Perfect to stay over Christmas, a short distance from family. The house was warm, clean, spacious, dog friendly and the parking space proved handy. The house is on a main road which didn't bother us at all. Chantelle kindly left us a welcome pack including Christmas treats and she had put up a Christmas tree so it felt festive. I'm sure I'll be back as it's a great place to stay with a dog. Oh, and I found the double bed really comfy!

We had an excellent family get together here. Plenty of space and the house has all the amenities you could need. Great location for exploring Bakewell and surrounding area. Ben was an excellent host.

We had a amazing weekend really didn’t want to leave , host were always helpful if message when coming home they put heating which was fantastic, son lived the garden with the trampoline and slide would definitely visit again thanks Robbie

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rona's place!! It was roomy, comfortable, quiet and excellent value for money. Lots of room in the halls for our luggage and coats on arrival and leaving, a comfortable lounge, and a very practical and well kitted out kitchen, with a door leading to a lovely back garden. The children LOVED the games room, and spent a lot of time in there. They also LOVED their special bedroom, which made them feel safe and homely! Our bedrooms were comfortable and well equipped furniture-wise! I loved the positive words on the mirrors!! Not a single creaky floorboard in this lovely older style house! A choice of bathrooms: traditional with a bath, or a wonderful modern spacious walk-in shower/shower room. Sudbury is quiet and pretty, with lovely older architecture, and the wonderful Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood just 5 minutes walk from Rona's! There's a handy coffee shop there!! I loved Rona's special shop next door too!! ~Thank you Rona!!

Pear Tree House was a delight. Beautiful, clean, cosy accommodation - the pictures do not do it justice! Tastefully decorated and well stocked, perfect for our get together - everyone was amazed! Our hosts were communicative and super helpful and organised the rooms for lots of single sleepers. Kitchen had lots of cultlery/utensils, crockery and glasswear - often overlooked by other Air BnBs. The Coffee Maker was a hit! The Living room was cosy and using the Smart TV was a breeze. The Bedrooms were well stocked with space for clothes, additional charging cables and side tables! The showers were lovely and hot and lots of lovely extra touches were provided which really made the stay easy, homely and comfortable. Lots of additional information was left to help us, all the amenities and facilities worked brilliantly and there is plenty of parking! It is easily one of the best stays I have ever had! I would highly recommend for families, couples get aways or friends catching up.

This was such a lovely cottage in a great little village with so many walks available to go with our dog. Every item in the cottage was quality from the crockery to the bed linen and towels. Everything had such a nice touch. A welcome basket was much appreciated and had sweet treats for us and for the dog too. All coffee milk and other basics were all provided too. Would recommend to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to come back in future.

Our family catch-up of three generations was wonderful at this beautiful and tranquil Coach house. The hosts were away but couldn’t do enough for us. The use of the pool, sauna and tennis court was incredible. Walking the stunning grounds and being able to walk into the forest was another plus. So many lovely treats were left for us, I think this is the best place we have stayed at, 100% perfect!

I loved spending Christmas at this caravan. It was beautifully warm and cosy in a gorgeous location with lots of excellent walking routes. Lovely hosts make you feel so welcome too.

It was my first time using Airbnb, and Izzy set a standard that others will find hard to beat. The cottage beautiful was well situated and with Izzy’s list of recommendation we had a great time. I’d definitely look to come back!

Great place in a lovely location. Only 5 minutes from Bakewell but felt beautifully peaceful. House was lovely and kitchen was well equipped. Pool and games facilities were also a great addition. Thanks for a lovely stay

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

We stayed as a 6 for New Years Eve and had a great time at Simon’s place! The apartment is very roomy, has everything you need and is more than comfortable. The roof terrace is a fantastic space and would be amazing on a summers day! We had a great time and couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would definitely recommend and will definitely book again! ☺️

We had an amazing week here over Christmas. Very spacious, immaculately clean with great social spacing. Outside space also amazing, with your own hot tub, swim spa and shared sauna. All of these were used and enjoyed by my family. James has really thought of everything to make the house a home from home. We would definitely go back! We drove to Matlock a few times , just a 10 minute drive. Visited a few local pubs, and we had some lovely walks. When we checked out we stopped off at chatsworth house, had a lovely breakfast and admired the views! Definitely worth a visit! Stunning.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Emma's place was perfect for my 2 night stay. It was comfortable, warm, clean and secure. I slept like a baby here! I was on a training weekend in Derby so the location of Emma's place was ideal for me. My dog settled well in the house too.

Our party of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped and the lounge very cosy, with enough comfy seating for us all. Youlgreave is a beautiful village with many options for walks directly from the house. Communication with Simon and Jen was excellent and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a great base from which to explore this beautiful area.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Dore. It’s a lovely, quiet family home with plenty of space, perfect for relaxing. The house was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The peaceful surroundings and tidy environment made it a perfect retreat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a spacious and tranquil place to stay!

Debbie and Simon made the process of booking, checkng in and our stay really easy. Lovely peaceful location - we stayed for a family wedding and felt right at home for our couple of nights. Kitchen was particulalry well equipped with a good collection of the bits you forget to bring (e.g. tin foil, tea coffee milk etc.) Would recommend. Finally to clarify a couple of points from prior reviews: - plenty of hot water - heating (electric, plus a wood burner) worked fine.

Such great value for money, a beautiful property with great views. Was left with a few snacks and a small bottle of wine on arrival, which we greatly appreciated. Property was exactly as described, and we visited a pub called “the dog” for food and it was incredible, I would definitely recommend! A TV outside that swivels towards the hot tub so you can watch it whilst in there! Hot tub also has Bluetooth to play music. Ping pong table was a lot of fun. Luke was very helpful and friendly. When we messaged him about topping up the hot tub, he rang us within minutes to advise how to do so and offered to come do it for us if we wanted him too, but there was no need as we managed to sort ourselves. We will definitely be back some time! Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
