Cabin holiday rentals in Alpena

The cabin was small, but perfect for two! It was a perfectly peaceful and enjoyable for a relaxing few days before Christmas, even had a beautiful tree put up as well! The area was sparse on “activities” other than outdoor activities, but it was a slow paced area that we were able to do some shopping, eating, hiking, and driving around! Overall a perfect little space for a weekend getaway, Will definitely be back!

Rachel was a great host. Very clean & well taken care of. Close & easy excess to orv/snowmobile trails. Plenty of parking & close to town. Will stay there again.

This place was so much fun! We rented it for a friends weekend get-away in the winter! We were doing the Polar Plunge at Perchville in Tawas and this place was relatively close. Since it was winter it attracted us for the hot tub and game cabin. It was amazing! We actually spent more time at the cabin than at Perchville. The place was cute and had everything we needed. It had upgraded appliances and new interior updates. Such a cozy place. Super close to the downtown area. There were no ping-pong balls in the game cabin though.. thankfully the party store had some beer-pong balls so we bought those and were able to play. Bonus they were orange so we could see them across the room! Sara was so responsive, the communication was fantastic. The very detailed instructions were great. We will be back for sure!!

What a fantastic cabin and host. it was exactly as described. The (12) of us had a great time inside and outside at this property. 6" of fresh snow added the perfect vibe. Thanks Phil, we look forward to coming back! You never know will WW may be hiding!

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

Had a nice relaxing stay with my family and pup. Place is as described. Very beautiful surroundings. Perfect place to stay for a northern Michigan winter getaway.

Very nice place for a get together for my sister’s birthday party. Close to town but still secluded for privacy. Pool table and hot tub were super nice. Definitely would stay again

We stayed for 8 nights. EVERYTHING in the house was as described in the listing - so spacious and comfortable! Everything worked well, and even the pots and pans were in good condition. The wall of one-way windows in the great room was awesome! It was like being in nature without actually being in nature :-). You could almost reach out and touch the family of deer and birds that stopped by each day. I set up my workstation there (wifi worked great) and even enjoyed having to work! One of my favorite parts of the experience was stepping outside into complete silence! Such a welcome change to the city. We also loved the snow! We were so pleased that Dustin's guy came by promptly to clear the driveway each time more snow fell. All in all, this was one of our most relaxing, picturesque, and care-free vacay's. Thanks, Dustin, for sharing your lovely home! It's on our "repeat list" for sure.

The cabin was pristine and exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place to get away from the city. It was great for snowshoeing and our dog loved running in the deep snow. The cabin was very clean loved the pellet stove and dancing to the records.

Our complements to Matt and Stacy. It’s a lovely little cabin. The location was excellent for the activities we planned. We were able to safely walk the dogs on the adjacent street and at the near by Aspen park where we also did some cross country skiing. Also only 9 minutes away from down hill skiing at Otsego Resort. The kitchen was adequately equipped for meal preparations. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. In summary, it’s a very cozy, comfortable place to stay.

Cozy, comfortable cabin for quick weekend trip to Pigeon River Country. Super clean and just what we needed while spending the days on the trail. Easy to get to the High Country Pathway, Lewiston, and Atlanta.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Big Buck Lodge. We liked the open floor plan, it was roomy and we loved the up north decor throughout. Everything was perfect and would love to go back.

Lake Huron is at your backdoor and Tawas Point State Park is really close. Sunrise is easy to view off the sunroom. We loved grabbing groceries in Tawas and exploring East Tawas for shopping.

Penny was amazing! The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. We arrived way later than what we intended on due to traffic and Penny was in constant communication with us during our trip. She even left the porch and kitchen lights on for us since we were arriving well after dark. Penny lives right next door, so if we ever needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately. She would even let us know when she was going to be gone for a bit so we were aware. I enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning with my coffee listening to the birds and other wildlife. So relaxing! My husband and son took the row boat out a few times and went fishing. We even did a bonfire our last night there and made smores. Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing stay. My children, My husband, and I, had an absolute blast! Richard’s cabin was the perfect place to spend our fall break vacation. It was 20 mins from downtown Grayling and 45 mins from downtown Gaylord, It felt secluded and like home. Would keep in mind for anyone booking that the wifi isn’t the best it’s very spotty but for us we wanted to disconnect a bit, so it wasn’t a big deal. Place was very clean, and host was very helpful. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a private little getaway!

This was such a beautiful location and perfect little cabin for a weekend away. The photos do not even do the location justice for how beautiful it is right on the water! Host was responsive when I had a question regarding how to use the heat and the area was quiet and peaceful. Truly a wonderful experience!

My husband and I loved this little cabin in the woods! Perfect for our relaxing getaway! We even imagined bringing our kids someday. We liked that it was secluded without being extremely far from good eating spots.

I live in the area of Kristin‘s rental. It was very convenient for my guests. Kristin was a great communicator!

Went for a 2 day golf trip to Forest Dunes, the cabin was about a mile from the entrance. Everything was very clean, new, and working in the cabin. I hope this place is available the next time we come back, would highly recommend.
