What a wonderful get away! Our family stayed here about 2 years ago and had such a wonderful time. We couldn't wait to get back and it didn't disappoint! We had a wonderful stay and weather was great. Such a wonderful peaceful place. We always feel right at home. Craigs Creek is such a beautiful clean creek. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, canoeing and just hanging out in the water. Definitely will be back again. So thankful this host shares and blesses others by offering their place to others. For being where it is, Wi-Fi/internet works great and there is even a landline! Thanks again

What a beautiful spot! The front lawn down to the River and surrounding hills are breathtaking. So peaceful to sit on the front porch and listen to the birds and flowing water. We got a great picture of the horse next door in a misty morning fog. House was perfect for us, daughter & son-in-law and 2 grandkids. We would highly recommend. Thanks Joan.

We were in Clifton Forge for Uncle's 90th birthday--which happened to turn out to coincide with fall leaf changing season. We tried several other apps for hotels, bed & breakfasts, and were pleased with location of apartment not only in regards to where our uncle lived, but the downtown activities, art studios, and restaurants. Also, very nice for finding places to walk or run, whether you wanted to do the hills or stay in the flatlands along the river and train tracks. Turns out Shauna knew one of the cousins who lived and worked in town. We were also pleased with some of the extras like organic cream, eggs, and a variety of teas, coffees, and single service protein bars, cookies, oatmeal, and Halloween candy.

We had a great time. The house is comfortably furnished. On the river, quiet location, with campfire and great for dogs.

Gwen and Saul were great. Very accommodating, helpful recommendations, and genuinely nice. The cabin is perfect. The starry nights were incredible. This was exactly what we needed for our 5-year anniversary. We even were able to taste some nice center cut pork chops delivered direct from their farm! We can’t wait to come back, next time with kids.

Great place to stay in Clifton Forge. Nice backyard for the dog and a wonderful view overlooking the town. The apartment was just what we needed for our stay. We look forward to staying again when we return to the area. Jane is a great host and will respond quickly and make sure you are taken care of.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kit was so friendly and kind. Really enjoyed exploring your beautiful property. Amazing views of mountains and relaxing screen porch where you can hear the river below. Had everything we needed and more. Close to Douthat State Park. We would definitely come and stay again.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. The property is large and there is so much to see and do. We were looking for a peaceful and private mini-vacation and that was exactly what we got. We spent time walking the grounds and checking out the waterfalls with our 2 pups, who also loved it! The cottage was stocked with everything we could have needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We will 100% be coming back for another visit when it’s warm so we can swim in the crystal clear water. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

We've stayed at JoAnn's every Christmas for the past several years while in Clifton Forge visiting family, and we enjoy our stay each and every time. The house is well maintained and has everything guests need - she even takes the extra time and effort to decorate the house for Christmas!
