Catherine was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and flexible. The place felt like home and was perfect for our large group. The kitchen was very well equipped which made it so easy to make a few meals. Wolfville is beautiful and there are lots of great places to eat and explore nearby. We all had a fabulous time. Had a fantastic stay in this charming barn! Charlie & Rebecca did a great job designing this space, it's a perfect layout and creates a very cozy space, everyone felt right at home. Our two dogs loved it as well, the property is full of walking trails and felt very private and safe for them to roam around, and there are so many good smells! They loved laying in the sun on the big deck, and we loved laying in the hot tub! It was the perfect couple nights of relaxation. The lack of microwave is a bit inconvenient, but the kitchen is beautifully equip for all your cooking needs! This is a wonderful little retreat in a beautiful, quiet landscape, with amazing beaches and scenery all around.

Our family (1 senior, 2 adults and 2 children) had a lovely 2 night stay at Hockey House. This home suited our needs nicely. Being a well loved and well lived in home made it easy and comfortable to settled in with kids, and the backyard and cul-de-sac were perfect to let them get out and burn off some energy. Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

A delightful, quirky, comfortable home. We were in Nova Scotia to visit with our adult kids who are attending university - it was a great space for visiting and hanging out, and the upstairs loft space was a nice bright room where one could retreat to read or do work. Mike and Michelline were wonderful hosts.

We had a short stay during the winter, and even though we couldn't do much outdoors, we had a fun time staying at this cozy Airbnb. And the hosts were really nice to interact with and they provided us games to play with as well. Definitely coming back in the summer!

Zack and Yifei are great hosts! We chose their location for proximity to family we were visiting nearby. It’s definitely convenient if visiting the Bedford area. They have excellent taste and we appreciated the thoughtful decor touches and the clean, comfortable space. It’s a great space if you’re travelling with kids and our toddler loved his “special bed.” They were highly responsive, acting immediately to salt the driveway when we arrived and it was slippery from the night before. We only had a few issues, namely a bad wifi connection and the inability to access data from our phones inside due to poor LTE connection in the area. Zack was responsive in offering to help and, although we didn’t get it sorted, we appreciated their responsiveness regardless. The only other issue was that we did hear a fair amount of noise from upstairs on our first evening, but it didn’t appear to be an issue at any other time.

This is our second time staying at this host's properties. Last year, we stayed in the cottage at the back. We loved it so much we brought friends with us this year. And we’re already planning another trip for next March. It's a beautiful location with a clean environment, lovely hosts, and such a wonderful atmosphere. Hot tub is a bonus, house is so unique with beautiful 360 views. Everything you need is there. Thank you

An idyllic getaway from city life. Marilyn is a wonderful host, and the gate house was perfect for me, my partner and our dog to stay for a few days. Shobac farms is a really special place and a hidden gem for sure.

WFP &J.P were amazing. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an extra unexpected. Gustave will be very bored of Maple. Small review THAT IS NOT A REVIEW. The fridge isn't very big so don't do too big a grocery every time. We arrived with too many things and didn't get in. But again, it's no big deal. There's a grocery store nearby. Sounds good. Just don't have to plan too far in advance if you have a big family like mine. The pool is extraordinary!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches . We had a great time with the family!!!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! Lovely little inn in Grand Pre. Easy to find, easy check in. Room had nice up to date furnishings. The restaurant Longfellow was excellent. Food and service outstanding. 1 minute away is lovely winery where we did tasting and following day we rode bike trail to Wolfville for lunch. Loved the area and our accommodations

Laura’s place was amazing as always when we stay there. They are so kind and accommodating could not ask for a better space!

We frequently travel as a large group and are used to splitting up due to our size, so finding a place that can accommodate all of us is a challenge. Melanie and Thomas went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and we couldn’t be more grateful. With 17 of us staying under one roof, you’d never guess there were so many—it was that spacious! The house is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen essentials to speakers and pool toys. Melanie and Thomas are truly the most kind and welcoming hosts we’ve ever encountered. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—just book it! Next time, we’re definitely staying for at least three nights because we weren’t ready to leave!

I would say the pictures don't do it justice. What a beautiful house and property. Sitting on the front lawn drinking my coffee listening to the silence was perfect for a city gal. So peaceful and serene. The house was cozy and the beds with down comforters was perfect for the chilly nights when we were there. The weather was warm enough during the day so we were able to take dip in the pool, which was very clean. The house was generous with its towels and blankets. You can tell a lot of thought went into decorating the house. It was tastefully done without feeling like you were in a museum with fragile pieces. A comfortable and cozy setting. A perfect vacation to end the summer.

Our family’s last get together to end the summer and it was perfect for us. We loved the outside area and spent most of our time sitting outside on the deck overlooking the lake and pool and the campfire was so nice to have as well. We will definitely be back next year! Thank you!

This private accommodation was just as described and exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well equipped (ample supply of dishes, glasses pots/pans & some food provisions to start the stay), clean and comfortable to work in. The view was exceptional (we were very lucky with the weather!) and the clear, dark night sky was spectacular. The bed was comfortable and roomy, with high quality linens. The jet tub was very relaxing. The warmth from the wood stove made the whole place cosy... great for reading a good book with a glass of 🍷. Thanks for sharing Myrtle!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The property was exactly as described in the listing. One of the highlights for me was that it was pet-friendly, offering plenty of outdoor space for my dog to run around and enjoy the fresh air. The trails nearby were absolutely stunning, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing hike. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway that welcomes pets and offers a tranquil, natural environment.

Stayed for two weeks at the the Little Red Cottage - what a find (both the accommodation and the host, Valentina)! Perfectly placed, only a 15-20 walk (pavemented) to Annapolis Royal and the lovely selection of eateries and shops and renowned Saturday market. House was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for. The outside was the perfect spot to watch the stunning sunrises and to relax around the fire pit in the evening. We will definitely be back!

The view, the sound of the waves, the peacefulness and incredibly cozy vibes are just some of the reasons that make this spot amazing. Put on some records while you play board games and look out the window at the water and watch the sky change colors during sunset with a fire crackling next to you. Go for walks on the beach. Take a drive to St Martin for drinks at Old Molly's Bar. Don't be afraid to come here in the cold weather months. We spent a week in late October and didn't want to leave. The fire was so inviting and the cottage stayed very warm. The purpose of this cottage is relaxation and to create lifelong memories. You need this once in a while.
