We loved our stay at ‘A little gem in the gum trees’. Lovely cosy house with everything we needed. Great quiet location, good playgrounds, cafes and restaurants close by. Angela was a very informative and prompt with communication. We’d definitely return again.

fantastic stay at Sharon's where our family of four had a great time 😌 it is recommended if you got young kids especially as you don't have to follow them around for safety in one big room. very clean and very much thought of for everything on offer. we loved it

You both are such wonderful people and it shows in the way you treated us—not just a guests but as friends. Your place was a home away from home indeed. It was comfortable, safe, cosy and well equipped. Spending time with you both was indeed the highlight of our trip. It was like visiting the parents. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home. I think my husband teared up a bit to see how our little one just loved you guys. Thank you for all the generous goodies-milk, cereal, yogurt, juice, chocolates, coffee machine, butter and so much more. Thank you for also showing our little one the possum and for inviting us in for a drink and a chat. It was so, so nice. Thank you, Kurt and Nan! Hope this is not goodbye, but “see you soon again”. Just glorious. What a beautiful place to stay. Judy and Neil were lovely hosts and the Great Hall had so many lovely touches, from the expansive range of LPs and CDs, to the styling of the space, to the fresh flowers and Neil's wonderful sourdough. There's obviously so much care and thought put into the space for others to enjoy. The space is gorgeous with the morning light, and wonderful to relax outside in the afternoon. I had every intention of exploring the local area but chose to stay in, reading and enjoying the sounds of the kookaburras and magpies. I feel like I had escaped from the world for a week, not just a weekend. I very much recommend listening to the CDs of Judy and Neil's own music too! I would love to come back again in the colder months to enjoy the fireplace. Even if it's a rainy weekend - to be nestled up in this space, switching off from the world, would be such a treat.

Loved the place and the fire pit. Such a lovely place to be. Nice and open plan. Tough with young kids and older folks trying to sleep, but we made it work. Close to the made road and Sovereign Hills. A little noisy from weekday traffic in the mornings, but not too bad. Very grateful for the lovely fire pit out the back that was VERY warm, and had a lovely time cooking a meal over it. Lovely BIG backyard for kids. Plenty of parking on the street as there is only one car space in the driveway. The bathrooms are as beautiful as they look!

This is the second time I visited this place, and all I can say is, I’d definitely visit again! The location is great, and the place had everything we needed. This would be a go-to place when I visit Ballarat. Troy is very clear and responsive with the communications, as always.

Great place and very close to everything you need in Ballarat. The sheets were lovely, beds very comfortable and the kitchen really well appointed, loved the coffee machine and it was thoughtful having bread, milk and butter ready for us on arrival.

Fatima was a very responsive host. Her communications ensured our check in was smooth and stay was enjoyable. The place was nice, clean and super spacious. Thank you Fatima
