The place is beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice. Very clean, cozy and quiet. We will be back.

This place was just what we needed. peaceful and very clean. lots of sleeping options. wish the lake was higher but that's not something you can control. don't judge a book by the cover. it's lovely inside. and the porch was lovely. the dogs and kids loved the yard.

Our stay at “The Cabin” was so awesome! It made for a great little getaway and was not far from our deer lease! Everything was just as described and everything was super clean. They really thought through all of the little details. We will definitely be staying here again! We can’t wait to bring our kids and also check out the winery once it’s ready.

What can I say? This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Walking up to the entrance, we were greeted by a personalized welcome message on the TV—such a thoughtful touch! Entry was seamless with the provided code, making check-in effortless. The home had a delightful aroma, complemented by stunning decor, beautifully done for the holiday season. Thoughtful details like the coffee bar and snacks made it even more special. The view was breathtaking, perfectly situated to enjoy the sunrise right from the living room. And the mattress in the master bedroom… My husband and I both commented that it was so much more comfortable than our expensive name brand adjustable bed at home! This is the perfect place to stay, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Plenty of room for everybody, nice and quite, the view is nice.

We celebrated a late Christmas gathering with my family from in and around the Abilene area. Mary’s house was exactly the place we needed, pet friendly and large enough for a family to gather. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Heavenly Hideaway was perfect and met our needs. The house had everything that was promised and more. Kevin was incredibly responsive and in fact, proactive. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Everything was great for my family, lots of fun & a lot to do

Pirates cove was a great place to stay with my babies. We wanted a middle meeting spot for my college kid that didn’t mean driving 6 hours on his part. My daughter’s birthday was celebrated, we cooked Thanksgiving supper, and spent a couple days doing nothing. My kids said it was the best and didn’t want to leave. Our cousins live in nearby so they popped by to visit and watch a movie with us and they took my kids fishing in the cold (catch and release). We used space heaters and the heat unit for the unexpected cold snap. The warm weather day woke up some yellow jackets (5 +) inside. We found their entry point so the day was saved and we had a giggle about the invasion. The decor is super cute, we took turns doing dishes, and slept like rocks. I didn’t want to leave either. When we messaged about the space heater location Rachel was helpful but I had missed what closet they were in. The Amazon stick had corroded batteries and didn’t work (not the host fault) it happens.

Felt just like home! Super cozy and comfortable. Loved the front screen door, hearing the birds and leaves rustling out front was peaceful. Would definitely stay again!

The place is easy to find and is a nice getaway from city life. Brent is very friendly and is available and accommodating with any concerns. The property is well maintained and the different levels going down to the water are great for eating, sitting by the fire, etc. We will be sure to return when the weather isn’t too cold.
