The Christmas Welcome pack was Amazing and much appreciated Steve and Vicky also left some dog treats for our Dogs. They checked on us throughout our stay which was really thoughtful. We would love to return in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at Bottleworks Cottage for a long weekend with our dog. The property is absolutely immaculate, well presented, cosy, comfortable and with everything that could be needed (and more!) for a relaxing time away from home. Easy parking in front of the property and located right next to the lovely beach/coastline, which our pooch loved. Would love to visit again and stay for longer.

Fantastic place for a large group but still good value for just for two of us breaking up a long drive from Scotland as only 15min away from M6 Warm when we arrived. Able to chat to Marie about check in. Area is a bit run down but quiet and able to park outside house. Dog friendly, small concrete yard but grass areas are minutes walk away as is a delightful walk on the prom and a great fish n chip shop/ restaurant Fantastic Morcambe sunset and wonderful view of snow topped southern Lake District mountains

Lovely house we all enjoyed being together at the dining table and the kids loved having their own space in seperate rooms

I had a wonderful few days with my dog Bea and my son, walking along the incredible Deerness railway path. The house was such a cute place with absolutely everything you could possibly wish for and so much more. Anthony was the perfect host and I would stay there again of course.

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

Simon and Belinda were very responsive and helpful. The property was decorated very nice and mostly clean. Excellent location, no need to drive anywhere, pubs & the langdale hotel, as well as coffee shops and small co-op within walking distance. Great walks to Grasmere, Elterwater all from the house. Could have done with more logs so make sure to bring your own as it’s only a small basket provided. Higher expectations on guests hoovering the house/stripping beds etc before leaving than other places, although the house wasn’t super clean when we arrived. Parking is tough in Chapel Stile with most properties being holiday lets, the bonus of one parking space was handy but worth noting to find a second is difficult. Overall we had a great stay and loved the location, it was brilliant for walking and great size place for 4 people.

Well equipped static caravan, the site was very large, but nice and quiet as we went over Christmas. The central heating meant the caravan was lovely and warm. Sheets and towels all included, and our standard poodles loved their stay. We did see there appeared to be a wifi hub thingy, but no access to it - practically no phone signal so would have been great to be able to use the site wifi. It was very wet when we went so parked on the road way as otherwise it's grass parking area which would have got really muddy. Overall, a great place to stay, we may well come again!

I chose to stay at the log cabin for my boyfriend’s birthday. We both absolutely loved the whole weekend. The lodge was 100% worth the money. The decor in the lodge made you feel right at home. The on site bar and restaurant was lovely and a nice alternative if you didn’t fancy cooking. The on-site deer, peacocks and cats were a highlight of the trip for us. We loved being able to go on a walk and then get back to our lovely lodge and hottub. We will definitely be returning again.

Denise is a wonderful host and looks after this lodge beautifully, she is always helpful and responds promptly. This lodge is extremely comfortable, and one of the best Air B&Bs we’ve stayed, hence returning several times. It really has all the items that you will need for your stay, the added new washing machine was easy to use too. Thank you for another relaxing time away with our dogs and for all the little extras.

We love this place so much we've booked again for next Christmas. The lodge itself is equipped with more things than you have at home, it is very well appointed and you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. It is clean and beds very comfortable. The setting is beyond beautiful and we had a robin who called everyday, and a pair of deer who happily came into the bottom of the garden two of the days we were there. The Christmas decor made it extra Christmassy and my little boy soon made himself at home. With only a short walk away to Skelwith Bridge and the lovely Chesters by the River or a ten minute drive to Ambleside this is a perfect location for any couple or family wishing to relax. The owners had left us a bottle of prosecco upon arrival and gave clear and specific instructions of how to find the the lodge. A perfect retreat for a well earned relax. I'm so glad we found this little peace of heaven. Thank you Andy and Maggie.

Had a really wonderful stay at the lodge. Nice and easy to check in with clear instructions. Hosts provided a Welcome Pack which was very useful with recommendations on nearest shops/places to eat and atttactions. We were really well catered for with the dogs, the hosts provided dog blankets/towels to use, dog bowls and even left some dog treats which made us feel really relaxed and welcome. We were also left some chocolates which was a lovely touch too :) The location was perfect to visit lots of different places. The lodge was very clean and in a lovely peaceful spot facing the little pond where you could watch the ducks. We will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely look to return!!

We really enjoyed everything about this break. The place was stocked with everything we needed and was really well equipped, couldnt fault it at all. The pool is incredible and a highlight of our stay! The main house is wonderful- so full of character and warm and inviting as well as spacious. The pool house quarters were equally as impressive. We just didnt want to go home! The cottage is in a fantastic location to see areas of interest such as malham cove, Pen y Ghent and Ingleborough caves as well as having some wonderful pubs around usually offering delicious food. We absolutely loved it here and would return in a heartbeat. Have had so many friends asking about the place too after seeing pictures, videos and hearing how much we enjoyed it.

great wee place right off the motorway. clean, cozy, characterful. lots of information provided about local amenities. we just did a flying visit, but someone could definetly stay there for a holiday.

We had a lovely stay at Amanda & Kevin’s lodge. The lodge is perfect and had everything we needed for a chilled weekend away. The location is secluded and is the perfect setting for a quiet relaxing weekend away. Would highly recommend

Low Moss Cottage is a fantastically peaceful and cozy place. We had a two night stay during which we never left the cottage. All the amenities we needed made for a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Another super weekend in the cosy, well equipped and comfortable apartment. Clare is a great host and we hope to return again next year.

Wonderful stay, perfect location for many walks, great recommendation’s for food in a helpful guide. Our Dog had the best holiday. Next time we’re in the Lakes would love to come back
