Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Amherst County

It was a rainy weekend but we got great recommendations for places to go! Getting rained in by the fireplace wasn't too bad anyway, what a relaxing visit. We will definitely be back!

It was beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and spacious and if he had any questions or needed help with something she was very responsive. It was a healing trip for our family and exactly what we needed. We hope we can return next year!

The place was beautiful, roomy and spacious! Great place to host a family dinner for special event. Cozy and nostalgic. Bill was a gracious host and reached out to us to ensure we had what we needed and even had breakfast items and a snack upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. :)

Stoped for a last minute R&R weekend after a work trip and it turned out to be the perfect spot to unwind. Such a peaceful and private setting. We enjoyed starting our day off with coffee in the hot tub while watching the deer run in the field. The home was so well set up. They really thought of everything to make you feel at home. We loved our stay and will definitely come back on another trip.

The home was spotless, stylish, and had all the little touches that made me feel welcome. The check-in process was seamless, and communication was excellent from start to finish. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I had a peaceful night’s sleep. Though my stay was short, I truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities and attention to detail. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and well-kept spot!

Traveled from NC to spend Christmas with family. Thankful for the Christmas decorations as this was a wonderful surprise. Comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Highly recommend and we will plan a stay again in the near future.

We chose this place with only 2 weeks before our sporadic vacation to get out of the city and enjoy some scenery. Ronald was a great host, responded quickly, made check in process easy and even let us check in a few hours early. Upon arriving Ronald greeted us and showed us the farm life, He also brought some apples so we can get more up close and personal with the animals. Cows and goats were great! The chicken perched on a extension cord was a good laugh too!! He showed us the trails and where to explore and while we didn’t get to use the whole Airbnb experience as others, we did explore and check it out. Paths were decent with some ruts to look out for. The fire pit area seemed cozy and if we had more time would’ve certainly utilized it. The stay was clean and offered all necessary amenities. The hot-tub was clean and very relaxing after a long day of traveling. 10/10 would recommend.

This place was a peaceful retreat for us while we were in Lynchburg for a college tour. It was very thoughtfully decorated. Honestly it felt so inviting that we wanted to extend our stay. We spent our morning coffee time on the porch admiring the river view and watching the bald eagles in their nest. So beautiful! Great place!!!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the loft. Very convenient location with fantastic and modern accommodations - all exactly as described / shown in pictures. We stayed over Christmas and were surprised to find the loft had even been decorated for the holidays with beautiful tree, stockings, and more. Those little extra touches made the stay all the more memorable. Thank you!
