Very good place, and sweet people

Really happy about the hospitality of our hosts and the Wadi Rum desert experience. An absolute must ! Despite the low season and the cold winter nights, our hosts made everything possible for our comfort and to allow us to see the beautiful desert and taste the delicious food. Thank you !

This is a true local experience. The campsite is situated deep in the peaceful and ran by a local family. The hospitality was unmatched. Rakan and his cousins shared lots of tea, went out of their way to book tours for us, and spent time with us. They shared stories of the desert, their local Bedouin culture, and cuisine. I did the White Desert tour while I stayed. It was very authentic and not touristic at all! Yosef, our guide, showed us secret spots his father showed him as a child. He showed us thousands of year old carvings and beautiful look out points. He also made a very delicious lunch and taught us about the cuisine. The food was one of the highlights. Each night, a different local meal was prepared - mostly a dish that is cooked underground. The Middle Eastern were so delicious, and the buffet style was very generous. If you are looking for a relaxing, natured based, cultural experience - this is the perfect way to enjoy your time. Rakan’s camp Was 10/10.

Bakhir is a super nice host and was very accommodating to me and my friends. I unfortunately booked wrong and did not cancel in time. Nevertheless, he has corresponded for us with Air BnB to refund me all the money. That was very generous and I am very grateful to him for that! When we come back to Wadi Rum we will 100% stay in his accommodation.

The stay was amazing, beautiful place and very friendly hosts, we were welcomed with open arms. The full tour is recommended and it is amazing, same with the food (and shisha)!! The main guide took time out of his day to bring us halfway to petra! 10/10

I had an amazing experience staying at a Bedouin tent camp in Wadi Rum desert with my parents, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like old friends. The food was absolutely delicious and the starry night sky was breathtakingly beautiful. The jeep tour was also a highlight of the trip, taking us through the stunning landscape and offering unforgettable views. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a unique and authentic desert experience. Thank you to our hosts for making our stay so memorable!

Salems camp is amazing! Quiet and beautiful!!! An amazing wadi rum stay. He is super trustworthy and we loved getting to know him and his family chatting over tea and dinner, and enjoying an amazing jeep tour! Highly highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience!

What a place to stay! About a ten minute drive from Wadi Rum village, through the desert to the camp. My room is described as a tent, but it's more like a little cabin. There's a comfy double bed and a single, and a bathroom with loo and shower. The view is incredible, open desert surrounded by high rocky mountains. There is a large communal room, where meals are served and where you can sit and chat. The food was great, tasty and plenty of it. Mohamed is a great host, nothing is too much trouble. All in all, highly recommended.
