Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Amador County

This was our second time staying at Leedas home. it's in a great safe location with many small towns to visit. my family comes to ione to fish the local lakes. plenty of parking if you bring a boat with many lakes to choose to fish.

Great location in Arnold for a ski weekend. The place matched the description and was comfortable for our family. The noise from the road didn’t bother us and the kitchen had everything you need to cook meals.

We had a fantastic time at Fred and Patricia’s home. It was perfect for our group of six. Centrally located, comfortable, and with a very usable kitchen to prepare meals. Already talking about a follow-up trip!

Thank you Laurie for opening your home to us. We do a lot of cooking & the kitchen was fully supplied, way more than the average Airbnb. It really felt like home. We enjoyed the open space setup for our family & 3 dogs. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mike and Michelle’s Shenandoah Valley Winery getaway. This was the first time staying at an AirBNB vs a Bed and Breakfast or historic hotel(s). Loved the flexibility it gave us and loved this charming house. Easy walk to Taste and local wine bars. Will definitely recommend to friends.

This air b&b is a convenient place to stay in Diamond Springs - 15min drive into Main Street Placerville, 20 min to amazing vineyards and 25 min to Folsom. We loved the fire pit and bocce, and felt like it was a great place for a family stay. We also very much appreciated the welcome basket of snacks and coffee, the responsiveness of the hosts, and a kitchen with everything you need. For any new parents out there, we were staying with a newborn and our pack and play fit well in the Master bedroom. They also supply a crib if needed, but we preferred our own. Thank you Ross Family!!

The Farmhouse turned out to be the perfect place for a family gathering and dinner. It was very close to Amador Cellers where our daughter was married the next day. The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of serving dishes, wine glasses, plates, a chafing dish, serving tables, comfortable pretty dining tables and chairs and nice outdoor lighting. The corn hole game was a hit with my grandsons as was the giant jinga game. There is a claw foot tub and large shower in both upstairs bathrooms. The extra half bath was very convenient so people did not need to go through the master bedroom to get to a bathroom downstairs. All of the landscaping was beautiful. Highly recommend.

We had a comfortable stay at Laura’s place. Beautiful scenery. Lots of privacy. Plenty of room, clean, and fully stocked kitchen. Kids loved that they got their own beds. We enjoyed the snow, just a short 15 minute drive from the house. We drove to South Lake Tahoe (about an hour and 22 min drive) for some arcade fun and slots at Harvey’s.

Very comfortable and quiet property. We booked this property giving Kevin and Teresa only an hour’s notice. They were very pleasant and made sure everything was set for us. Kevin met us and showed us around. The apartment was very warm and cozy. We would highly recommend!!

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

We had a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful; Hillary is an excellent host; the property is super clean; and its location is perfect. Great restaurants, wineries, outdoor activities, Gold Rush history and unique shops are all close by.

Can’t say enough about our weekend stay at Shaun and Holly’s! They are fabulous hosts and made sure we had everything necessary for a relaxing, fun time. They even had special treats awaiting us since it was our anniversary. Over the top in every way! We will most definitely go back to this little piece of heaven in Sutter Creek!

We had a great stay—everything was comfortable, and the space met our needs well. While we didn’t take full advantage of all the amenities, we still had a positive experience overall. Our only suggestion would be to ensure the backyard is kept cleaner, as my wife unfortunately stepped in dog waste on the concrete. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our time and would recommend this stay.

We were grateful to find this little gem on our visit to Pine Grove to reunite with family. Everything as described, loved the deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee, then the hot tub in the evening. Comfortable beds, a very complete kitchen, plenty of dvds to choose from. A lovely bottle of wine waiting for us after a long day of travel as well as a sampling of delicious ice cream to get us next door to try out the rest of our favorite flavors. Walking distance to Graze which turned into our favorite breakfast place. Roadhouse coffee another nice place. Local grocery had great variety if you didn’t want to make a trip to Jackson. We fell in love with Pine Grove and its surrounding area. Plenty of trails to hike, close to wineries, we even took a day trip to Calaveras to see the giant sequoias. Our family reunion turned into a memorable vacation. Thanks Stew for sharing your cozy chalet!

Place was good overall and comfortable. Only thing(s) would be that kitchen tools were lacking so make sure to bring your own kitchenware like knives, etc. Upstairs main home was a bit loud during the stay and it was clear conversations could be heard.
