Farmstay holiday rentals in Alto Alentejo

Alexandra's place was very clean. The house is big and pleasant to live in. We really enjoyed living there. Small inconvenience on arrival discovering that we can't put paper in the toilet but we managed to get there quickly. Alexandra is very responsive and accommodating. There is a mini grocery cafe right next to the house where there is fresh bread every morning, Elsa the owner is very nice. We recommend Alexandra's place because we had a great time at 7.

Idyllic, peaceful, beautiful. It was the perfect setting for a few days of peace over the holidays. We left feeling absolutely rejuvenated. The cabins were perfect, felt private. All the cork trees were amazing - such good vibes. The animals on the farm were all adorable. Would be a great place in summer when the pool is usable. The farm looks like a nice place for a wedding or other milestone family celebration for those who love nature. We would definitely visit again :)

What a wonderful place! The house is lovely and we'll updated. The pool is large and well maintained. The quinta is large, peaceful and beautiful. Check-in was easy and Eugénia was very responsive. The exit to the house is a bit tricky to find the first time but then it's easy! We would love to come back in the future and really take advantage of the yard and pool!

Lovely and peaceful cosy house surrounded by beautiful woodlands. The location is great if you want tranquility. The garden/pool are lovely and well equipped with little tables and chairs dotted around. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A mini supermarket is 8mn away other wise Pombal is 25mn. Flávio is super helpful and friendly. He recommended a few places to go and eat. We loved our stay and would recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The house is in a quiet area very near to all the Knights Templars castles which we wanted to visit. Having the small swimming pool was a great addition. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.

Her mom is a warm, friendly and available welcome (and a little extra, she knows the area very well to offer you very nice visits to do) and the exchanges went very well with the host. Beautiful and secluded house in a pine forest. Close to small villages and Sesimbra, with tasty local restaurants and shops. Jorge and Virgílio kindly shared many recommendations, which all proved to be great. We rented the house for a Christmas vacation. Jorge was a welcoming host! Great fireplace with plenty of wood provided by the hosts. The main house is beautifully decorated and spacious, with plenty of natural light. The kitchen is well equipped, where you can cook and serve for a large party. Downside was the old/outdated appliances, but they worked fine. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable, even if a little odd as two of the bedrooms had two double beds, which may be a little confusing when booking for a large group. The house felt cold even with the central heating on. We had to keep an eye on the gas tanks to make sure they don’t run out- maybe better as a summer vacation home! As many houses in Portugal, there was a strong smell of mold. Overall a great stay!

Quinta da Bella Vista exceeded expectations. Dinesh, who checked us in, truly set the mood for our elopement with welcoming jazz music, wine, and cheese. The space was much larger than we anticipated, perfect for our pre-wedding prep. We loved it so much, we added an extra day to soak it all in! Aline and Dinesh's hospitality went above and beyond – their responsiveness to our needs made everything seamless. We couldn't resist adding the delicious breakfast each day (highly recommend!), fueling our explorations of the charming town within walking distance. Evenings were spent enjoying deliveries via the Glovo app, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The Quinta itself is breathtaking – stunning grounds, incredible views, and beautiful architecture. It couldn't have been a more magical place to celebrate our elopement. Quinta da Bella Vista holds a very special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for anniversaries and any other excuse we can find!

Quinta Brigadeiro is a delightful place to stay. We received such a warm welcome from all the family and all the animals. Within five minutes of arrival we were feeding carrots to their donkeys and their dog. The accommodation itself is well designed, understated and uncluttered. It was lovely to be in a peaceful, rural area but with the amenities and attractions of Évora a short drive away. Thank you for sharing, we enjoyed our few days with you.

Very calm and welcoming space, we were very welcome, ideal for holidays with family or friends.

We had an amazing time celebrating my friend’s birthday in the villa. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Whatever questions we had, they replied us without delay. The facilities are excellent, including the beautiful fireplace in the living room and the additional accommodation options in separate cottages within the property. The villa is in a very safe and secure area. It’s just 15 mins walk away from the beach and a lovely fish restaurant. We had a fantastic time there. Thank you so much Margarida and Joao!

We had a wonderful time at Daniel's place over Christmas, it was just magical! My husband applied for me there on Christmas Eve, which makes this place memorable and special for us. Daniel has come up with something very special about Christmas and has slipped into the role of Santa Claus for us. He surprised us with loving gifts from his own company, which has touched us very much. Even on the holidays, he was always available for our questions and took care of us with great warmth. We enjoyed the tranquility and seclusion of this wonderful place very much. Saying “good morning” to the sheep and goats every morning or take a small hike to the idyllic river was simply wonderful. Unfortunately, only the donkey Zé remained hidden from us – one more reason to come back!

Sam & Rich were amazing all along our great stay in their lovely restored Portuguese houses. All has been though to make your stay pleasant and comfortable, all the houses are decorated with passion and finesse. The place is quite and a good location to visit the greatest places of Portugal. We definitely recommend our lovely host.

This is a magical place, meticulously cared for in every detail. We greatly appreciated the vegetable garden, the big outdoor space with the scents of spices and many nice activities for kids, the hot tub, the herbal tea made with garden herbs upon our arrival and the beautiful collection of children's books. This place absolutely lives up to the hype! Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The space is spotless and beautifully designed, and the horses and dogs make it even more special. Plus, the beach is truly just a five-minute walk away—and it’s stunning. 10/10 recommend!
