The whole apartment unit is a great set up for hikers. It had a separate "boot room" to get cleaned up without dragging wet and muddy things through the hallways. Even better as we had our dog and it also included a stand in wash area with shower to clean him up. Very easy to find, get keys and self-check in. Onsite receptionist was lovely and very helpful also if you want support with anything. We managed to couple a visit to Fischers @ Baslow Hall followed by a great day hiking.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Castleton. Have done many day trips before but was really nice to be able to spend the weekend and saw a whole different side to the place. Jon and Emma’s apartment was everything you could ask for, will definitely stay again!

We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.

exactly as advertised, perfect for a short work trip. had everything we needed, was well kept, and the host was a proactive communicator. was pleasantly surprised to have a dedicated parking lot for the apartment. would stay again.

Gemma’s place is lovely, super central and really well equipped. It felt chilly when we first arrived (it had snowed that morning) but the heating is really good and within 10mins it was really cosy. Someone else had said in their review that it looks bigger than the pictures and that’s definitely true, plenty of space for the four of us and our dog! Also- the courtyard out the back is completely secure so the dog was okay to have a quick run around there when needed.

Such a lovely place to stay, the surroundings were beautiful and the bungalow was set back enough to be totally private. The bungalow was absolutely spotless, great internet connection, amazing shower in the en-suite, massive space in the living room with super comfortable sofa’s, nice little work space to set up the work laptop, there was no need for the fire because it was kept lovely and warm inside the bungalow and the kitchen/diner was a great space for us to have large family meals. George and Louise were super efficient and very helpful, fantastic hosts.

Great place to stay for the weekend of our relatives’ wedding. Check in was straightforward and hosts welcoming. Super house, load of space and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely private and secure garden for the pooch. Drive for off road parking. Cool tv and audio facilities. Sparkly clean top to bottom. Thoughtful touches like local walking books and a local map with recommendations for places to go up on the wall in the study. Even tea / coffee / shower gel / dishwasher tabs in case we had forgotten. Comfortable and homely. Loved it. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks!

Would like to start by thanking Penny for a warm welcome to her stunning home which included a freshly baked cake, homemade scones, jam and clotted cream plus croissants. The property itself is immaculate from top to bottom. Beautiful furniture, furnishings, beds, bed linen, towels, toiletries. You really only need to bring your food and drink and that’s it. If you forget anything Penny will sort for you. We were waiting for a taxi on the Saturday and Penny offered to drive us into town if it didn’t turn up. The grounds are stunning and there are woodland walks on the doorstep. We had the hot tub which was great fun and best of all there is a washer and tumble dryer so no wet towels and swimsuits to take home. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. Can only give a 5 star review but would give 10 star if possible. The pictures are great but seeing is believing.

We had a lovely few days at your cosy home from home. Lots of walking from doorstep, just what we like for a relaxing holiday. Very dog friendly too. The views were amazing. Many thanks, hope to return.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at this BnB, I couldn’t recommend it enough! Rebecca was very attentive and had a very quick response time. The place was beautifully clean and the location had lots of things to do around it.

What a stunning location, the Cowshed was cosy and inviting , everything was just right. Our hosts were wonderful, very friendly , proactive and made us feel right at home there. The location was idyllic surrounded by countryside and the views were unbelievable , every time you looked out of the window a stunning view. We had such a lovely time and would recommend this in a heartbeat. Lots of thought had gone into adding those little details which make it extra special like the local produce supplied to the items in the cottage. We wanted for nothing and could see all the hard work and love that had gone into making this such a lovely place to stay. Thank you Neil and Naomi for all that you did to make our family stay so wonderful and we will treasure the memories we made there. Thank you again we would recommend this to anyone

Lovely cozy place to stay with beautiful rural surroundings. Scenic walks directly out the door and well situated for local attractions. A very peaceful and private place to stay with everything you can expect from a quality holiday cottage. Linda is a very kind and considerate host and not at all intrusive. We would highly recommend The Chicken Barn.

Another great stay at the Loft whilst visiting family in Derbyshire. It's well equipped with everything you need, large kitchen, comfy bed, spotlessly clean and private parking. And such beautiful and peaceful countryside. Thank you Mandy for being a brilliant host!

Absolutely wonderful! Eyam is gorgeous, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, easy to get to Buxton, Bakewell, Tideswell and other super places to explore. The apartment is amazing, so much larger than we expected - it feels like a house. All the rooms are great in size, the lounge has a variety of seating, an electric fire, blankets, cushions, loads of DVDs to choose from (it is not a smart tv, so normal channels but the host has over 100 DVDs to choose from - which the children loved!). The kitchen is wonderful - there is so much storage! We didn't have to rearrange the storage to fit in our food delivery! The Tea Room is below and I was worried about noise and smells - but none of us heard or smelt anything - it was so quiet. The beds were all so comfortable, a large roll top bath, great water pressure, super heating and hot water, dark curtains/blinds, every untensil we needed, large fridge and freezer! It was amazing and we will 100% be back! We all absolutely love it!

Location was fantastic for access to main shopping street, historic sites and pubs and restaurants as everything was walkable. Also amazing views from the lounge. Lovely welcome basket and felt very welcomed by the host. Would love to head back in the summer months

Lovely spot perfectly situated in the Peak District. Close to some beautiful walks! The space was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Really good value for what we paid! Would happily stay here again.
