Had a great break at Anthony's lovely cottage. The weather was gloomy but was so good to return to a cosy home after a walk in the hills just behind the house. Hope we can return in the growing season to see it at it's best.

Your fun mansion with views, chef* hot tubs* +more

GillianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked Roland's place very last minute (the day before) and he very quickly rallied his cleaning staff to get the house ready for us. 22 adults plus 2 children and one dog stayed for an 80th birthday celebration and we couldn't have chosen better. It was warm and homely, comfy beds and very quiet. Lots of room for a big gathering. Roland filled the decanters in the birthday girls room which was very kind of him. I would highly recommend his house.

Rattlebeck Farm Cottage & Hot Tub *Pet Friendly*

JasonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. We arrived just after over a foot of snow had settled so getting down the long drive was difficult for us. After speaking with Amy, her father was there within the hour with his tractor clearing the entire drive of the snow. Can't fault the support and the place was stunning.

Luxury 1 bed Villa - great location - Peaceful

LaurenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Stayed here the first week in the New Year to “escape” after the chaos of Christmas. Beautiful spacious home, surrounded by beautiful views. Very peaceful and tranquil. The house is so cosy with the log burning fire. The hot-tub with the TV was perfect for relaxing after a walk into Bowness. Would highly recommend this property. The owners were fabulous and were on hand every time we needed them. A bag of logs were left at the door everyday to ensure we could keep the fire going (didn’t need the fire for heat, as the house was perfectly warm) but loved lighting the fire for coziness. A wonderful, relaxing week in a beautiful home. Will definitely book again.

Maple Leaf Cottage, Windermere, The Lake District.

PaulRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just home from three days at Maple Leaf cottage with family. The cottage was tastefully decorated throughout and spacious and immaculately clean. Best of all was the location. Just two mins walk from both the rail station, buses and local pubs. Plus only a mile or so from Bowness pier.

It is with regret that I have to write such a positive review, as it might mean this property is then unavailable for when I want to stay again 🤣 This property, the hosting, the location were all perfect!! This is the best property I have ever stayed in. It is immaculate. It is friendly, warm, homely. We stayed for the weekend and have said we wish we could stay here for a week or longer. Thank you 😊

Solway Marsh Cottage 5 miles from M6.Jct 44

PatriciaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We were given clear instructions on how to find the property and how to get inside. The cottage was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. As it was over New Year, we chose to bring food and cook it but there was a village nearby for supplies. We had our 2 dogs with us and even they were catered for. The mud/wet room was great and a towel was provided for cleaning the pups paws. The garden area was adequately enclosed. The view was gorgeous. It would be even more beautiful in the warmer weather.

Large family, wheelchair friendly with a hot tub

LeeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at the Chapel over Christmas and was very impressed with the property and facilities. There was enough room for all of us (13 people). The views were spectacular even in the fog. The kitchen was well stocked i.e. had most utensils we needed. Bedrooms were spacious as were the ensuites and master bathroom and communal areas. Hot tub was a bonus! Constructive feedback (none of which detracted from our experience): The Wii console had only one working remote. Could have done with an airfryer (but this is personal preference). Pool table wasn't level but this made it more of a challenge 😅 A note regarding the ev charger being a standard uk plug would have been helpful but there are chargers within a few miles. Overall we we had a great experience and would highly recommend the Chapel to anyone. Thanks to Christian and family for the new memories!!

Mountain Cottage - Quirky at it's best

BridgetRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely 3 night break at Mountain Cottage. It's in a beautiful elevated position in Coniston and was walkable to the shops/pubs in the village. The layout worked perfectly for us - as the two bedrooms are well away from each other, and the extra single bedroom is useful if you have snoring issues! We felt really at home here and it was warm and cosy. The outside pavers/patio/steps were very slippy so do take care, and the parking space needs approaching in a very low gear - watch the video on the guide and you'll be fine. Overall we felt Mountain Cottage was a home from home and great value for money.

Great little apartment. Pristine. We arrived a little early and expected to explore the town, but Philip was happy for us to check in and showed us how everything worked. Very comfortable. Near amenities. Lovely break 👍
