Cottage holiday rentals in Amsterdam

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Jokelien and her partner were kind, thoughtful, and enjoyable hosts. The house is situated in a peaceful and beautiful place, they anticipated many things we didn't even know that we needed. The property was charming, clean, and wonderfully located. They had recommendations which made our visit smooth, comfortable and special. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had booked longer. The property was very clean, very modern and had parking that was safe and easy to find. after the long drive the hot tub was hot and lovely to relax in! We loved that the property was accommodating for animals and we immediately felt at home with the very friendly hosts. we would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay in Esther and Marc's cottage. Beautifully furnished with such attention to detail. It had everything you needed for a short break. The view over the water in the sunshine and the sunsets were lovely. Friendly restaurant with good food just at the end of the road. Beach, villages and towns within easy reach. Hot tub in the garden and a canoe and bikes at your disposal and a delicious breakfast brought to your door. Highly recommended 👌

We chose Marjan’s place because it was close to Leiden where our friend lives, but it turned out it was also perfect for its proximity by car to the local beaches, the Keukenhof, and rail transport from Nieuw Vennep to Amsterdam and the Hague. We loved coming home to the wood burning stove to warm us during the chilly evenings and really enjoyed the hot tub, just remember to turn it on in time for when you want to use it as it takes 1.5 hours to warm up! The beds are sublime and there are plenty of lovely fluffy towels for showers and the hot tub. Great place to relax and reflect.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

John is a very friendly landlord who always responded kindly and quickly to questions. In the house itself, we were warmly welcomed according to instructions and were very impressed by the many details. The house has every comfort and nothing was missing. The only small drawback I have to say is that the house is very audible. Every toilet, every shower, etc., all the fellow travelers had something, but still the life in the house was very pleasant. The lower room does not allow privacy, but this was already mentioned in the reviews by our predecessors. We would recommend the house and the landlord at any time!!! ❤️❤️

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

Everything was as described - we felt very comfortable. The dog had a demarcated area in the garden and could run freely. Hosts were always available and responded immediately to inquiries. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week here. We stayed here with 3 people. The house is in a very quiet location, is very nicely decorated. We didn't lack anything. We felt very comfortable here. We also found the personal welcome very pleasant. You can walk to the center in about 10 minutes. You can do great bike rides here or hike through the dunes. The beaches are fantastic. Frank is a very nice host. We can fully recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

I had a nice time at Anja and Hans's cottage. It didn't feel "tiny" at all and everything was definitely to your liking. You will definitely relax in this location and the deer complete it. Anja and Hans were super nice and made sure everything was clear from start to finish. I'd definitely be back again!

We stayed with Ben for two weeks in connection with our renovation and we enjoyed it! Despite the renovation crowds, it felt like a mini vacation. Our 2.5-year-old son was able to play in the garden and everything was present in the house for a carefree stay. Ben's hospitality was fantastic and we felt at home straight away. Thank you!

Very nicely decorated cottage, super clean and with nice touches like a beautiful bouquet of flowers and welcome nibbles. Sevanne is a very warm host and we felt very comfortable. For our youngest daughter, Sevanne got us a high chair and fall-out protection. The location is also great, but you absolutely need a car or a bike. All in all we had a lovely few days here!

Staying at the Pelican Dune was really beautiful all around. The cottage is totally quiet and beautiful in the residential area of the place while being very close to the beach. We felt right at home. The kitchen was absolutely sufficient for everything we had planned, we even prepared 2x dinner ourselves. Willem was very friendly and was immediately available when we had a question. He has a folder with all kinds of tips for the area in the house, so we also looked in a few times:) Suffering is also very close and beautiful! Especially the market. Our first time vacation in the Netherlands was really a success, and our stay in Nordwijk was natural.

Edam is a great place where you can easily get everything you need on foot. It has lots of great restaurants in walking distance and everywhere has picturesque canals and waterways. Super friendly and relaxed home with top class amenities. Perfect for a family .

A beautiful and peaceful space. Just a described. We loved staying at this lovely house. The layout with the adjoining rooms worked great for our family of 3. It was an easy drive to the surrounding towns and we used the bus to get to downtown Amsterdam. Very clean and well maintained. Thank you!
