Very nice place, calm, confortable in in the middle of nature. The main beach was fantastic and the one next was great for swiming. Activities were amazing. Samuel is super nice, he helped us organising nany visits and trips. The restaurant is also great with vegeterian menu too. All in All we had a wonderful time, and we certainly be back. Thanks to Samuel and his family to make our stay unforgatable.

Amazing view. Simple and clean space as described. In the middle of nature, note that you have to climb a lot of steps to get there. Shared kitchen with everything you need to cook and dining room with views of the bay too, beautiful. Very nice and helpful host. And at the bottom of the accommodation 1 very good restaurant. Note that we chose to arrive in Drake bay by 4x4 car rather than by boat., By the track it's done well. I would recommend this place for nature lovers.

The best place to stay in Drake hands down enjoy the soccer field below the house as the local kids were playing overlooking the ocean watching the boats come and go enjoy the hammock on the porch. Really nice bathroom would definitely recommend.

Christian and his wife provided a very comfortable and enjoyable experience during our stay with them in Drakes Bay. From the Boat pick up to the food and room accommodations, all were beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay at Cabina Yaseth again. Pura Vida!

Fantastic little place! There are 3 cabins for guests on his lovely garden property. Basic but yet have everything you need to be comfortable and feel right at home. After our daily jungle hikes every afternoon we would rest in the hammocks on our front porch and watch the endless toucans, parrots etc fly by and play in the trees around us. There is No a/c but the beach breezes and fan at night with sounds of the ocean were comfortable enough for us. It took approx 5 min to walk from the beach up to the cabins via a little trail. If you have any mobility issues it is not for you, it’s a steep uphill walk. Guillermo was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. He helped coordinate our luggage to and from his place as we arrived by foot hiking the Drake trail from Drake bay and departed by boat straight from our day at San Pedrillo. Breakfast was served at whatever time suited you and we enjoyed the homemade meals esp fresh fish and his wife’s bread/cheese. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay. Giovanni was very attentive and welcomed us in person on arrival. Provided us with many local recommendations and set us up for guided tour of the national park. Home is nestled in a very tranquil location surrounded by nature and a very short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this property and hosts.

Wonderful location. The main living area is open air and we really enjoyed that aspect. The three bedrooms each have their own bathroom and air conditioning which was perfect for sleeping. The area is green and we heard howler monkeys and saw lots of birds. The beach is a short walk down a path and beautiful and quite private. The house is off a main road and easy to find, within 10 mins to Uvita for restaurants and groceries. The pool was very refreshing. The only thing to note is that there is a second identical house right next door—you can hear the folks staying next door since both houses are open air. This would make it a really perfect set up for two families or several people who want to stay together but each have their own houses.

Staying at Casa Madura was truly the experience of a lifetime! Rick has created a laidback abode that allows for the perfect balance between indoor and outdoor living. The covered porch and hammocks provided the perfect perch to watch the "monkey T.V." playing out in the surrounding wild, jungle landscape. The ocean is literally steps away and with my sister and brother-in-law in Casa Dulce we were able to watch the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean and hop back and forth between both houses. With multiple beaches in walking distance and Martina's restaurant right down the road - we had a blissful, car-free week and enjoyed slowing down with the tides. Rick is extremely responsive to anything you need and Erick and Theresa are always there to help. The added bonus of the pickleball court provided for some fun family time.

We had a wonderful time in the modern apartment in Uvita, Costa Rica! The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped, which immediately made us feel comfortable. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward – all the important information was shared quickly and clearly. The apartment is in a beautiful area and was the perfect base from which to explore the surroundings.

We had a wonderful time staying at Amanda and Jay’s place. The cabin has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and we appreciated the attention to details like high quality cooking appliances, comfortable beds, awesome pool area and everything being spotlessly clean. The use of the kayaks and paddle boards allowed us to explore the golfo and all of its wonders. Seeing turtles, rays and dolphins right from a kayak was a highlight. What made our stay extra special was Amanda and her wonderful family. We were made to feel like family, and our kids making friends with each other was wonderful. We highly recommend this property for families.

Don't hesitate—this is the best home in the area! Conveniently located, with easy access right off the Costanera highway... and literally on the beach. This house has it all. You are five minutes from so many great restaurants in Uvita in one direction and five minutes to great restaurants in Ojochal in the other direction. (Get the Tuna at Heliconia!) Easily plan day trips to every area waterfall and adventure tour. Wake up every morning to the sound of the birds and the waves. You could not ask for greater hosts that Natalia and Dave. Enjoy your stay!

We (me, my husband and two sones - 7 and 9 years old) stayed at Sandy’s beautiful house for 7 nights and loved it. The house is rustic and open air and you really feel the jungle all around you - from the crashing of the waves on the beach that is steps away, to the morning choir of parrots and monkeys in the garden. Cooking in the kitchen with nature all around was really special and just want we needed to disconnect from our otherwise busy lives. The housekeeper came every most days, and the house caretaker was amazing - checking in with us each day to make sure that everything was ok, and helping us organize great day trips from Corcovado National Park, to zip lining and waterfall hikes. There are a few places near by to get lunch/ dinner (Encanta La Vida, Martines, Lapa Rios) if you don’t want to cook all the time, and they also organized for someone to come and cook for us at home one night. The beach is really beautiful - nothing beats having it on your doorstep.

The apartment is excellent, very clean, quiet, a haven of peace, a 5-minute walk from a beautiful beach. A very calm and wonderful place. Sara has been very friendly and welcoming, proactive. I recommend it honestly. We'll be back for sure !

Las Cotingas is a lovely hotel in the heart of Drake Bay, steps away from several great restaurants and 2 mins from the beach! Most of the tours depart straight from the beach so the location is really handy. The management team was very helpful coordinating tours, breakfast was great and served early :) The apartment itself is spacious and the outdoor area with hammocks is a perfect spot to relax after exploring Corcovado or Isla de Cano. Definitely recommend!

Unbelievable!!! It was hard to leave. We had two babies in our group which meant we had a ton of stuff and Carlos was amazing in helping us to get it up to the house. The Osa is remote which typically comes with some sturggles, not here. The beach is amazing, the hikes are amazing, the view is amazing. This is paradise.

Amazing Location!!! The view from the front porch was so peaceful and beautiful with LOVELY PEOPLE , we loved the stay there and we also loved the service there. Samuel was a great help for us because we had to drive 3 hour for us to go fishing. Samuel called to agree with someone, so the boat can be closer to us and we just had to drive 20 minutes. we were so thankful for the help. Whoever love’s the wildlife and animals I recommend coming here!

Great location in the center of Drake village. Easy walking to shops and restaurants and beach. Great for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Spectacular views. Very clean. Vincent was extremely responsive and helped us in advance of our trip with transfers and also boat reservations while we were here. Just great. Would certainly stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at la Joyita! The cabin was amazingly built by our host Peter and a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook and bbq dinner every night. The bed was very comfortable and we were provided fresh clean sheets and towels throughout our stay. Our hosts Peter and Karin were extremely helpful and assisted us in setting up tours to see the national park and go snorkeling. The cabin was steps from a gorgeous private beach and from there we could walk for miles of beautiful undeveloped beach and coastline. We felt at home and were very sad to leave. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of paradise and could not recommend la joyita enough. 10/10.
