Parking is in front of the guest house in a quiet, safe neighborhood. A personal welcome sign greeted us when entering the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with basic items including coffee maker and coffee. The bathroom includes standard toiletries and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Good storage for unpacking. Very easy and comfortable to stay here with the dog. I highly recommend and would return again.

Our stay was relaxing and so comfortable. Everything you could think of was there and so many thoughtful extra touches. Fresh flowers, a box of chocolates and a Valentine’s Day card were set out for us on our arrival. Everything was so clean and cozy.

A very nice place. In a great location, attractive and cosy with a patio outside. Clean and well furnished with everything we needed; a comfortable bed and nice linens. A great grocery store and cafe are very near, and there’s easy access to central Arcata. Christy provides lots of information and is very responsive to communications. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to stay again.

This home is perfect for a family! Plenty of communal space and the most well stocked rental kitchen we have ever had which was perfect since we made our Thanksgiving dinner there on this trip. The view from the home and deck is gorgeous!! We had an excellent stay.

The house was completely spotless. She supplied many things such as plates and extra towels. The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole place was decorated very comfortably.

The spot is perfect! Close to eureka and arcata but worlds away. Walks on beach all around- by foot or a couple of minutes by car. Place is impeccable, and hosts were responsive. I hope to come back to Humboldt and if I can, will be back here in this spot if paradise

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is clean and cozy, the outdoor shower is also super enjoyable. We brought our e-scooters and it was a quick trip to downtown for the farmers market and dinner. Highly recommend this location!

We had an amazing stay. We rented the room in her house and the tiny home in the backyard because there were three of us. Irene and her partner were warm and welcoming while also giving us the rest and privacy we needed. All the spaces were clean and warm and quiet and accessible. We were so comfortable and at home! Added bonus, her dog Cider is so sweet.

Marlen's place is a hidden gem! We were traveling with our doggie and Marlen's place was just what we needed. Centrally located, clean, quiet and reasonably priced.

This place is BEAUTIFUL and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the immunities needed and the living room is so peaceful and clam. The bathroom has more than enough towels and space and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed and place to put all of your belongings. The host was very good at responding quickly with answers to all of my questions and I felt very welcomed. This cottage is a joined to the back end of their garage and offered a lot of privacy during our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a getaway to the Red Wood forest!

Where do I begin! I can’t say enough good things about our hosts Tiffany and Tracy. My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful time at their Airbnb. We actually got to have coffee and tea with them one morning while checking out Tiffany’s beautiful art studios and her awesome creations. They are both such kind and good hearted people. It was a pleasure to get to meet them. Tiffany gave us great suggestions of fun things to do while we were there and was always very responsive. The unit it self will feel like a home away from home. I kept saying to my girlfriend while we’re there “man, you can really see how much time, effort and love they put into making this Airbnb” because it’s true! You can tell they care about their guests having fun while also being as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much you guys! We will for sure be back. Don’t miss out on this spot with wonderful hosts 😊

Perfect place for my transition while I was relocating. It was such a peaceful and comfortable place to make my home while in the process of buying a house in the area. Sara and Peter were wonderful hosts. They made me feel like I really belonged here. Exceptionally quiet and serene home. I couldn't imagine a more inviting place to retreat to while I worked through the moving process.

The host was amazing! We had a welcome gift waiting for us from the local ice cream shop and a heart shaped chocolate. She was super attentive which we appreciated. Place was great! We arrived at night which made it difficult to see the driveway since there are no street lights. If we would have gotten there when there was daylight we would’ve been fine since her directions were accurate. The path has solar lights from the parking to the steps but they are not that bright but bright enough to see. We had flashlights so we didn’t mind the dim lights on the path. Other than that it’s a great place to stay!

Wonderful place for me and my dogs for the night. I was so comfortable! Great fenced in yard for my dogs.

Antoinette was a wonderful responsive host. We felt right at home and really enjoyed the space. The bed and pillows were heavenly and extremely comfortable after long days of hiking and activities. We utilized the kitchen to cook dinner one night and was delighted to have backyard visitors such as chickens and the cutest little cat! I would absolutely return for my next trip out to Humboldt.

Our stay was awesome and Drew was an amazing host. He made our stay so comfortable and we enjoyed it so much we will be back.

Beautiful location, spacious and comfy accommodations. Bed was big and the blankets were warm. Visits from the neighbors cats was the cherry on top.

Book this listing - you won't be disappointed. We used this as a base camp to do multiple day hikes in the parks around the area. The ability to come home and then just walk to a great dinner spot - great. Place is well appointed for everything you may need for an extended stay (except washer and dryer, if that's a need). Super clean, no weird 'janky' things to deal with. Would stay again.
