Beachfront holiday rental in Acquaviva Platani

The house was spotless and and had all amenities. The kitchen was very well equipped. The rooms had very comfortable beds and air conditioning. Gabriele showed us the house upon our arrival, she was for a long time explaining everything, and she was always available. The only thing to keep in mind in this house is that the access is down a very narrow street. Small cars have a good time. Wide cars like the one they gave me in the rent-a-car (a dr brand car, which by the way I don't recommend to anyone), they also happen although you have to be careful. Otherwise, the perfect house and Gabriele a great host

It was a perfect stay, the apartment is huge, especially for two persons...it was fully equipped, every room is air-conditioned, and parking is easy and comfortable in the private car-park. Beach is really close, few minutes walk. Communication with host was good, but check-in and greeting are managed by Antonietta, the neighbour, who is the kindest person in the world...We would return for sure, definitely deserves the five stars!!

We (2P.) experienced very good days in this beautiful place in mid-September. The garden with its many trees and plants is paradise; we had grapes, oranges, cactus figs, lemons, rosemary, basil, oregano …. In the kitchen there is everything it needs. The nearby beach (2min.) is great and we took long walks on the beach every day. There were few other people. The water is refreshing and clean. We have recovered well in this tranquility and the sound of the sea is still wonderful to hear at night..... We enjoyed the evenings under the covered veranda. The path to the beach leads over a short little dune and then - 50m north - there is a restaurant with fine food.

Wonderful peaceful place. It is a simple and a bit rustic space but the location, the silence, the ocean waves, the nature around it are just beautiful. Exactly what you need to disconnect. You need a car to get there and away but if you have it its also well located to visit sights around and you have wonderful beaches close by. Girolamo and his son Alonso made everything very easy and were quick to respond any question. We would definitely like to come again.

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Villa Carubbo exceeded our expectations. It offers beautiful views and absolute silence. Comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen.

Nonna Giuseppina House is a wonderful location and matched any description given on Airbnb. You have a great view of the sea and a wild and empty beach close to the house. The house is authentically furnished, big and beautiful. Each room has its own bathroom which suited us perfectly. Bruno and Licia were very responsive, helpful and caring. We had a great time.

We had a great time at Enzo's. The location was ideal close to Cefalu we were able to safely park our car. Very pleasant host, active and reachable. The space was very clean and the bedding impeccable. We will be back! Thanks again Enzo!

This place was great. Nino was very helpful and kind. Nino’s dog Oscar was playful and helped us by reminding us of our dog back home. Place is beautiful and peaceful. Great place to relax all day or back from a day trips. When I am back in Sicily I would stay here again. Nino, Oscar, and the location made our first trip to Sicily a great one. Thank you Nino.

Giuseppe is such a friendly and knowledgeable host. We had a wonderful time, felt at home and 100% recommend the place. We were two adults and two girls had enough space. The place is a great starting point for many excursions.

amazing pool and outdoor living space.

This home was a true gem! It was tucked away on a hillside with outstanding views! The outdoor space was unique - we wish we had better weather to enjoy it more! However, there is a covered porch with very comfortable furniture to use even on rainy days. We had 6 adults in the house for the week of Christmas and there was enough room for everyone to have private bedrooms and bathrooms. Even with many restaurants closed for December, there was a cafe and bar open every day 100 meters away and a local grocery store. Marco was able to recommend a wonderful chef that came to the house multiple times and prepared amazing food with only local ingredients. Cefalu city center is only 12 minutes away by car and has every other amenity you might need. Marco's home is a quiet, peaceful getaway. We hope to return!

We received a very warm welcome from Giuliana and her family. We were immediately impressed, the house is even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. The house is wonderfully furnished and decorated! Nothing was missing and everything worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the pool, especially the water feature with the waterfall and the massage jets. The sunsets from the terrace were a dream. The view, even during the day, is outstanding. The whirlpool is certainly the highlight. Giuliana was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We also received great recommendations for the area. We had a wonderful time at Villa Deolinda and would love to come back. An absolute recommendation!

The most amazing view from the terrace of the apartment. The bathroom was brand new with a great shower. Walking distance to a lovely little village with a few restaurants and a shop. The bedroom and sitting room were a bit dated but overall a good Airbnb and good value

The accommodation is very pleasant and in pristine condition. The beach within walking distance is a real plus as well as the pool.

The house is very comfortable and functional. Giovanni is hospitable and helpful. All the information is as described. Nice, fenced garden, good places for a dog. This was the best house we rented during our travels. The beach is close, a bit rocky, but you can walk a long way. Nearby Campofelice is a lovely village, from the terrace of the local restaurant there is a beautiful view of the sea and the tower. Easy to reach by train to Palermo and the airport. However, it is good to have a car, for convenience of shopping and local trips.

The appartement has a pretty garden with a terrace. Really close to a nice beach, just about 3 minutes walk. We can highly recommend this place. Quiet and clean.

The place was perfect, everything as described in the advertisement. Communication with Guiseppe was great, he showed us everything on site and was always available. We will definitely come back again.

We enjoyed a quiet few days at Marco’s place. The outdoor area is beautiful and there was no one around in any of the neighbouring villas so very private. There was a lot of space inside and out. The beach is rocky so water shoes are helpful, and it does get pretty deep quickly but we enjoyed swimming daily. The tunnel to get under the roadway and to the villa is tight, about 6ft wide as the listing mentions, we just managed to get our rental car through (Citron C3) buy pulling the mirrors in. But there is parking on the main road if you can’t get in. Marco was very quick to respond and provided a lot of local recommendations. It was under an hour to both Palermo and Cefalu; a great quiet spot if you want some peace and quiet.

This house was perfection! Miki met us and showed us everything we needed to know. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and it’s so peaceful to sit outside and listen to the waves crashing. There are several restaurants nearby, and the ones we tried were very good. Miki recommended Sapore de Mare, and it was exceptional. The seafood was so fresh, and our server Rita was so great at her job and her fun personality made our experience all the better! Everything was just fantastic! Miki and his lovely wife are gracious hosts. 10/10 recommend!!

Such an amazing please. Even better as the pictures, huge garden which we our kid of two and dog enjoyed. Fresh citrus fruits that you can pick from the trees. Lovely sand beach that we enjoyed even during winter. Giovanni is a very nice guy, great tips in the area and booked us a great restaurant for new years day. Lovely stay!! We will be back :)

A great place to stay , with a beautiful garden and views . We had the beach almost to ourselves . The place was really great and the host helped and responded to questions right away.

Wow, our favourite Airbnb ever!!! The view is spectacular and we spent lots of time taking it in from the apartment :D Vincenzo was easy to communicate with and always fast at replying if we had any questions. The place was well equipped with the essentials which made our trip seamless. We already want to come back, so thank you to our hosts!!! <3
