Love everything about it

this place has such a good location. our unit faces the sea, so watching the sunset, and enjoying the breeze, is a very relaxing thing to do here. they also have their beach. some performances are done there as well. the staffs are friendly as well, so cun la. would repeat again later. thumbs up!

Comfortable and clean apartment. I like it because all rooms including living hall has an aircond. The unit has a lot of beds which is very convenient for big families. They did provide shower gel, shampoo and towels. The cons is the unit does not have any yard or balcony to hang dry your clothes. They did provide washing machine but no dryer. They also provide a kettle but no water dispenser or mineral water so bear in mind to prepare your own mineral water. Overall i will recommend the unit to my family and friends.

Noraini is an excellent host, responsive, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. The house is cozy, spotless, and well-equipped, with everything in great condition. You’ll feel right at home! Its location is perfect for exploring Penang and offers an authentic local experience. I had a fantastic time and would love to stay here again :)

Great location! Walkable distance to gurney bay (in my opinion), I did walk to my work place. Clear instructions from Charles. I am really appreciate that Charles actually stayed up till 4am to wait for me. (Check-in). Great place and definitely will stay again during next trip here in Penang. Thank you!

It’s a 2+1 dual key unit! The view from our unit is splendid!! Each rooms had their own spectacular view! We went in a group of family w children, all of my family members loved it and enjoyed it! Location wise is great as well for both self driving or public transportation! Will definitely rebook! The only downside is the parking is on 9th floor but the host did informed up front. So no issue on that 🌹

the unit was different from the photo that they show in the site then last during our check in they change our unit number last minute however the unit is clean and comfortble to stay in. We just find it more convenient if we stay in the first unit which is block 1A instead of 1B

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and feel at home. Its location was perfect – within walking distance to a variety of fantastic food outlets and popular sights, making it super convenient for exploring the area. One of the standout features was how beautifully designed the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom were; I picked up several great design ideas that I could definitely see incorporating into my own home. The host was also fantastic – very responsive and quick to reply, ensuring everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, style, and a great location!

we really enjoyed our time here. I'm Australian and it reminded me of an Australian beach style apartment. The exterior looks outdated but the interior is clean and modern. our host responded quickly when we had questions and was kind enough to lend us her Hard Rock pool pass. The location is perfect walking distance to the beach, markets and restaurants. Also easy to get a Grab to take you 5 minutes down the road to various tourist attractions. Thanks for a great stay!

Shi's place was a nice stay. The unit is good size, and is very well equipped. There are a few restaurants and cafes around, with a nice grocery store across the street. It is technically within walking distance of Gurney and Quayside, but with the weather I only did those walks in the evening when it's cooler. Otherwise I took Grab. A few downsides, as others have mentioned, the building has lots of Airbnb's and the lifts can become quite busy. Also the unit is a few stories above the pool, which can be a bit noisy in the mornings if you are a later sleeper.

We really enjoyed our stay, Alex our host was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He gave great recommendations leading us to one of our favourite restaurants of the trip. The apartment itself is clean, beautiful and calming decor, with a microwave, induction hob, washing machine and fridge, which all came in handy as we had to extend our stay, and choose to cook and eat at home some of the days. We loved Penang, the apartment is only 15 mins from Georgetown and taxis are really reasonable, as well as being only 11 mins from the nearest bus stop, so it was a great location too.

great location, with lots to do, good restaurants and bar, the location is one of the few dog friendly locations in penang. the apartment is nice and well located, it was clean and tidy

We stayed at this lovely appartment for 5 weeks and it had all the comforts and ammenities for a long stay. it was a little bigger than the photos suggest. The pool was excellent and much larger than most with enough beds and shade. There were a number of good restuarants in the mall which were very convenient. If you want a more local Penang night market experience there is the very good Hub 33 night market about a 15 min walk away. We ate there most nights as it was good , simple food, a lot of variety and very cheap. It is a little way out from Georgetown central but easy to get in/out either via Grab or by bus (101) from outside the Lotus mall. Just be aware if you go over Chinese New Year due to demand Grab can take a little longer and is a bit more expensive. Nikky was very responsive to messages and information. Overall an amazing stay in Nikkys apparment and in Penang. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Straitsquay. The Suite was clean and the bed very comfortable. We went swimming every day in one of the 3 Pools in the Complex. The Supermarket is very near and lots of international restaurants downstairs. Our Host - Johnson was very reliable, helpful and kind.
