We had a wonderful time at Emanuels place. He was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations and showing how everything worked. The view from his place is incredible. We spent almost every evening on the terrace, enjoying the view of the ocean and Ribeira Brava. What a wonderful place! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

We loved our stay! The house is surrounded by mountains so you can have breakfast looking at waterfalls from your balcony. Every question was answered within minutes! Highly recommended.

the house is great, we loved it, Carlos very attentive. really beautiful and peaceful. the only thing was that I charge us a tourist fee that no other airbnb charges us, and also charges the jacuzzi outside the price of the house and this I did not see it clear in the description. have an additional 60 euros budget for approx 5 nights. important to know that it asks for several cleaning things for the departure, such as cleaning bbq, towels and sheets in the apartment, nothing serious but to have it in mind.

Team at Casas de Pedro makes every effort for comfort of their guests. Self Catering breakfast provided daily fresh bread, fruits cheese, and deli meats. Very delicious. Architecture of cottage was beautiful of restored original construction and complimentary style addition. Camelia is a wonderful, restful and rehabilitating escape for a couple.

Amazing house, very peaceful!!

We had a pleasant stay in this spacious accommodation, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the facilities. The pool was a real plus, perfect for refreshing and relaxing. The owner was very responsive and quickly responded to all of our requests, which was very appreciated. However, there are a few downsides to highlight. The bed was very noisy, and the slightest movement made him squeaky, disrupting the other occupant's sleep. Another aspect that disappointed us was the occupancy tax request to be paid in cash on the spot, without any proof of payment. We found this to be unusual and unsafe, so we refused to pay this way. It would be best for this tax to be included in the price when booking on Airbnb, for more transparency and safety.

We had a great stay in Madeira and were very satisfied with the place. The parking is admitted, as mentioned in previous reviews, not for beginners. But there is also parking on the street, about 50 m further up. From the parking lot to the property you have to walk some stairs, which did not disturb us. You should only keep this in mind if you have large suitcases and a lot of luggage. The place was clean and well appointed. The terrace with the sea view and sunset view was our highlight! A few minutes away by car there is everything for everyday needs and even a sandy beach, which is quite special in Madeira.

A Dream Come True in Porto Moniz! Staying at the Monte Chalet was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the charm and serenity of this beautiful rural retreat. The chalet is nestled in a magical location surrounded by breathtaking nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The house itself was everything we could have wished for – cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed with traditional touches that made it feel truly special. The three bedrooms were comfortable, and the living and dining areas were perfect for spending quality time together. The fully equipped kitchen and the indoor barbecue area were fantastic for preparing meals, and the outdoor leisure space was ideal for relaxing while enjoying the fresh mountain air. Its proximity to the natural pools of Porto Moniz (just 2 km away!) and the Bride's Veil Viewpoint made exploring the stunning surroundings effortless. Porto Moniz is truly a magical place !!!!

The accomodation was nice, soooo quiet and peaceful. Only the bird chirping we can hear during our stay. the view from the covered terace was amazing. it was easy to reach the house by car. We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay to Ricardo's place! The location is so beautiful and peaceful! If you like being away from the main touristic areas, this is one of the place to be.

Absolutely stunning property with incredible views. It was perfect in every way and there is nothing that I could fault it on. It was easy to find, as all the instructions and helpful photos showed clearly where to go. Parking was fine everyday and not far away. The steps up to the house were not an issue as quite low, well lit and with a handrail. I’m nearly 70 and had no problem. It really is worth it for the views. We walked down to the harbour and back every night which only takes about 10 mins. Sophia has a brilliant touch for your use. The road is quiet and it was so peaceful there the whole time. You can hear the sea and the distance hum of the occasional little boat. Loads of places to eat and drink, not just along the harbour front. Recommend the Pukiki bar for cocktails. Not impressed with the price of Razõa restaurant at 75€ a head for a tasting meal. The property inside is stylishly furnished, beds and linen really good quality and comfy. Highly recommend. We were delighted with our stay in this beautiful island of Madeira! the accommodation is really beautiful, very clean, with stunning views, and the welcome from our host Nelson Silva (who speaks French) was very warm!! As a welcome "gift": bananas (local), eggs (from the garden next door), coffee, and 2 bottles of local wine. In short, full of nice little attentions.

José is a super nice host and takes the time to talk to his guests and give good tips. His house overlooking the sea is super nice, very spacious and also very tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay at this place. José, we will be happy to come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this place in Madeira, and we can only highly recommend it. Everything was perfect, starting with the warm welcome and exceptional kindness of the hosts, who made our experience even more unforgettable. The place itself was impeccably clean, perfectly equipped, and designed to offer maximum comfort. Every detail seemed to have been thoughtfully thought out to make us feel at home. The calm and idyllic environment are a major asset of the accommodation which offers an ideal base from which to explore the beauties of the island. We left delighted and full of gratitude. If you are looking for a little piece of paradise for your stay in Madeira, look no further, this is where you will find it!

This is a beautiful historic home located outside the small town of Camacha, about 15 minutes from Funchal by car. Well set back from the road and area is quiet at night, mild road noise during the day if the windows are open. The home is just as described and pictured in the photos with one exception - the paint is mildewed and peeling off in a small section of the bathroom ceiling. The house was very clean and and during our 2 week stay, we also received one housekeeping visit/linen change with no extra charge. We had no need for A/C, and the radiators kept the house toasty at night. There were dehumidifers in the house but we found it dry and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. No rodent/insect issues. A sweet small dog resides on the property. There is a lovely levada walk in the back of grounds as well. Host responded promptly to all questions. Shopping center with supermarket, laundromat 5 minutes drive. Appliances worked well. We enjoyed it

We really enjoyed our stay in Aurelio & Sietske's cozy house! The area is beautiful for beautiful walks and excursions, which is easy to do both on foot and by bus. In addition, there are all kinds of nice restaurants and terraces within walking distance. Furthermore, the house has everything you need and Aurelio & Sietske were very helpful. Thank you!
