. Shane is a super helpful and responsive host!

Had the most lovely time staying in Lee and Terry’s tiny home! The space is gorgeous and resides in an orchard (which the hosts were so generous with sharing!) Would recommend to any duo wanting to check out the coromandel peninsula:)

Lovely hill side accomodation with a view over the valley. Watching the sunset was stunning! The large comfortable bed made for a good nights sleep and the large shower was incredible! Highly recommend!

Perfect place for what we were after & very clean. Might pay to bring a 4WD for the driveway during the wetter months - outstanding view from up high.

The accommodations and property were exceptional-beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail added to the comfort and charm of our stay. Carolynn and Alan are wonderful hosts. Very responsive, looks after you very well and never misses to give us guidance and tips for local activities that are happening. instructions are precise and very hands on on extending help. the place is well mentained, location is peacefully and proximity is within 5 minutes drive in all directions to the town, activities and sceneries. would book them again.

Loved stylish studio & indoor-outdoor flow, location & tranquil setting. Lovely bthrm products! Neat coffee machine & pods, albeit, I never took the time to figure out how to use. The only downside; When I was preparing for bed, I noticed small faded stain spots on the bottom sheet which prompted me to inspect the rest of the bedding. Upon lifting the bottom sheet partially to avoid messing up bed & having to make bed up again, I found an unacceptable amount of hairs, indicating that the mattress protector had not been washed and changed. While the sheets initially appeared clean, this raised concerns for me to inspect further. Cleanliness/hygiene/comfort, especially re bedding, is very important to me. I believe that thorough inspections prior to guest arrivals are crucial, particularly if cleaning services are employed. The lovely hosts remade bed the next day. The linen & cotton fibres didn't feel soft against my skin, felt a wee bit scratchy. Other than that, it was a great stay!

We were instantly at home in this lovely little cabin. Everything we needed was available including a very well organized/stocked kitchen. I have a background in natural nutrition and really appreciated the homemade yoghurt and sourdough. It was the best I have ever had. The fresh fruits were grown right on the property. It is a truly idyllic spot amongst the native plants, birds and farm animals nearby. I can’t say enough. I managed to do some yoga out on the deck went to the beach and met a Captain Cook pig in the same day! Feeling grateful for the chance to stay here. With a full heart we are headed home.

The view is outstanding! We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching the sun rise. The stars are incredible here! Thank you Maureen for all the extra touches that made this stay so special. We loved the continental breakfast and appreciated the bar of chocolate! The bed was really comfortable and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended
