Beachfront holiday rental in Alnwick/Haldimand

Stunning place to camp and fish the photos don’t do it justice, will definitely be coming back already planning a trip for the spring

It was lots of fun. There was lots of board games to keep you entertained inside, as well as water activities provided. The cottage was well kept and everything is functional and working. There were two fire pits that avail us an option on either electric campfire or traditional. It was a great stay and would come back again for the peaceful great lake view.

We had an amazing stay at Oren‘s place. It’s a beautiful property, and the perfect place for a little getaway. Warren was extremely communicative and easy to reach. He helped us navigate through the house with ease. It accommodates up to 16 people and has 14 beds which was more than enough for my entire family. Will definitely be staying here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Izabella’s cottage! A great place to relax and spend time with family. Thank you so much! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cozy and welcoming space

Christine's cottage is super cozy, surrounded by beautiful nature. Being able to walk to Petroglyphs Provincial Park was amazing. The only downside is that there isn't really a kitchen - there is a hot plate, toaster over, microwave, BBQ and kettle, but no counter space, oven or sink. It was a bit awkward to cook meals. We still had a lovely stay! If you want to cook, plan accordingly! Thanks for the warm welcome and the beautiful little cottage! Side note: there were two of us and our dog, which was perfect. I will say, I think the place would be too tight for 6 adults to stay, even though it can sleep 6. 4 would be doable and cozy!

Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. I can confidently say that she's one of the best host I've ever encountered. Overall, we had a great experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. The trailer had everything we needed for a family vacation. The part of the trailer with the kids bunks was very spacious with a play area and there were toys and games for the kids to play with. The pool at the campground had two lifeguards at all times, which I was very happy with. The campground also had a small Beach with a lot of communal toys to share. Racheal was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We really appreciated that she let us know ahead of time that there was an event at the campground for the kids on the day that we were arriving so that we could be prepared and enjoy it. We did a day trip to the Warsaw caves which I would definitely recommend!

Quaint, peaceful and scenic stay for a relaxing weekend. The cabin was very clean and exceeded my expectations. The private beach across the cabins is an added bonus.

Great place to stay for a longer time like we needed. Frank was always very responsive. A good location as well, its not a long drive to shops and restaurants but the house itself is in a fairly quiet area. Would definitely stay here again if a need arises.

This was a fun, peaceful trailer park resort with amazing amenities and gorgeous surroundings. While the trailer homes were close to each other, the fact that it was a quiet family environment, and that our spot was positioned towards the woods and had just the right window dressings, meant that we still had all the privacy we wanted. We would definitely consider coming back again. Jacqueline's place was a great place to rest up after a fun day.

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

I stayed at Lakehouse on the Rocks with my two children and my friend's family of four and we had an amazing time! The location is beautiful and we were all able to unwind in their beautiful cottage. The kitchen is very well stocked. The layout is great with the two king rooms at the end of the hall. Each family had their own bathroom which was another plus! With all of the snow we didn't venture out into the area, but there was lots to do on the property. The hot tub was a top highlight! An accessibility note - there are many stairs to climb to enter the home. We found the back entrance off the deck a bit easier for loading and unloading. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone travelling with a large family or with multiple families! It was a dream in the winter and I can only imagine how lovely it is in the warm weather, too!

our stay was even better than we could have imagined. This property offers many amenities to make sure you enjoy the stay. The host is extremely responsive and helpful as well. We definitely plan on returning!

We were 8 guys (with possible of more) coming to see a sick friend who is unfortunately nearing the end of life. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The weekend was quite cold but the place was welcoming enough that we mostly stayed inside and caught up with old friends. Thank you so much for accommodating our group, you have a very special home!

This was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The fall colours were amazing, the property so peaceful. Kaitlin’s home was very spacious and clean…. It was a lot bigger in real life than what I imagined from the pictures. Kaitlin is a great host. She was very quick to respond to any of our questions. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

We had a great weekend with our group. Cottage is beautiful and well kept. Hosts are accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that you enjoy your stay. Would bring my family here every year if only they allowed dogs. Will be booking again!
