Beautifuly furnished house ,perfect for a weekend with friends. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained & just what we needed to relax. Jo was a friedly & very helpful host ,I would recomend anyone to come & stay at this beautiful peaceful location . Thank you for a lovley weekend at you tranquil home .

We had a great stay at Edward's place. We were a large family group meeting up for New years. The house has lots of character, and is set in beautiful surroundings. The only things I would say that could do with improving would be using one of the rooms as a social space as the kitchen isn't big enough for cooking. eating and socialising. Also, some of the matresses weren't as comfortable as I would hope for which didn't make for a great night's sleep. But overall, it's a lovely house and the host is very welcoming and reaponsive. I would definitely recommend this place for others to stay in.

It was a peaceful stay and perfect if you just want to get away for a couple of nights. The lodge was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was a great added bonus.

We enjoyed a wonderful week and were thrilled to see the tasteful decorations and Christmas tree which put us in the festive mood! The house suited us well and we enjoyed lovely family meals around the perfect sized table. Thank you so much!

we loved staying at this amazing home. the games cabin is a perfect place for socialising and relaxing. a very well equipped kitchen. comfortable beds and a great host who was extremely helpful. highly recommend and we are staying again next week

A lovely lodge in a beautiful and peaceful site. The lodge was well kept and comfortable - we felt right at home straight away. Only regret is not staying longer!

Richard and Kim were amazing hosts, we had a few problems before arrival and they were understanding, accommodating and offered to help us with a solution, although this wasn’t needed in the end. Richard was very responsive with any questions and helped make our stay easier with information on local taxi firms. The cottage was beautiful and peaceful and we had everything we needed. The log fireplaces were a delight and much appreciated in the cold weather The outdoor spaces are equally spectacular.

Fantastic stay for new years celebrations, Katie was really helpful and always there if you needed anything, the barn has everything you need for a great break away, would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. It’s feels like you are in the middle of nowhere whilst having Leeds directly on your doorstep at the same time. The finishing touches out in by Nicola were lovely and helped to make our stay very special. We hope to return soon.

We had an amazing stay at Pauline and Graham’s! Pauline welcomed us and showed us around and then gave us our space. The house is cosy and yet spacious. Everything was clean and tidy. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Pauline and Graham had provided bread, eggs, cereals, milk & butter on arrival of our stay. There is a thermostat to control the heating so we were never too cold or too warm. It was great waking up and seeing all the birds outside the window - they have lots of bird houses and feeders. Great stay! We would definitely stay again!

the place itself is wonderful there's no doubt about it we really enjoyed it and Christina and jonny they're wonderful couple, cooperative, friendly and I would recommend this place.

Perfect location to switch off with great views and plenty of privacy whilst being brilliantly situated to explore the local towns and walks. Really friendly and flexible host. I'll will certainly stay again when back in the area.

Philippa's place was absolutely ideal for our short Town-break! An easy stroll into the centre with cosy pubs and bars along the way, and a fantastic choice of restaurants in the Town itself!

Darren and Matt were both extremely accommodating and the apartment couldn't have been better. The location was perfect, plenty of space in the apartment and a nice balcony to sit out on as well! If I was to stay in Leeds again, I would 100% book this apartment again.

Our first time at Milliners Cottage but we’ve stayed with Helen & Patrick a number of times before at Carpenters cottage. A very high standard of accommodation and very cosy and comfortable. Always a pleasure and look forward to our next stay.

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect, right from the very clear and responsive communication with Caroline, through to the ease to find/park and get into the property. Once inside it was evident that the place was clean, well maintained and stocked with essentials, located on a quiet road (with own parking space\) a very shot (15 minute) walk into central York. The house was exactly as advertised and was a wonderful place to explore from - our girls loved the small touches around books/games in their room and the open plan living/kitchen and dining space. Their were recommendations and helpful information around for us to review/read, which was very useful. So many nice 'touches' made the whole stay very enjoyable. Thank you, Caroline - we will be back.

Excellent host and made Sure the whole process ran smoothly In a great location to walk into York , the railway and railway museum. The accommodation had everything required. Would definitely recommend and would return .

This modern apartment was perfect for our short break in York. It’s really close to the station, and very well located close to the City centre. It was also very quiet. The beds were comfy and the place was absolutely spotless. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!
