Beachfront holiday rental in Anchor Bay

This was a little slice of heaven. We got exactly what we were looking for. The home was very warm and inviting. Carla was very responsive to any questions I had. I could not have had a better trip. On a side note, I strongly recommend trying the Schoolhouse Restaurant when you are on the island. You will not regret it. If you are looking for heaven, look no further and spend a little time at this wonderful home.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The house itself was spacious and accommodated our group of 14 comfortably. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, including ping-pong, foosball, and air hockey. The views were breathtaking—the backyard was gorgeous, overlooking the lake and even offering a view of the U.S. side. Watching the sunset as the golden light filled the BnB was absolutely magnificent. The washrooms were another highlight—very nice, incredibly clean, and super spacious. And we have to mention the toilet bidet—it was such a great touch that we all appreciated! The hosts were incredibly kind, accommodating, and always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made our experience even better. We truly had an amazing time here and would absolutely love to return in the future if possible. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable getaway!

Jennifer and Rex where great,they went above and beyond. The food,cocktail bar,tea and scones totally fulfilled our dining experience. The view of the water was beautiful, we will definitely be coming back.

To our surprise, there was a game room with pool, hockey, and others. So much fun. We were only a few minutes away from our daughter and it worked out perfectly. Thank you,

It’s a very nice place to stay, right on the water with beach access from the backyard. The cottage is very comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. I like to cook and there was a great selection of everything you need to make use of the kitchen and feel right at home. The beds were also very comfortable. The view was lovely, and the environment very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it!

Cozy and full of charm! As Michigan natives who moved south to escape winter, this rental brought us right back to the beauty of the Midwest. Even on a gray day, the stunning lake views were a dream. The hosts truly go the extra mile to make this feel like a home away from home—every detail shows the care and heart they’ve poured into the space. We’ll forever cherish the photos and videos of our kids and their cousins making memories here, with the gorgeous Christmas décor adding a magical backdrop. Highly recommend for a cozy, heartfelt getaway!

Wish we had more time to relax there but the time we had was so peaceful. Having a morning coffee, sitting out along the lake on the dock, Premium. My only issue was that train. I'm a light sleeper. I heard any that went by. Didn't seem to bother my wife.

The beach access was incredible for quiet mornings. Well stocked with things to do, it was a joy to watch the other renters take the boats out to fish and relax. The neighbors were all friendly, the neighborhood a short and sweet walk. It was an incredible stay, we ended up extending because we weren't ready to leave! Loved the fully equipped kitchen and though we didn't utilize it, free laundry facilities are always a plus for lake vacations (no more smelly bathing suits on the way home!) The thermostat was straightforward and the wifi connection was strong. No complaints here!

We were very satisfied with everything. The host's communication was prompt and he found a solution for everything. The house fully met our expectations and we immediately felt at home.
