It was a good stay, nice hosts

We really liked the house, we were very comfortable, very clean, very welcoming and with all the necessary equipment. With a backyard with a barbecue to enjoy. Cidlina always very helpful and attentive with us, the D. Estrela that welcomed us with open arms was very nice and very helpful and that helped us a lot with what we needed, and when we arrived we already had the salamander lit with the warm house, the oranges and some egg slices that he offered to us were very tasty. The region is quite beautiful and with many places to visit. We love and will return without fail as soon as possible. A thank you very much to Cidalina and to D. Estrela for all the care they had with us.

The house & location is in a very small village up in the North of Portugal. Perfect getaway for us coming from a busy part of Portugal! We enjoyed our stay at the place, and highly recommend it to anyone considering booking. It was clean, super spacious & had a trampoline & small climbing course for my kids!

Thank you Liesbet and João, for the beautiful place to get away and relax surrounded by animals and nature. No city lights so a great place for seeing the stars at night. Liesbet is a very gracious and helpful hostess, great communication. Enjoyed a fantastic horseback ride around the area lead by Joao, a magical ride! Far enough away for a few days or weeks of relaxation surrounded by nature, but it also allows you to do some sightseeing. In an hour drive you can be in Coímbra or Aveiro. Also, nearby you have all kinds of services like restaurants or supermarkets.

Seguro que vamos voltar! We had a family gathering, and everyone was thrilled with the house, its excellent condition, the leisure and meals areas. The place is well-furnished and very comfortable. The reception was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. We're certain we'll return!

We stayed for 4 nights at this peaceful and secluded farmhouse, visiting friends in neighbouring Castelo Branco. Rogério was there to meet us after an 8 hour drive from Southern Spain with a welcoming drink and home made pastries and he spent 45 minutes explaining about the location and its history; he really is super friendly. The house truly is a home from home filled with his treasures, games and even a keyboard. As mentioned in other reviews the dog did bark constantly but Rogerio had already flagged this and offered to move him. we used the house only as a base however and he did not unduly bother us. It was a great stay and we made full use of the wood burning fire which kept the house cosy and warm however it did smoke a bit leaving everything we owned with a memorable dour of woodsmoke. It’s great value and our friends who live in the area visited one evening and fell in love with its rustic charm, they are going to book a couple of nights for themselves in the summer.

I stayed for a weekend a couple with the aim of staying with a view of the mountains and going to get to know the surroundings a little and we were very well received, super helpful and considerate. We were allowed places to visit in the vicinity and the friendliness as well as the availability were always present on the part of both of them. Casa that matches the photos, which does not always happen and with a tremendous quiet. I recommend
