Holiday houses in Abercrombie

Our group was very comfortable in the home and enjoyed utilizing the full kitchen to cook our own meals. The house was very clean and had all that we expected! There are lots of lighting options: big windows, overhead lights, lots of lamps. Once you figure out all the light switches (there are a lot), you're good.

Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

Our stay here was just perfect! The place is so extremely clean (both the main house and guest house), has eveything you need, the yard is big and so well maintained, the views are stunning, the lake just steps away is quiet and peaceful (we caught so many fish!), the guest house was so fun for our four young boys, the host was so kind and responsive...just everything about our stay here was perfect! It truly felt like a home away from home! So clean and cozy. So many wonderful memories made there for our family. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

We had a wonderful stay with our three small children (two year old twins and five year old). Vacations are not always easy with littles, but this cabin was perfect! It was clean, fully stocked, and easy to maneuver with pack and plays and “kid stuff.” We loved the beach, sandy swimming area, and having the dock space for our boat. We ate many meals in the screened in porch and enjoyed how close we were to Battle Lake and other fun amenities! This was a great vacation for us. Anne and Dave were communicative, helpful, and everything was straightforward. We would highly recommend this place for your families next vacation!

We had a great experience at Molly's lake cabin! The space was large enough for our family, had quality furnishings, and was kept clean, allowing us to relax and unwind comfortably. The outdoor amentities, such as the fire pit, outdoor seating, etc. were well maintained and allowed our family to spend quality time together outside. The dock and water were fantastic for swimming and hanging out in the sun, adding extra fun to our vacation. Even though a severe storm caused a power and water outage for over 12 hours and time spent cleaning up downed branches and sticks, we made the best of the experience and Molly did the best she could not to let it hinder our fun. Recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes for the backyard steps and swimmer's itch lotion. Overall, a wonderful retreat for families looking to enjoy quality time together!

Connie's place made great entertainment for our two families' joint vacation. Outdoor on a calm quiet small lake with beach, fishing dock, and plenty of floats and quality SUP board and kayak. Lots to do indoor with gym and board games. Well stocked to cook with grill, griddle grill, popcorn maker, etc etc. Close enough to Alexandria to stop in for day trip

House was as described, was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for our short stay and could tell it would have been great for a longer stay! Within driving distance to grocery store and other amenities. Nice neighborhood, if it hadn't been so cold out, we would have taken a walk!!
