Barn accommodation in Alps

Letizia's place is beautiful. In the middle of the woods and olive fields but still about 10 min drive to Siena. The house has a beautiful open garden, our dog loved it. The little road leading to the house is a little bumpy but we were with a van and had no problem to get there. Apartment is well equipped and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Letizia's apartment and would love to come back!

The place was even nicer than the photos! The layout of the rooms was ideal for a weekend with friends and children. Nathalie always wrote back to us very quickly and tries to meet our requests. She has given us tips for excursions. The whole place looks welcoming and warm! Nathalie was also very flexible with checking out, we could have stayed until afternoon, which is a real plus with young children! Only when leaving the accommodation we were unsure where the garbage has to go, there was no briefing here.

The place was perfect! Leni was so welcoming and helpful and if I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stay there!

Very private and peaceful. Beautiful view and the house was well equipped and comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Chalet with paradisiacal views, we had the pleasure of seeing a herd of deer downstairs from the cottage every night and some mornings. Everything we could hope for was in the chalet (fondue, raclette,...) over-equipped kitchen and dream fireplace. We have absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was perfect, we had an unforgettable stay and will be back as soon as possible.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful and private with beautiful views. Lots of wonderful villages to visit and explore within a 30 minute drive. Norma made some great reservations for our anniversary dinner as well as a couple of great wine tours. She also gave us recommendations of which villages were best to visit and what to do there. We highly recommend doing the cooking lessons with her family. They are such a nice family and were very eager to show us how to cook a traditional Tuscan meal. Grandma really is an amazing cook. They even sat with us as a family to share what we had cooked. We have been to many AirBnB’s and Norma has been our best host by far. We would go back the next time we visit Tuscany. Dave and Liz

My husband, myself and our 19 yr old daughter had a wonderful 7 night stay here over Christmas. Isabelle is such a lovely and caring host. She had decorated the apartment so thoughtfully for the holidays making for a memorable Christmas Day. It was immaculately clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. While there were no wardrobes, this was no issue at all. There are ledges that run the length of the bedrooms and we placed our packing cubes of clothing on these which worked perfectly. As well there are hooks for hanging additional items. The village is quaint and quiet. We enjoyed drinking coffee every morning at the kitchen table looking at the view out the large windows and hearing the church bells. There is also a beautiful and easy 3mi. loop walking trail thru the vineyards/village accessible just a few minutes walk from the apt. We LOVED the nearby E.Leclerc Hypermarket for groceries and more. We would fully recommend a stay here!

We stayed in this beautiful rustic with our family (2 adults and 2 children) and the experience was simply perfect. The location is spectacular: secluded, quiet and surrounded by nature, ideal for those who want to regenerate and enjoy peace and silence. Don't expect the comforts of the city center, but just get organized! The little house is a small jewel, renovated with care and attention to detail. It offers all the necessary amenities, including towels and linen that are impeccably clean. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pleasant warmth and an extraordinarily clean environment. The location is also strategic to reach the Piana del Cansiglio, perfect for having fun in the snow and experiencing exciting winter days. A lovely place for a refreshing getaway in nature!

Me, my husband, and our dog Gina spent the days between Christmas and New Year's Eve in this magical place. Immersed in the silence of nature, we lived in total relaxation 5 days between Gina walks, readings and excursions in the neighboring villages where we found very good restaurants. The house is beautiful, even more beautiful than in the photo. Very bright, warm and equipped with every amenity. Jessica was immediately available for any need. You didn't need it because your home has all the cards in order to be a little slice of paradise! We left, with the desire to come back as soon as possible.

We had a fantastic stay here! It is a charming little Tuscan farm house and they even gifted us a bottle of some great local Chianti red wine as a gift. The hosts do not speak English but that was not an issue for us as one of the other co-hosts was able to message us in English which we only really needed for check-in communications. We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone staying in this area!

It was a lovely stay and an absolute perfect location for our stay. The villa is beautiful and has enough space to live together but also have some privacy. The restaurants nearby were breathtaking! We will come back. Thank you very much for being such a good host.

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). We had a very pleasant stay with Edgar and Paola, they were very deliberate and welcoming by nature always ready to help and chat. The Country House and its surroundings are magnificent and definitely worth returning to.

Christophe and Ingrid's place is really very pleasant, sober and neat decor, impeccable. It's almost a shame that we only stayed one night!!! Great stable for us!

A very nice House with a lot of room :)

I have just spent a week over Christmas with my family at this beautiful chalet which was equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen had everything for cooking family meals and I even baked a cake! We were a family of 11 adults ranging from 18-76 years old. The chalet is extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and the the lounge/ kitchen area is huge and brings all the family together. The fireplace is a lovely bonus, wood was plentiful. The house was warm and the sofas were very comfortable and fitted us all no problem. As we went at Christmas time the house was decorated beautifully and a real Christmas tree was in the kitchen area. It was just magical. We were also very lucky to have heavy snow fall whilst we were there so the scenery was very picturesque. There was a free bus just a few metres from the chalet to the ski resort which was great and so easy to use. I would highly recommend staying at this chalet, it was fantastic, we had an amazing week.

We had a great time at Stéphane's place: it's nicer than the photos and when you entered you could immediately smell the clean smell I love! Stéphane was full of attention to us and also made us find bubbles to celebrate the new year. The location is also strategic for getting to all the fairytale villages and castles nearby. Colmar can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Highly recommended

Great hosts, beautiful design apartment, suitable for families with literally everything you need (and more!). Town is small and quiet but has everything you need, Freiburg very easy accessible by car or public transportation.

Great place with a great view! it is an old farm, but beautifully restored. If you are over 1.90 m (like me), be careful not to bump your head. Other than that, can surely recommend it.

We found this late one night and luckily there were some open spots. Alessandro responded to us very quickly to inquiries. When we arrived yours we were impressed, it looked exactly like pictures and was very beautiful. It was very pleasant and peaceful there. Those who were there were very hospitable and helpful with all the requests. There is something off to things around but it is very recommended if you want to relax and relax. I would highly recommend.
