Banana Eco Farm Homestay

10/10 solo traveler experience. Above and beyond is the exact address where the Banana Farm is located. Great, careful drivers made coming and going easy. There is no way you will go hungry when breakfast and dinner are the freshest food possible. I never had such large healthy portions and so lovingly cooked anywhere. More than a dozen things to do, a karibu welcome from every person you pass at this sustainable village, and someplace to sit alone or with other travelers, this destination is a real rest cure. Repeat visitors were there for extended stays and already I have planned for my family to come here. So much to learn and absorb, clean floors and facilities, and hardworking hosts made me feel so at home. It was like I was being treated specially even though every guest was given the utmost hospitality and warmth. Saturday night's movie under the stars was a highlight, as well as the traditional cooking class. I had to leave and return and I'm on my way back tonight!

Gerald, his family and collaborators are all very friendly and welcoming. All were very attentive to organize our stay as best as possible. We spent 2 unforgettable weeks thanks to them. Gerald's home is great with creativity. The one he finishes building will be extraordinary! To top it all off: The kitchen is delicious and varied.

Wonderful cosy apartment in the pure nature of Arusha with view on the river. We were lucky to be hosted during Christmas and the host was super responsive and helpful even during the Christmas days. The apartment is surrounded by green nature and has African interior Charme. We would definitely come back, I have to highlight the flexibility of the host it was exceptional.

Olais was a wonderful host, and I felt incredibly comfortable in his Airbnb. It was always such a pleasure to return to the apartment—it felt like a home away from home. A lovely lady also took care of my laundry and was always incredibly kind and helpful. The apartment itself is beautifully designed with stylish decor and has everything one might need for a comfortable stay. The location is good, with easy access to the city via Bold or a Dalla Dalla, making it very convenient to get around. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded my expectations. It’s well-equipped, cozy, and in a great location. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay!

A beautiful house with a beautiful garden, in a quiet village. Half an hour walk to Tengeru/the main road. Nice communication with Maria ( thanks for the flexibility when our son was sick). And a very friendly gardener.

A great value for money self-contained apartment. Quiet, peaceful, private and clean. Monica was friendly, helpful and instructive. Hard to find at first as the room is hidden behind a secure gate in a back alley, but the location sent was accurate. The apartment is also on the ground floor with space outside to sit, making it easy to enter and comfortable. Asante sana Monica.

Lavender House is beautiful, lush surrounding, homely with cosy insides. Lovely rosemary bush outside for some good tea. Is part of a coffee estate so if you happen to catch the sunrise as you prepare breakfast you're in for a treat.

Monica is super cool! She is always willing to help you! Because she is a tourism agent, Monica sold me a tour to Ngorongoro that was wonderful. It was cheaper in comparison to other places. The studio is comfortable and it is located around 20 minutes away from the center of the city.
