Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Alster

The place was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the station (though couldn't hear the trains, so quiet) and the high street, with plenty restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Axel's communication was great, even messaging the day before to let us know we could check in early.

Our stay at Petra's place was great. The house is exactly as described and in a great location - close to amenities and easy to get to great nearby places like Hamburg and Luneburg. The setting is great - peaceful and lots of birdsong. We really enjoyed it - thank you!

We enjoyed the space and the tranquility. Lovely detached cozy house outside the village, in a relaxing location, in the middle of forest slopes, meadows with horses and swampy area. A stately building with a soul, with history, full of literature and art - and yet very clean. Spacious bathrooms and nice showers. Contact with owner was pleasant, we were also allowed to use the washing machine although that was actually not the intention. Hamburg was very easy to reach by public transport. A few times an hour there is a train from Elmshorn to Hamburg Hbf

We felt very comfortable and there was nothing missing, the subway is quickly accessible and even at night you can get back quickly and well from Hamburg I'd love to stay again

Staying with Lilli was great! Quiet location in nice neighborhood for walks. Lilli lovingly prepared the house for the Christmas season, we felt very comfortable!

a lovely place to stay, with a helpful host. be aware that it is about a ten minute walk from the S1 train, and about a 40 mi.ute ride from there, into town, but this wasn't an issue at all.

It was great! Claudia is super nice and accommodating, also offered her accessibility in case of ambiguities, questions or problems:) There is more than enough space for 6 people (as the apartment is spread over two floors and really big, it offers plenty of space). Great also that you were allowed to use everything (large garden, washing machine, etc.). The public is close and easy to reach. Regarding parking, if you travel by car, you have to be a little lucky or look a little, but Claudia took care of the parking card:) In short, the place is highly recommended. If I travel to Hamburg again with a larger group, I'd love to stay here again!

Frauke's Airbnb is fantastic! Check-in to the lovingly furnished and clean Airbnb was easy and you immediately feel comfortable. There's everything you need. There is good shopping nearby and downtown Hamburg is easy and quick to reach. Frauke is also very likeable and friendly, always available and happy to give tips for staying in Hamburg. Can only recommend it!

We had a great stay at Katharina's apartment. Located in a nice neighborhood, wonderfully quiet but still many amenities around the corner and close to public transport. Apartment is very spacious, nice high rooms, actually more beautiful than in the photos. Due to permit system, parking is a bit more difficult, but a little further away you can buy day tickets or in garage nearby. We thought it was a great base from which to explore Hamburg!

A perfectly comfortable and equipped apartment, with more than welcoming and accommodating hosts. We were able to leave our luggage and go for a quiet walk having arrived very early. The location is ideal , around for the alternative and lively Sternschanze neighborhood to explore the south part of Hamburg on foot. Sybille is such a lovely host and I like to be in the apartment so much that I was there for the second time. It's big, clean, quiet, and the location can't be beat from my point of view. Everything is there in the kitchen, even for a slightly longer stay (I was there for a week). Make me feel at home and always happy to come back. Thank you again Sybille!

The apartment is super cozy and lovingly furnished We felt very comfortable right away. Kitchen and bathroom are tiptop equipped. You can walk wonderfully along the Elbe towards the center. By bus it is only 10 min to Altona train station. Thank you for letting us spend our time in Hamburg in this beautiful place:)

In principle, I have to say that the apartment even far exceeded my expectations. It is much more than an apartment. It's an industrial style designer piece. And yet cozy and functional. See you soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Marit and Willy's place! The place was clean, cozy, and lovingly decorated – you immediately feel welcome. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, always helpful and with valuable tips for the area. You can tell that they care about the well-being of their guests. We highly recommend staying with Margrit and Willy and would be happy to come back .

Already stayed here several times, always everything tip-top... in Norderstedt there is nothing better for me

This apartment is more spacious than what you can see on the photos. Each of the rooms is very big in comparison to most apartments I have seen. The mattresses were a little bit hard but we got used to them after about a week. We stayed for 4 weeks. The location is superb, it only took five minutes to walk to the nearest train station, which I need takes a few minutes to bring you into the city Centre. There were some nice touches on arrival. You get the basic kitchen fit out with a little bit of everything. We did miss: A second house key , a little more cupboard space for groceries, a microwave and a larger fridge, because we obviously stayed for quite a long time and did a lot of our own cooking. If you are deciding to stay for longer period of time, please note that no TV, and no laundry facilities are provided, as per the description. The floors were a bit loose and the wifi was playing up for half the time but the owners tried to fix both. We would return for shorter time.
