Hosted by a company rather than individuals , a guest expects a professional approach to the hosting role, and that is exactly what you get with Freola Holdings. The Apartment is one of several purpose-built within the relatively new company building, converted from the shell of an old school. With on-site allocated free parking adjacent to the secure front entrance to the building, which is in spacious surroundings in a recently re-developed area of Sunderland, the Apartment is superbly situated to get around and beyond the City, by car or on foot. The apartment itself (outer door also secure) is "minimalist" in design (echoing the old school "feel"), but contains everything you might need for a short/ longer stay. Not unexpectedly for a new development, it could benefit from a few very minor improvements (which I will list for Freola separately). Overall though, a first class place to stay, and whenever I visit my wife's family in the future, I will first look to re-book here.

I recently moved back to South Shields and stayed here whilst searching for a permanent rental and would highly recommend! The apartment looked exactly like the pictures, was spotless throughout and had all amenities you could need. The location was ideal; walking distance to the centre of South Shields as well as the beach with shops and restaurants on the doorstep, yet extremely peaceful inside. The bed was extremely comfortable. Colin made my stay great, he responded quickly throughout and even had the heating on before I arrived so the apartment was cosy when I got there. I ended up extending my stay privately with him. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great, clean and tidy accommodation. Close to the Metro making it easy to get into Newcastle. Plenty of space for the 2 of us. Great location and accommodation for a weekend

This was a lovely stay! The house was cozy and very clean, easy to find, clear instructions for everything, & had everything that we could have needed during our stay! The hosts were very responsive as well. We had a problem with the heater but they came and helped us out the next day directly! Thank you so much, we had an amazing stay :)

I couldn't recommend Will & Dawn's place more. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The instructions on how to find the place were detailed and Will was proactive in communication, ensuring we knew how to get there. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The place was done out to a very high spec. The pool was also a big draw which our four year old boy particularly enjoyed. The location was a great base for exploring Northumberland. We'll definitely be back

Apartment was absolutely perfect. It felt like we were staying in a friend’s place and every last detail was included. Location couldn’t be better and view across the Tyne was spot on. Communication with Nick was exactly how it should be, personal and fully assisting. In fact it felt like we were dealing with a friend rather than a blank profile as is the case with others. Really nice flat with lovely views over Roker Pier and the North Sea. It was very cold when we were there but the flat was warm and cosy. Peter / Helen were very welcoming.

Perfect town centre location and I felt right at home. As soon as I walked through the door I felt the peaceful atmosphere. Suzy is a great and thoughtful host even leaving milk in the fridge and a book gift! The bed was super comfy and I’d add that it was very quiet despite the central location. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment - exactly as described. Very quiet location in a residential area which was great to have for undisturbed sleep. Would have preferred TV in bedroom as I like to watch abit before sleep, however wouldn't have been an issue if I'd brought my ipad as there is WiFi available and this is just personal preference. Bed was extremely comfy, apartment clean. Lots of amenities such as fridge, cooker, kettle etc in Room One (the family room) Everything was thought of including free tea and coffee, spring and sparkling water and some yummy biscuits. Highly recommend for a one night stay like ours as a wedding guest at The Pumphouse Dalton or as a longer stay in Seaham. Thank you

Lovely apartment walking distance from everywhere you would want to go in Sunderland. Very responsive and accommodating host could not recommend more highly.

The property is beautiful but Billy and Gill made our stay extra special. They couldn’t do enough to help us feel at home. The apartment was clean, spacious, warm, safe, cosy and exactly as described. There is a large lounge to relax in with a great range of DVDS, games and books. We also had access to the games room which our boys were intrigued by and found a lovely Pinocchio book, Disney jigsaw puzzle and had a little go on the snooker table. But the stand out was the garden with treehouse, trampoline and ride on toys - our boys were obsessed - it was all perfect for our needs. Nice little extra touches were the welcome treats on arrival for both us and our kids and a bottle milk in the fridge. Billy and Gill always had time to talk and make sure everything was okay for us. I had a treatment with Gill which was amazing and would definitely recommend. Already planning our next trip at Stonelea House - thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely home.

I am thankful to Dushyant for his fantastic and friendly hosting. Dushyant's place is very secure and pleasing. The stay at this place is worth having good discussions and qualitative talks regarding the vacation around. I had a wonderful time at this place. The room as shown in the profile was the same, very up-to-date, crystal clean, and safe. The kitchen and washroom were clean and good to feel homely. Every aspect mentioned in the Airbnb Profile was the same as I experienced. This is rare to find. I would recommend him for the super host. He was genuine and supportive at times of any help. It's exactly what was needed. Two incredibly brilliant nights, in beautiful surroundings, in a very private set up. The size might put you off but it was actually perfectly comfortable if you intend you head out exploring and utilise the hot tub. It was really well equipped and furnished to suit all needs.

Tom was probably one of the best hosts we have had. Really informative and helpful without being over the top. Whenever we needed anything, he was quick to respond. Have great information on the area and even offered us a lift! Honestly, cannot fault him. Annexe was beautiful and clean, well maintained. Gorgeous area, lovely local pubs and the hot tub was filled with fresh water. Fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house, beautiful hot tub and gardens! Lovely welcome basket, clear instructions given and the host answered our phone call straight away when we were a bit confused as to which door to enter the property🤣. Would highly recommend!

Stayed here with a few friends and had a great time. Plenty of kitchen appliances to cook with and a clean space. Everything felt cosy and like you were at home. A great add on is the hot tub which was all sorted for us arriving! Would definitely recommend as it was a great find and easy to locate.
