Our stay was absolutely magical! Maria, our host, radiates authenticity and boundless kindness. My almost 3-year-old daughter, who usually takes a while to warm up to new people, connected with Maria in under two minutes! The accommodation was spotless—so clean we could have eaten off the floor! We wholeheartedly recommend this place without hesitation!

Marina is a lovely and very responsive host. The house is beautiful, perfectly true to the photos. A little piece of heaven to recharge and visit the surrounding villages.

10/10. We would definitely visit again! This place is why AirBnB exists. Jose and Cecilia were very welcoming and made sure we felt right at home in the unit and in the mountain community. The views are truly unforgettable and peaceful. The house is thoughtfully stocked, so that you could eat in or out (whatever you prefer). Wifi and AC/ heater were both strong. Don’t hesitate to book.

6 people stayed together and were very satisfied. Everything was well equipped, including the barbecue facilities, room conditions, and bathroom. Quick communication is also an advantage. Thanks to the host's immediate response, I was able to relax and enjoy it!

Marli was so kind and hospitable! She greeted us from the roadside to help us locate the AirBnb, provided a corn bread and olive oil snack for our arrival, and was very thorough with her tour of the apartment. The space was impeccably clean and well organized, not to mention the beautiful terrace views. Highly recommend staying here. At her recommendation, my partner and I had a bbq dinner at the restaurant right beside the apartment and it was fantastic and extremely well priced.

Nestled in wine territory, with a 5 minute drive up winding roads to the top of the hillside in Folgosa, the home gave spectacular views of the Douro Valley! Mimi recommended restauants, wineries and other areas of interest which we found extremely helpful. All the recommendations were exactly as she described and all were fabulous. We enjoyed the fact that home's location was within 20 -30 minute of Lamego, Peso da Regua & Pinhao which allowed us day trips. Then back to the lanai for sitting by the pool, watching sunsets and drinking wine!

We stayed a few days for 4 adults, the accommodation is very nice with its 2 suites, the 2 bedrooms have 2 separate entrances with an airlock where each shower room is located and a large closet. Very quiet accommodation, the only noises heard are a few cars (normal, accommodation located in the heart of a village) and the nice sound of the church (the accommodation is right next door, the church emits a small music before ringing the hours from 6:00 am to 9:00 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.). We would recommend this listing without worry with a very friendly owner.

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!
