I stayed in Martyn's place before the race Buffalo Stampede and I could have not chose a better place. The location is central, close to the supermarket and to Sixpence. By car I could reach Mount Buffalo where I trained the most. The house has everything you need, very clean and well organised. He was also super helpful in replying to all my questions quickly. I really enjoyed staying here!

The snowgum chalet was absolute serenity. A very peaceful and romantic get away for me and my partner. The only noise was from the ducks and birds which we loved. Very private and secluded. Pool was cold but the hot spa made up for it. Wendy was very accomodating and efficient in her responses. Thankyou for having us - beautiful weekend :)

After about 3 weeks on the road with a van this place was perfect to just stay put for a bit longer and explore some hikes around Mount Buffalo and just relax. I added an extra night without a problem as I was just not quite ready to move on The kitchen was very well equipped. All rooms were immaculately clean. Great value for money! I highly recommend staying here.

A very easy walk into town from the location. Beautiful view over the mountain. You can also see kangaroos behind the house. Spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Huge living areas and great for a bunch of couples/singles. There is a coffee machine and the fridge has an ice machine. There is also laundry available.

We spent Christmas at Priscilla’s place and it was amazing! The house is in such a good location - it is peaceful and quiet yet able to walk to town within 10mins. The house itself had so much going for it - highlights for the kids was definitely the trampoline and all the kids toys/books. For the adults it was the welcome gift of local coffee and red wine. Not to mention the very very comfortable beds! Thanks so much for having us and making it such a special Christmas Priscilla!

We spent a lovely weekend celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Ideal location with stunning views of Mt Buffalo. Easy drive into Porepunkah and Bright. Lovely menagerie of animals too, alpacas, horses, chicken, a pig and four cats ! Dog friendly as well. Thoroughly recommend.

Even though there’s two other dwellings on the property you definitely feel like there’s plenty of privacy due to the greenery around the place. Such an amazing getaway for a peaceful rejuvenation. We loved every minute of our stay, the hosts are awesome, so friendly and had such an amazing recommendations of local places to see, eat. And, the dog Bailey is such a huge morale boost. We will certainly be back as this place is so central to so many amazing placed around to explore.

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The spa was warm and ready to be used upon arrival, which was wonderful after a 4-hour drive. We were also greeted with a couple of treats in the fridge. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. We felt right at home, and so did our fur babies. Thanks Carol.

We had a lovely weekend at Christie’s place. The apartment is very well located, with great views specially at sunrise and sunset. Close enough to walk to a restaurant at night. Place as described, comfortable beds and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend. There is a lot to do in the area, bike hire to go on trails was a great choice.

We had a wonderful stay at Saddler’s Stay! The cabin is beautifully decorated, and the views are stunning. Communication with Tandi was excellent from start to finish, making everything smooth and easy. We were a group of four adults and two small children, and the space was ideal for our needs. The bedding and linens were very comfortable, and the air conditioning in the main room was a lifesaver after a hot day by the river. Though there’s another cabin on the property, it’s far enough away that we felt completely private. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet only a short 6-minute drive to town. The kids especially loved feeding the goats and donkeys, and they had a blast roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Having a washer and dryer on hand was also very convenient with little ones. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would recommend Saddler’s Stay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings, yet close to the action in Bright!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in the Alpines! The property was spotless, with clean bathrooms and well-maintained amenities. The pool was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. The kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality utensils, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. One particularly helpful feature was the Tesla charger, which made traveling with our electric car incredibly convenient. The only downside was that the internet wasn’t working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. However, everything else about the house more than made up for it. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to coming back in the future!

We booked Kates place to celebrate our parents 70th birthday and it did not disappoint! You absolutely get what you pay for at this stunning property. It is spacious, peaceful, has everything you could need for a blissful stay and is impeccably clean. A nice walk into town but far enough away that you don’t notice the school holiday crowds. Incredible views of the mountains, lush grounds around the property and styled to perfection. We would highly recommend Kates home to future guests. Thanks Kate for your attention to details and for allowing us to experience your beautiful home this week. 10/10!
