Holiday houses in Algonquin Highlands

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night break at Carol Ann’s cottage. From my initial enquiry to questions during our stay, Carol Ann was extremely responsive and super helpful. She popped by to check in and brought us a bin bag when we didn’t have one, we enjoyed chatting with her. The cottage is lovely, excellent amenities and extremely comfortable with lovely views of the lake. We made use of the paddle boat, kayak and SUP. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught small sunfish and bass. Madoc town is just 5 minutes away. It was an ideal spot for us to enjoy some family time, we would definitely stay again! Anatoly’s place was a fresh of breath air, away from the bustling city. My team gladly enjoyed the space which was clean and had all the amenities and more! Area is very private and gave awesome cottage vibes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the city!

We really enjoyed our stay at Muskoka Cabana. The location is stunning, right at the water's edge with beautiful, peaceful views of the lake. The outside deck is amazing and really spacious. We did feel that the access was a bit tricky, but I guess the location compensated for that. The cabana itself is really tastefully done, with beautiful homey touches and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall, this was a great stay.

Very nice spot to stay if you are in the area for either cross-country or downhill skiiing - very close for both! We would certainly book with Elijah again. High marks all around.

We spent two nights here and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and tidy, with all necessary amenities well provided. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. One thing to note is that the basement can be slightly colder than the upper floors during winter. As a male, I found it acceptable, but females might feel it’s a bit chilly. Overall, it’s a great place to stay.

Jen's place was a perfect venue for a get together with some old friends. We enjoyed the camp fire, sat on the dock, and took a walk on the nice trail that's just a short walk away. The cottage had everything we needed. Thanks for a great weekend!
