This year we decided instead of Christmas presents we would go away as a family. So off all 18 of us went to Fiddlestone Lodge. The venue was perfect for us all as it felt like a home from home. Set inside a forest park the setting was beautiful and host Nick was just a message away. Home is beautiful and very clean and everyone felt relaxed. It’s an ideal setting for exploring also. Had a lovely relaxing and very enjoyable few days at Duffy lodge. The accommodation was just perfect it’s was spotless, had everything you needed and more eg plenty of towels, toiletries, tea/coffee. Deirdre was just amazing so friendly and accommodating and went over and beyond. She had fresh bread, milk, butter, eggs in fridge for us when we arrived. She made the most amazing scones which were absolutely delicious. We felt very at home and loved that our 2 dogs were very welcome also. We would highly recommend Duffy Lodge and will definitely be back again at some stage. Thank you Deirdre so much. Paddy, Pauline and Aisling xx

Annual staycation with the doggos which calls for dog friendly accomodation. The house was in a great location beside Kennigar Beach good for the early morning dog walks or a dip in the sea (if that's your thing). good for a base while out sight seeing or just a short walk i to the town for a few drinks and some food.

A lovely stay which suited perfectly. The home was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. With plenty of space outside this was ideal for the good weather. The only issue was it was originally listed as having a hotub available at a small extra fee. Katie did contact to say this was no longer available but she didn't get my reply asking for clarification as the hot tub was listed. I'd replied to the airbnb text which I assumed got to her. Everything else was as described

Just back from a lovely 3 night stay in Christine's place. Christine met us at the house to show us around and explain everything. She had a lovely welcome basket which even had Easter eggs for the children which was so thoughtful. The place was spotless clean and very well equipped. It's a warm and cozy home and the enclosed garden was brilliant for the children. She was very easy to contact throughout our stay. It was one of the best airBNBs we have stayed in and look forward to returning.

This place is a gem. The view and area are breathtaking. The house feels like a family home and we were instantly comfortable. We were traveling with our family, which were a group of 10, and we were very comfortable. The view out the kitchen window will have you wanting to do dishes all morning. Instructions for everything and and easy check out process. Rathmullen has a great restaurant 10 minutes down the road. There is also some great sights like the lighthouse 30 minutes away and The Way of the Cross. Letterkenny is 30 minutes away for shopping, eating out and any other need you have. We will never forget our special time here, and neither will you.

Sinead was an excellent host, helpful, responsive and friendly. The location is simply stunning. The house was beautiful. It was modern and the best thing is that it is spacious. We were a big family and booked 2 houses and there was so much space in the rooms but also in the living areas.The kitchen was really well stocked. It was the perfect find for us. It is on a hill with stunning views. The only problem was that we did not stay long enough - would love if our logistics allowed us to stay for more than 3 nights. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Would love to return. x
